This is a private home high up in Taos Ski Valley. With new appliances, new floors and a new family room, this home is perfect for your family trip to Taos Ski Valley. Our home is one of the rare houses near the upper lift (kachina) at Taos, Only 1/2 mile below the lift on the road to the Bavarian. With the hiking, biking and skiing trails just outside your doors. Walking to and from the ski trails downhill both ways, but it is a steep walk so we suggest parking in one of the lots. There are plenty of mountain activities in both summer and winter, with the museums and shops of the historic town of Taos only 25 min away there are plenty of activities for all. This house has all the benefits of being in the ski valley, yet is secluded from the condos and noise of the village. Your own private high mountain retreat.
In the summer this home has direct access to just under 30 miles of the most challenging single track mountain biking in the country, with trails all the way to the top of Bull of the Woods mountain, above 12,000 feet. Walk directly out the door for a hike on the Williams lake trail to summit Wheeler peak, the highest mountain in New Mexico. Please note, this property is only accessed by a 4 WD vehicle in the winter. This the perfect high altitude rocky mountain retreat.

This is a great home for large groups, romantic getaway's and everything in between. We stayed there once with two other couples and their families (at total of 6 adults, 6 kids) and had a fantastic time. So good in fact, that we have now gone back several times with our kids and on our own. The house has accommodated each group perfectly. The location is great, especially in the summer/fall with easy access to many great trails. The house was immaculate when we arrived and is clearly well maintained by the owners. The hot tub, is a wonderful amenity-a real treat after a day of hiking or skiing. Overall, we would highly recommend this house!Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We had a great time! The house is comfortable and kid friendly. We had 5 Adults and 4 kids and had plenty of room. Most important of all... the beds are very comfortable, we never ran out of hot water, and the hot tub is awesome! I hope we can come back during ski season!! Thanks for sharing your home with us!Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Wow, Killer pad, really enjoyed our stay. The house is very clean and recently renovated with all the amenities for the ski centric family. The house sleeps 10 very comfortably and is in close proximity to lift access. Loved the Hot tub at the end of the day . Thanks for an awesome visit and making renting in Taos so easy. Will be back for sure!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
