Located on Thomas Drive beside World Famous Pineapple Willies, Sunbird is one of the original condo's on the beach. Its NOT a HUGE building with crowded beaches; just 2 towers, each with 12 floors, and a private beach. Sunbird is very FAMILY FRIENDLY!! The parking lot and sunning decks are gated and require a code or pass to get into. All entrances to the pools are also gated separately.
JET SKI, PARASAIL, SAILBOAT, Padded Beach Chairs and Umbrellas for rent ON BEACH in front of condo.
Sunbird is conveniently located with-in walking distance of several restaurants, shopping, a public golf course, recreational rentals and attractions. Please see the list of local ATTRACTIONS below as well as their location on the MAP. A 10 minute drive from the new PIER PARK Mall. 45 Minutes from DESTIN outlet malls.
NOTE: ALL units are 1 BR/1 BA, but the layouts differ. This is a 'C' unit. THIS UNIT IS GROUND FLOOR. Rear entrance from parking lot. Glass sliding doors open directly out front on the patio by the beach and pool. No need for elevators!
Sorry, no pets, no smoking in units, and the primary renter must be 25 years of age and stay the entire period (STRICTLY ENFORCED BY THE ASSOCIATION).

Right next to one of three pools and you can walk right out to the beach. Condo security is fantastic. Condo is on the small size but clean and well kept.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

This unit is great! It is right between two pools and was the perfect size for me, my husband, and our two boys; even one who is still an infant. I stayed here 4 days during Spring Break just a few weeks ago. This condo is awesome! Just steps away from the pool. Not to mention a few steps from the beach without the use of elevators! YAY!! It was very clean and everything I needed was at my fingertips. The bed was comfy and there is a new couch that is not shown in this picture. I will definitely be back and will definitely recommend it to my family and friends. The owners are terrific to work with! I have stayed at their other condo previously and wanted to try this one out...so glad I did.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

I brought my 3 grandchildren (ages 14,12,and 9) down for 4 nights and 5 days. This was our 1st vacation (just the 4 of us) together. I had a blast with them. Everything was convenient, pool was just outside door and beach was just steps in front of us. Very easy on 1st floor. Condo was everything it stated and very clean. Could not have asked for a better vacation. Owners were very helpful and easy to work with. I hope to start a new tradition with my grandkids and will definitely be back. My two college daughters and I stayed at this condo and we loved it!! We walked right out the door and straight to the pool and the beach, no elevators or steps to worry with!! We actually had more room on our patio than other people had on their balcony! We sat out back and talked about how fortunate we were to be on the ground floor and be able to go right in the condo to get a drink or snack. Most people had to take their coolers down to the pool. The room was quiet even as close to the pool as we were. The air conditioner works GREAT!! Our room was clean and the grounds of the building were well maintained. We WILL be back to stay in THIS room! Oh, and the view was great!!Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

the only negative thing i have to say is the bed was small and hard. but that's our spoiledness talking - we're use to a king fluffy bed :) who needs that when you've got the BEACH right outside your door! the owners have described their unit well! beach side deck is semi private with foot traffic to and from the pool gate which you're right beside. it has 2 plastic adirondack chairs with footstools and the only all wood LARGE family table with bench seating. very lovely for morning coffee! highly recommend this unit for family with kids or an elderly couple. i could see being so close to beach and pool being perfect in those situations. the unit was well maintained and very clean; hats off to the cleaning crew! there was plenty of everything, extra blankets, pillows, linens, cook and kitchen ware, and it's so nice of the owners to include beach umbrella and chairs! another nice plus was that the owners include the cleaning fee, parking passes, and FOUR swim bracelets in their package!!! no hidden costs here, guys!! we only required two bracelets, but i overheard others say those swim bracelets can get very pricey!! the owners are very kind, easy to communicate with, and very accommodating. you will be pleased renting this unit! i hope you don't mind; i left my book for someone else to read after i finished reading it :) may the collection grow!Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We had a great time while staying in your beautiful condo this past weekend. It is so convenient to be able to walk directly from the parking lot straight to the room on the ground floor. The condo was very clean & beautifully decorated with all the ammenities. We especially loved being able to walk a few feet & be in the pool or on the beach. We will definetly be repeat users! My husband and I stayed at this amazing condo for a quick beach getaway. The condo is centrally located to numerous hot spots in PCB annnd, it is right on the beach!!!! We literally walked out the back door to the pool patio and beach...no elevators required!! About the owner: We have owned this condo since 1994, and enjoyed the convenience of being on the ground floor so much, we bought another one! So we now have the two on the ground floor so we take our friends with us, and everyone still has privacy. We love meeting all the friendly people who vacation at the Sunbird year after year. Being on the ground floor makes it easy to make friends.
Why the Owner Chose Sunbird:
We were totally spoiled on our first visit to a ground floor unit at Sunbird. The pool and the beach are right out the door! No waiting on elevators - we simply walked out the door to paradise, and once on the beach, we walked through the sand in our swimsuits to Pineapple Willy's beachside entrance for the most incredible drinks and amazing food. We never had to leave the beach or catch an elevator. We knew we had found the best location on the beach.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
My favorite thing is being able to walk up to Pineapple Willy's for a snack or drink from either the beach or the street. By far, though, the best benefit of our ground floor unit is that you are always right on the beach. No walking to the elevators and waiting. If your kids need to take a nap, you can still sit at the pool and be seconds away from checking on them.
