This beautiful two-story vacation home is located right in the heart of Squaw Valley, just a mile from the spectacular, world renowned slopes.
The home was just recently remodeled from top to bottom and inside and out. With 5 bedrooms, there is plenty of room to sleep 10 very comfortably.
The downstairs has a lovely (and cozy) living room with a large flat screen HDTV (and attached Bluray player), a fire pit area where everyone seems to gather after a day of skiing or boarding for hot chocolate or libations, a very comfortable dining area, two bedrooms, a small office area (for the workaholics), and a bathroom.
The upstairs has a large family room with a brand new 50 inch flat screen TV (with a Wii System, games, and Bluray player attached), a wet bar area with it's own sink and dishwasher, three bedrooms (including the master bedroom), a bathroom and laundry facility. The A-frame construction of the home gives this second story a very 'tahoe/mountain' feel.
Off the living room downstairs is a deck and hot tub with a view of the mountain. And for those ski/board fans, there's even a chairlift swing made from one of the chairs that carried the olympic athletes up the ski runs during the 1960 olympics.
Access to the home is very easy. No long flights of snow covered stairs to climb; no slogging up an inaccessible driveway. Just park your car(s) in the driveway, go up two stairs, and your home!
