Beautiful, spacious Condo with cathedral ceilings and south-facing windows. Two decks, great views, and great daylight all day long. Large master bedroom with fireplace and jacuzzi, separated from main area for privacy.
Comfortable and contemporary furniture, carpet and décor. This building is in a quiet area of Winter Park, but still convenient to the slope - 20 yards from the shuttle bus stop, and a 10 minute walk to downtown.
In-unit washer and dryer, and garage add convenience. It's our home away from home and we only rent at peak times, so we're sure you'll enjoy it!

My husband and I are professionals who have lived in Colorado for the past 33 years. We moved from the east coast for my husband to attend graduate school in architecture in the early 80's. We fell in love with Colorado and have never left - we currently live in Denver. We enjoy the beauty of the mountains and are happy to take "mini-vacations" to our mountain retreat on weekends and holidays. We also love to travel and if you stay in our condo you will see some of the places we have visited displayed on our "photo wall". It's been fun to spend time in Winter Park and also to take time to travel around the world so VRBO is perfect for us in providing the opportunity to rent our place when we are out of town or spending time in Denver. We really want our vacation renters to enjoy the condo as much as we have!
Why the Owner Chose Timber Run
We chose Winter Park because there is so much to do in the Winter and Summer months with great hiking in the Fall. We take advantage of skiing, snowshoeing,x-country skiing, and sledding in the winter and mountain biking, road biking, hiking, and running in the summer months. Rocky Mountain National Park and Grand Lake are great day trips in the summer and Fall. We love our condo and the quiet community in which we live above the town of Winter Park. In the summer we love to take walks into town for ice-cream after dinner at the local ice-cream parlor. In winter we treat ourselves to dinners at Devil's Thumb after a day of x-country skiing on groomed trails. The travel from Denver is easily accessible and only a little over an hour from downtown Denver. We love sharing our condo so people can enjoy the beauty of the Rocky Mountains. We have all of the enjoyment of living in the mountains without the hassle of having to travel to far from Denver - We love the ease of getting off of I-70 and going over Berthoud Pass without the traffic going through the Tunnel on I-70.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
We love the two decks on our condo both facing the continental divide. In the summer we eat most of our meals on the top deck off of the master bedroom. Our neighbors know when we are at the condo because they can see our striped umbrella on the balcony. The condo is located in a quiet neighborhood and we are lucky to see wild life all year long. We have had bears visit our back yard late at night in the summer months, moose in the Fall and Winter months and foxes all year round. We also set out hummingbird feeders in the summer and enjoy their visits. The condo is two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The cathedral ceilings throughout the condo makes for an airy and sunlit space. The master suite is situated away from the main living space and adds privacy. Two working fireplaces is an added plus (one being in the master bedroom) and a large jetted bath is great when we don't want to walk to the hut-tub on site. Most of all it is the quiet and peacefulness of Winter Park that we love. Even a weekend away at the condo feels like a restful vacation.

We stayed in this rental over spring break and it was exactly as advertised. It was clean and roomy, had plenty of extra linens, etc. The owner was extremely helpful and prompt with any questions i had. We were appreciative of the owners flexibility in rental days (we stayed mid-week to mid week, 6 nights not 7). We would stay there again, no question.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We just returned from the perfect stay in this delightful condo. It's a very comfortable, clean, well-maintained, beautifully appointed, spacious unit, with all the amenities one could want. It's very well-located, just minutes to the center of the cute town, and in the heart of the most spectacular snowshoeing/hiking country, with abundant trails. The views are magnificent from the many windows; it's light and airy by day, and cozy by night. The beds are comfortable, the fireplaces are wonderful, and the kitchen (and indeed the whole condo) is very well stocked. The owners are super easy to work with, and I'd highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a beautiful getaway in the Rocky Mountains, any season of the year.

This is a very warm, cozy, roomy, well stocked condo. The owners were very easy to work with and made sure the condo was well stocked with anything we would need. It was also very clean. It's true the bus picks up right down the hill from the front door. However, if you plan to walk into town, it's a hike. It's fine if you're an adult in good physical condition, but it was too much from my whiny kids. This is our 5th trip to Winter Park for skiing. We love Winter Park because it's a great family-oriented/kid-friendly town. Our favorite restaurant is Deno's. Our favorite activities in addition to the skiing is tubing in Frasher and sleding in Hide-Away park. The town also offered free horse and buggy rides, but we couldn't manage to get there in time to try it out. I highly recommend this condo and Winter Park.
