Cotton-Carrigan Cottage, 35 Hamilton Lane, is a fabulous, fully-appointed, totally-equipped, artistic treasure IN the heart of Rosemary Beach.
The home is extremely comfortable, bright and "family friendly." It has a large, fully-equipped, state-of-the-art kitchen with granite countertops and plenty of pantry space. There are three bedrooms, each with a TV/DVD and large closet, and three spacious, well-appointed bathrooms with counter and storage space. The master suite opens to the upstairs sleeping/sitting porch, which overlooks Kingston Park and has a private seating area with a hammock. The other two bedrooms are both upstairs, and one offers a queen bed, and the other has a double bunk (bottom) with a single top. They share a large, jack-n-jill bathroom that has two, separate sinks and wash areas.
The Cotton-Carrigan Cottage has three porches with inviting rockers, chairs, a hammock, a swing and a picnic table. The front downstairs porch, which provides seating for six and faces the quaint courtyard/play area of Kingston Park, is everyone's favorite. Additionally, the home provides two bicycles, a library of family and children's movies, books, cards, board games and a Croquet set for your enjoyment.
It is a short stroll to the beach, the town center, two of the four pools, the butterfly park, the spa, the Summer Kitchen restaurant, Rosemary Beach Trading Company and The Wild Olives market & deli.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
We looked at properties in most of the beach communities along 30A, but we purposely chose Rosemary Beach because of its tranquility, architecture and true sense of community.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We spend hours on the front porch, whether enjoying our morning coffee, reading a good book or relaxing with an afternoon glass of wine. When the jasmine is in bloom, there is no better place to be. We take long walks and cook fabulous meals. While in RMB, we do many of the "simple" things that we never seem to have time to do at home, and we savor every minute of every day while there.

Cotton-Carrigan Cottage was lovingly purchased by Kate & John Cotton of Birmingham, AL; Lee & Frank Carrigan of Arlington, VA; and, Kate & Lee's parents, Katherine & Frank Hawthorne of Lawton, OK. We have always cherished the Thanksgivings, weddings and other family celebrations that we have been able to share together in our RMB home, and they are all the more dear to us since losing our father this past April. To us, time spent in Rosemary Beach defines the true meaning of family. We hope that our guests, many of whom have visited with us for several years, experience the same joy and create the same unforgettable family moments as we do each time we are there.

We had a great time with friends at this house! Everything you could ever want was within walking distance, the beach, stores, food. It was like being in our own little paradise. The house was gorgeous and perfect for friends on a weekend vacation! No one ever felt crowded, everything we could want was there. Even on the day it rained a little, we had activities in the house to do! I would highly reccommend this house and area for a vacation!

Absolutely wonderful! The house was extremely comfortable, clean, spacious, and gorgeous! There were 8 adults and everyone had enough room to rest and relax and even play some highly competitive games of Taboo and Trivia. We spent time by the beach, pool, riding bikes, playing croquet, and just relaxing. Everything was within walking distance and restaurants and locals were wonderful! We celebrated my 30th birthday at the beach and I can't think of better way!

Stayed at Cotton-Carrigan Cottage Aug '11 - house is absolutely beautiful and well appointed w/ great amenities (cable, internet, board games, movie and book libraries), plenty of space, and a great location. Eight adults fit comfortably with pull-out couch and three full baths. Loved the covered porches with ceiling fans and hammock, as well as the house's shared courtyard where we spent many nights enjoying a cocktail and playing croquet. Plenty of room for many cooks in a well-stocked, gourmet kitchen with breakfast bar, lots of pantry space, and huge fridge. We even baked a birthday cake! Neighborhood amenities are impressive, including 4 pools - we tried them all! - green space for lawn games, adorable stores, a spa, and great restaurants. All this plus access to the gorgeous private beaches - not crowded, easy walk to the boardwalk from the house. Finally, flight was cancelled due to a storm - the owners graciously worked with us to allow us to stay until we could rebook our flights.Love this cottage and hope to return many times!
