  8 woman stayed at this beautiful penthouse for the Vancouver Half Marathon.Easy check in and the owners were available. Many amenities with kitchen/bathrooms fully stocked. A beautiful pool, workout area. Great transportation, we did not rent a car. Just fabulous!!

  We are a family of 6 (3 adults and 3 kids ages 6 to 12). The location was excelent for everything we wanted to do. It was a pitty NHL was on strike, the Canucks arena is around the block from the apartment. Cirque du Soleil was 5 blocks away and there were several places we went for breakfast that were well within walking disttance. The installations were comfortable, clean and the view (when the fog permitted) was amazing. The only negative I can think of is that there is only one shower, the other bathroom has a bathtube. we arrived at a very unusual time due to our flight being cancelled and even though the owners were out of the country we managed to check in at 2:30 in the morning with just a few bumps. They were very flexible and accomodating.

  Here is a quick review regarding my group's stay from 12/13/12 - 12/16/12. We had a group of 7 adults, who fit comfortably into the Penthouse condo. Overall our stay was excellent. The 2 bedrooms, and 1 loft room accommodated 3 separate couples nicely. The views from the top-deck were extraordinary. We thoroughly enjoyed this vacation rental. One item, which I have discussed with the owner, was the garbage disposal. The garbage disposal quit working while we were there. Upon check-out, and then through email it was indicated that we would be responsible to cover the cost. The owner did offer to cover 50% of the cost of a new garbage disposal due to our amicable / cordial discussions on the matter. I disagreed with the decision to place 50% of the cost of a kitchen appliance, but ultimately agreed to this decision. I would suggest checking all appliances at the apartment when doing the initial walk-through to avoid a situation like this. Overall I would rate this as an excellent property though, and would recommend it to high end vacation seekers. This would be a property that I would return to in the future.

  Myself and 5 college friends had a mini-reunion at the penthouse and it was beautiful. The beds are comfortable and the living room is very large. The deck is absolutely wonderful and they even have a gas heat lamp so it doesn't go to waste in the winter. The owners are very accommodating. They were able to work around our flight times in terms of check in/out and always responded to e-mails right away. The apartment is between Downtown and Chinatown on a quiet street. You are about a 5-10 minute walk from Gastown and a lot of good restaurants and bars. It is also right near the stadiums, the skytrain and the aquabus to Granville Island. The apartment is also about a 30 min skytrain ride from the airport.

  Wow! Everything was as expected and better :) The views are amazing and a lot of time was spent on the deck. Great location. We could walk to most places. Alka gave great ideas of where to go and what to do. I would definitely do this again!

  The property was everything I expected. Great location, incredible views, quiet. I would recommend for adults or adults with teenagers. Many very good restaurants are within walking distance; two are mentioned in the the Best of Vancouver 2012. Easy access to highways for car excursions. The only light in the second bath room was burnt out when we arrived. It was not fixed during our stay.

  Family of four with 2 college teens. Ditto what the other reviews say about the fabulous views. We watched the Space Station soar overhead one night. Make sure the late sleeper doesn't take the top bedroom or you can't enjoy the large deck without waking them. We had a cookout, and watched the cruise ships and seaplanes coming and going. Would have liked a listing of favorite restaurants within walking distance, as Internet searches showed too many to choose from. The oversized Master bathtub has a European style hand held sprayer that lifts out of the tub, and a full tile backsplash so it is easy to take a standing shower. Definitely recommend this place.

  This lovely penthouse was wonderful. Everything was modern and updated. The place had everything we needed and had a market across the street that my family of 8 visited every day for fresh food. We loved the view, the beds, and the kitchen. The only hard thing was that the cable clicker was not connecting to the tv but we adjusted. I mean why go to Canada just to watch tv. The other thing that wasn't a bother but just sort of annoying was that you have to take off your shoes when you walk inside the penthouse. All in all, this penthouse was amazing. It was perfect even with a family as big as ours! Thanks so very much!

  My friends and I stayed at this condo for a 4 day weekend in ate June. It was wonderful! The pictures really do not do it justice. The rooftop deck is amazing and the perfect place to take in the Vancouver skyline. Location is fantastic - very close to Chinatown, Gastown and the best shopping in Vancouver. The condo is equipped with all of the necessities and luxuries that made our stay in the city very easy. Rajiva, Alka and Akshay are great too and very responsive with questions or issues (which we had none). I highy recommend this rental...Thanks!

  The view from the Penthouse was spectacular! The balony allows for you to bbq and enjoy being on the 29th floor. The house itself is nice, clean, and plenty of towels. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed. Nice over-sized oval shaped bathtub in the master bedroom. The location of the penthouse was great with lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance. The owner has a nice manual that explains how to use the remote controls on the television, how to have food delivered to the house, how to use the security system, etc. This was quite helpful. Nice big televisions in all areas of the house. It was nice having a washer/dryer in the house with laundry soap provided for our use. The downside is the owner requested us to take the trash out, which entails going down the elevator and into the garbage area. It's really not a big deal, but you have to sort out the trash for recycling and it is very stinky. The other thing, the bedroom upstairs does not have a bathroom. So, you have to go down a flight of stairs every time you need to go, which is a pain if you have to go in the middle of the night. And, there is only one shower available. The bathtub in the master bathroom has a shower head but no shower curtain. This was not a big deal for us as our party was only three adults, but if you had 8 people in the place, it could be a problem. Before checking out, the owner asks you to put the towels in the washer, have all the dishes in the kitchen clean, and take out all the trash. Overall, the house was really nice and relaxing for my family. I don't know that I'd stay here again, primarily because my mother in law has a fear of heights and we did not like taking out our trash. The owner was very friendly and gave us good information about the local area.

  The penthouse was beautiful. Clean and well organized. It is fully stocked with everything that you need for a pleasant stay. The views are incredible. The kitchen is well equipped. The owners were friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic. Centrally located so it is easy to get to all local attractions. Skytrain just a block away. Plenty of nearby restaurants. Super market and starbucks right across the street. The park next to the building has a playground for children. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Great find!

  We rented this while attending a professional conference. We invited colleagues to the roof, where we grilled, drank cocktails, and enjoyed gorgeous sunsets. There was no reason to go looking for bars to meet, when we had the best views of the mountains and harbor in the city. Owner was very responsive when we let him know that the propane tanks to the grill were empty, had three tanks there the next morning! He was very professional and gracious in our other interactions. Our 5 year old enjoyed the apt. There was public transit within a block. A good grocery store, liquor store, and drug store within a block. You will enjoy this apartment.

  We enjoyed our penthouse stay very much... PROS... VIEW is wonderful! Apt. is large, clean and bright. The building location wonderful. The owners gracious and helpful. The beds are comfortable. CONS... Bed linens less that average and dark. Main sofa not easily comfortable. We thought the cleaning fee excessive, given when we arrived all the towels were damp and you are responsible for emptying the trash and putting the towels in the wash prior to leaving. The television is nearly impossible to keep up and running. There is only one standing shower for the three bedrooms. (There is a nice bath hand held shower in the master bath) All said I would rent the apt. again because the views and location outweigh the negatives which were mostly annoy some...

  Owner response: In our experience, most vacation rental property owners expect the dishwasher and washing machine to be loaded and trash put away before departure. The cleaning fee is for the cleaning of the property by a professional crew, which in the case of this property is subsidized for our guests. We personally showed these senior guests how to use the TV twice, but they just couldn't understand how to operate the same (we also have printed instructions in the apt). Therefore, we do not believe that this review is really a fair one ... please see all the other reviews, where our other guests have thoroughly enjoyed this unique penthouse!

  A beautiful, comfortable place in a very convenient location. Incredible views of the city. Renting in December, we didn't get to enjoy the terraces as much as we would have in other seasons, but it didn't matter. Everything in the condo was clean and in good working order. Plenty of towels, silverware, dishes, etc. Comfortable beds, well-appointed bathrooms, although no conventional shower in the master. Great entertainment systems. Instructions on how to manage everything were clear. Communication with the managers and cleaners was excellent. We didn't want to leave!

  Our brief stay was an incredible experience! The photos online only gives you a glimpse of what the place is really like. The decor was tasteful and the suite contained everything we needed. One cannot fully describe the view from every room of the suite, it truly leaves one breathless! We were fortunate to have beautiful sunny weather during our stay and we were able to see the mountains and city views. The owner was very helpful and answered all our questions. If one were to experience Vancouver for a visit, this suite would be the ideal place to stay in to fully enjoy what Vancouver has to offer.

  From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. The breathtaking views, comfortable atmosphere and VERY comfortable beds helped us enjoy our amazing Vancouver weekend. The roof top patio makes you feel like you are on top of the world. It is beautifully furnished and ready for your visit. We will be returning for sure.

  that was fun. the view was incredible. the accomodations were wonderful. the furniture was clean, new and comfortable. the kitchen was well stocked. bedroom 3 was actually a loft yet somewhat private. next time I'm in town I'll definitely consider staying here. Thanks for renting us your wonderful penthouse. I love being on the top!!!!!!! oh yes, Starbucks and another coffee house a block away. Movies, across the street.

  What a beautiful, clean property, and ideal for our family vacation to Vancouver over Labor Day weekend. Three bedrooms made it comfortable for our family. We spent every night on the gorgeous rooftop patio; perfect whether using the BBQ or just sipping wine and enjoying the view! Location was central to everything and we enjoyed walking to the various neighborhoods. The property managers were so helpful; willing to meet us whenever we arrived to answer all questions. Hope to return!

  we enjoyed this property with a few friends...it was a wonderful place to stay! the view alone was so peaceful & relaxing- morning, afternoon, & evening! easy location for getting to gastown & transportation to anywhere, plus you could find markets, liquor stores, etc close by...cabs easy to grab as well. the rooftop is a +! spent time out there when we were not running around vancouver!

  We stayed here with 2 teenage girls; they stayed upstairs in the wondeful loft that opened up to the rooftop terrace with amazing views of mountains, ocean. I actually just opened up all the curtains (feels like you have a 180 view of the city skyline) at night and stared out for hours because of all the beauty. The owners were super nice ; even came over when we didn't know how to operate the tv!! cooked dinner one night and had it on the rooftop....just pure bliss. Can't wait to come back....right outside is a lovely park where you can jog if you wish. Loved the huge supermarket T&T 2 blocks away...it has EVERYTHING. Highly recommend...

  Really no complaints and must say it is the place to stay. Short walking distance to Costco, T & T Market (think Ranch 99), Skytrain, Chinatown and also their Weekend Night Market, Science World, Yaletown, Expo, Gastown, and Robson is about 15 mins away walking. There are a few cafes in the area, a mall across the street with 7-11 and a drug store (think Walgreens). The condo itself has everything you need. Pleanty of space to walk around the Patio/balcony. View is awesome - 180 degrees view facing North Vancouver. You can see Grouse Mountain from the living room!

  My wife and I and another couple rented this unit for one week, which included July 1. A very nice unit with all the amenities. We spent a lot of time on the rooftop terrace which affords views of the city and nearby mountains. The unit is very spacious and well appointed. I recommend it for anyone traveling in groups of four to ten. Good, well equipped kitchen. A very nice grocery store and liquor store are within one block and Chinatown is but a short walk. Gastown is only about three blocks away. Also a short walk to False Creek and a stop of the aquatic taxi which can quickly ferry you to downtown or Granville Island.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car.

  My two daughters, daughter-in-law and three grandaughters ages 14, 12 and 10 and I just returned from a great weekend at this property. (4/22-24/2011) Finding a place for 7 to sleep and eat in a nice neighborhood and close to the Skytrian station was a priority. Good security, nice pool, hot tub and fitness center available on 3rd floor. The condo is everything it claims to be plus being immaculate. The owners were on time to meet us upon arrival and even allowed us to come in early and leave our stuff before going out for the day, there was no booking the day before so this was a lucky break for us. Starbuck's and a very large grocery market were across the street. One block from wine/liquor store if needed. One block from the Dr Sun Yat Sen Chinese Garden (a must see) with Gastown and Chinatown within easy walking distance. Kitchen well appointed and had some spices, salt/pepper, oil , sugar for our use. Nice to have wifi and large TVs. Only down side was the bedding provided. Comforters too heavy and warm and not enough lighter weight blankets for 7 people. Pool towels would have been a nice addition. Would love to come back Recommed it to others. Thanks!!

  We stayed here two nights during a short trip up to Vancouver and loved every minute of it. The views are second to none, the location is great, and the penthouse itself is stunning. I would recommend this place to anyone and plan to go back myself. The owners are extremely nice and helpful and booking it was a breeze. 5+ stars!
