The whole family had a great time. Too bad it was too windy, but we managed to pick Oysters and Clams when the tide was low. Very relaxing. Looking forward to another trip next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

Wonderful home in a magical location! Two perfect master suites, state of the art kitchen, and the most beautiful river-rock fireplace we have ever seen! Collected oysters and clams from the beach, beach-combed, and played soccer on the perfect grass field out front. Sunsets were lovely. Fires at night in the cozy living room. Plus great internet! The home is perfectly maintained and lacks for nothing. A stunning retreat! We travelled with two couples and 3 children - 21, 14 and 11 years old. Everyone had a great time and we had not a single problem. We can't recommend this property highly enough - we hope we are lucky enough to return to Oyster Beach House! Thank you Patricia!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The owners of the Oyster Beach House generously donated a two night stay to benefit the North Mason Relay for Life. We were the lucky winners who got to spend a gorgeous weekend feeling spoiled in luxury. The attention to detail was evident everywhere we looked. The tile and wood throughout the house made us feel as though we had stepped into a home featured in a magazine. The gourmet kitchen is the highlight of the spacious floor plan and has a breathtaking view of Hood Canal. We watched fish jumping as we ate breakfast! We brought our fishing poles and spent some time fishing and caught a salmon. Picking oysters from the beach was a treat, and we used the firepit at the edge of the front lawn to cook them. Whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or a family vacation, we would definately recommend the Oyster Beach House. It is truly a setting for making memories.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Highlighted by clam digging , kayaking, roasting marshmallows, drinking coffee on quiet mornings on the porch. The kids loved the back yard and spent hours playing baseball, croquet, and fun made-up games. We loved the house and hope to return again in the future.Did you find this review helpful? This is a great vacation home. Clean, spacious, with plenty of natural light and amazing views. Stayed for six days and enjoyed some slow time and relaxation with all the modern conveniences. There's a big lawn for kids to play on and a fire pit. With three children and three adults, there was something to do for everyone. Tucked away, but only 10 minutes from grocery stores and a half hour from the ferry dock. We even took some short road trips including one to the nearby Olympic National Park. Thank you Patricia and Steve.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We were 2 families in the area for a wedding and had a marvelous time. The house is so spacious, the pictures don't really show how roomy it is. The wrap around deck was the best - we spent hours there, eating, talking, having other family members over who were in near-by rentals. The young adults enjoyed the fire pit late at night, we gathered fresh oysters from right out front and cooked them up, had other great meals in the fully-equipped and wonderfully large kitchen. The kayak was a nice addition. Really a perfect vacation and wonderful place to spend any amount of time, the longer the better.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
