  7 of us from all accross the country stayed at the house for 5 days to attend a wedding. The house was perfect for a group our size. It was an easy commute to the various wedding events around the area. The house was as described, well equiped, and ready to occupy. I would recommend the house to anyone with a large group that wants to stay and play together.

  7 of us from all accross the country stayed at the house for 5 days to attend a wedding. The house was perfect for a group our size. It was an easy commute to the various wedding events around the area. The house was as described, well equiped, and ready to occupy. We were a little disappointed in a couple of things. There was only one lamp in the great room and it was broken so there was not enought light at night for those of us who still like to read books. The shades on both master bedroom windows were broken, non functional, and need to be replaced. There were also no clothes hangers in any of the bedrooms so those of us coming a long way with a suitcase full of clothes could not hang anything. We bought some hangers and left them there. Also the lower door hinge on the bedroom door at the end of the hall was broken and the door would not open all the way. All minor issues that did not impact our visit but did indicate that the house needs a little TLC.

  My boyfriend and I stayed overnight because we were in town for a concert and had wanted a relaxing winter retreat after a busy finals week. It was perfect for getting out of town (we are from Chicago) without even having to travel too far. The house was beautiful - very spacious and nicely furnished. Jason was very helpful and had the house entirely prepped for our stay - even sent us directions and attractions around the area! I definitely recommend it - it's a great getaway for an affordable price.

  House was nice and clean! We had a beautiful week, despite some clouds and some rain. We were able to use the fire pit and the hot tub. A tip for Friday Night Fish Fry is the Sussex Inn on Capitol Drive and 74. It was wonderful (and filling). The neighborhood here is so friendly. We never passed someone who didn't say hi or waive from their car. All in all it was a great week with good friends. For a good time, rent the boat! -Prospect Heights, IL

  A great summer vacation with the family! The week was steamy hot, so there was a lot of swimming. We visited the lakefront park beach most days- and the kids really enjoyed themselves. We house accomodated our large group nicely and we especially loved the deck and big backyard. We took the pontoon boat out several times. All-in-all a great vacation. Sad to have to leave.

  We were here with our family which included 2 60 year olds, 2 35 year olds, 2 20 year olds and 4 little ones. Everyone had a great time. The house was just right sized and very comfortable. We did a lot of fishing, rented some boats, went to town and shopped, went to the farmers market, the beach & the lovely shops nearby. We wven took some time to rest and "smell the roses". Thanks for helping to make our vacation a memorable one! - Naperville, IL

  Took our annual family get together here- ages 3 to 70. We were able to stretch out, play games, cook together & go on a leisurely cruise on the old boat. Hot tub was appreciated, as was the fire pit. A nice 2 hour drive from Chicago -Chicago, IL
