The title says it all "NO BAD DAYS"! This rental was exceptional and so inviting. It was even more than I had expected and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to have a great beach experience with your pet! The home was very clean and the access to the beach was steps away! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I will be back OB Beach House!Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Great location! You can walk or bicycle everywhere in O.B. Loved that bicycles are provided and that there is a covered parking spot. Very clean with a modern feel. Owner very accomodating. Beautiful outdoor living space in the backyard. A lot of thought went into making this the perfect vacation home. My best friend and I visited for a girls weekend and I can't wait to return with my husband and kids. We felt very safe here.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We came from WA state looking for sun and surf. We found mostly surf :) The Beach house was lovely! It looked just like the pictures and was very clean when we arrived. Amy was very helpful, non-intrusive, yet responsive to our needs. She was also very accommodating with occasional doggy care - VERY much appreciated. We spent most of our time on beach activity, getting to know OB, plus bike rides and golf. We like the home feel of OB and this was a great vacation home. I have recommended this home to my friends, especially with dogs, due to the access to Dog Beach and the bike path. SO much to do in the San Diego area!Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We have traveled to OB from Virginia for the past 5 years and stayed in VRBO properties. 'No Bad Day's is one of the best. The apt is modern with clean lines, nice decor, comfortable and spacious feeling. The bathroom and kitchen are top rate.. All the amenities are top notch from the televisions to the dishes and pots and pans, including a filtered water pitcher. Thoughtful touches are provided like shower gel, dish & hand soap in the kitchen, and a lovely welcome gift. Most of all we enjoyed the private patio and the ability to just walk out the door, through the patio and back-yard and find ourselves on the wonderful San Diego River walk. Turn to the right and there are miles of paved walk along the river and the tidal marshes. Turn left and you are just a block or so to that place that makes OB so special, Dog Beach. We don't have a dog, but we spent some of every day sitting at Dog Beach taking in the joy of dogs off-leash and frolicking. The nearby neighborhood has many restaurants and friendly neighborhood bars. Our favorite breakfast place is around the block, DayBreak. The best Vietnamese food ever is at the OB Noodle House, O'Bistro offers a wide range of entrees and sandwiches, and Mothers Saloon is a comfortable, mixed-age place to hang out, have a craft brew and good appetizer specials. The main hub of OB, Newport Avenue, is in comfortable walking distance. All the photos in the listing are true to life. And when you're a bit tired of being out and about, it is so pleasant to just sit on the couch and look out the big picture window into the backyard. Amy was most pleasant to work with, very responsive by email and telephone. Highly recommended. This home was fabulous and Amy, the owner was so easy to work with. We were a 3 generation group of 6 adult family members sharing this home for a long weekend as we gathered to celebrate the graduation of two of our young men from Marine Corps Boot Camp. While the home only has 2 bedrooms and one bath, it was easily large enough to accommodate us and Amy made certain that there were plenty of towels and amenities available. She was gracious enough to allow us to invite other family members to share in a small BBQ in the backyard in honor of our two new Marines. The fire pit was the central hub around which tales of military service, old and new, were shared and laughed over. The bottle of Champagne and welcoming treats were enjoyed immensely and all agreed that the beds in the house were very comfortable. The walk out the back gate to the beach was simply beautiful and a great opportunity to walk off the calories as well as meet a few dogs and watch the surfers challenging the waves. The OB neighborhood has charm and the wine bar on the corner had great food at a reasonable cost. All in all, this was an exceptional time, made all the more special by the ability to gather somewhere other than a hotel room or crowded and noisy restaurant. If I find myself back in San Diego, I know where I am staying!!! My husband and I stayed in this home with our dogs. It was updated, modern decor and appliances, and provided everything we needed. The owners were super easy to work with, and very responsive. It's a very short (3-minute) walk to the dog beach, which is also next to a human beach. We loved this location, and walked to nearby restaurants every night. There's so much to do in the area, and this is a perfect place to stay while you do it!Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

This place was absolutely wonderful! Perfect location and amenities - we loved every minute. This is the 6th place we've rented in OB and by far the best! We will be back! The property was very clean, tidy, and well maintained. Being sports fans, we enjoyed the high quality TV and comfy couch!! The kitchen was well stocked with all utensils. The fenced backyard was wonderful - we loved the fire pit! Best of all was the path out the back directly to the San Diego river and dog beach. We were warmly welcomed with a little tray of goodies. Our dog loved her very own bowls and bed. The owner was easy to communicate with, available for any issues that might arise, very personable and helpful. We would recommend this rental to anyone!!Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.
