We love this house.
It is a 5 bedroom year round home with 100 feet of private frontage. It was built in 2006 and is now newly available for rental. It is located 5 minutes north of Montague Michigan near the old channel Inn and the Old Channel Trail Golf course (a very nice public course). It is also 2 exits north of Michigan adventure.
The home layout is as follows. There are two upstairs suites with separate private bathrooms and a laundry room in between. In one sweet there are two full beds. The other has a king bed. The main floor has a large living room with a fireplace and a modern kitchen. There is a deck looking over the lake. There are 3 bedrooms in the basement, a fireplace and a full bathroom.
This basement walks out to a large deck with fire pit, private hot tub, and gas grill. This space is perfect for entertaining and large or multifamily groups. Lines are supplied as are dishes, lines and most things you would need for your stay.
There are 15 steps to your private beach, so you will not have any problem going back and forth to the house. There is a tree house by the driveway and plenty of parking at the bottom of the driveway.
Rentals are from Sunday to Saturday. The home will be professionally cleaned prior to your stay. The home is non-smoking and no pets please.

My family and I stayed here last week, and had such a wonderful time. The home is beautiful, very clean, and comfortable. It easily accomodated my large family and was very kid friendly. The view of the lake is amazing. The owner was friendly and very responsive. The property is private but still close to town etc., we found it hard to leave such a beautiful place. I would highly recommend this rental and hope to stay there again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
