Technically, this listing is accurate. The photos do show the rental's appearance; however, it does not show the details. Details like the refrigerator door pot marked with rust, rust on the bar stools and chairs, and rust on the stove. Door knobs so difficult to open that we had to duct tape the latch for fear we would break something trying to open and close them. It doesn't show the armrest broken off the sofa and setting on the floor. It doesn't show the crusty, dried food on the dishes. (We had to wash EVERYTHING before we used it.) The TV's HDMI connection didn't work. The TV in the bedroom was snowy on many channels. The other TV had no remote. One phone didn't work. The other one was had so much static on the line you couldn't have a conversation. Plus, the phone rang once or twice a day and no one ever spoke when we answered it. Spooky. I got the impression that since this was a pet friendly rental, the owner/rental company thought that it didn't have to be as clean or as well maintained. Sorry. I expect more, especially when I pay this much. Maybe part of this is my fault for dealing with a rental company. I'm not sure this listing should be on VRBO because I never dealt with the owner. I can't recommend this rental and I won't use it again. I gave it two stars simply because the beach and the island were wonderful and I was able to enjoy it with my family, including the furry ones.Did you find this review helpful? Great 4 day getaway! We had a blast! Patruby's Place was nicely decorated with causal furnishings and bright, pretty, beachy accessories. The weather was not 100% agreeable for the entire weekend, but we had a great time in the cottage anyway. We really enjoyed the comfortable patio furniture and the jacuzzi tub. We will be back!
