Our family included myself, my husband, two teenagers, a tween and my mother in law. We explored every part of the island, snorkeled every beach. The children loved it! They enjoyed the peace and tranquility as did my mother in law, husband and myself! The beaches are beautiful, white sand and basically unoccupied. If you are seeking peace this is the place to go. No crowds or noise, then you can choose to go to the Cruise Center, with the unique little shops and Margaretaville! Or go downtown when the ships are in and enjoy the uniqueness of Cockburn Town. We are home now, planning our return.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

My family and I rented a 3 bedroom villa. Lots of space, and the pictures from the inside mostly looked like what was on the website. However, the outside is a little shocking-- this place and much of the island has not repaired everything from the hurricane in 2008. It does look like a hurricane went through the place! However, we were across the street from a beautiful beach. (No beach view). If you want to stay at a fancy resort, though, Grand Turk is not the place to stay. Donkeys, horses, dogs and cows roam the island at will. There is a lot of garbage on many streets. If you want something sterile and like crowds, though, stay in Provo. However, I was happy with Grand Turk and would go back again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I stayed at Palm Grove Villas in Feb 2012 and had a great time!!!! The property is quaint and well-maintained. The interior was very clean and I loved the beautiful stone mosaic showers and exotic furniture. I was also pleasantly surprised at the thoughtfulness of the property manager Joab who was very helpful and accommodating. The houses were private and only about a ten minute walk to the dive shops, restaurants, bars & nightlife (though this Island doesn’t have much of a night life lol). The golf carts we rented with the property were a blast and the best way to get around on this small Island. I loved having the feel of a private beach which is just steps away from the houses and has beautiful soft sand? I spent lots of time on the beach relaxing, searching for beach glass, shells, and watching the sunsets every night. The Scuba diving on Grand Turk is amazing, so much to see!! I swam with schools of fish, saw a few turtles, a barracuda, many lionfish and such colourful coral, it's amazing being down there, so peaceful, another world...It was my first time and I am thrilled that my introduction to Scuba Diving was in Turks with Smitty from Grand Turk Diving who was so nice and patient! Truly loved the property that we stayed in and have been recommending this property to my friends and family and will definitely stay here again. Really enjoyed my time in Grand Turks, a trip I will never forget!!!!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

We had a fantastic time in Grand Turk. This house is perfect if you travel with teens and they need their own room. The kitchen has everything needed to stay home. We had bicycles and a adventurous golf cart to explore the island. Away from luxury and tourism this is a way to connect with the people, get a sense of the life on the island and still have the comfort of a 'home'. It could have more paintings or pictures, because our house was a bit plain. It was just the right amount of fun things to do: snorkeling, biking, horseback riding, sting rays... Joab is a great man helping with everything we needed. The dogs are very friendly. Wild horses, cows or dunkeys are everywhere. The only downsite was the garbage on the roads. The weather was perfect. The beaches have beautiful soft white sands. The ocean is an unbelievable beautiful turkis color and warm temp. We will miss it!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

I've just ended my 6 week wonderful and very relaxing vacation at the Palm Grove Villas, Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos. My house was more like a ‘rustic’ cottage but still very charming and was a short 2-3 minute walk to the beach. As with any house on the Island or anywhere things can and do break down however Joab, the man that looks after everything down there was very attentive and responsive with dealing with issues that came up. If you’re looking for 5 star restaurants and hotels then Grand Turk may not be for you, but if you want to experience real Island life, spend your days snorkeling, scuba diving, relaxing on amazing beaches then Grand Turk is the place to be. Dino offers a value that can't be beat, I found him to be very accommodating to my needs. If I had to pick something that's needs improving it would be the exterior fence around the villa which is in need of a good paint job and the gate requires some realignment. I'm sure Dino will have this done before my return next winter.Owner response: Thanks Ken, I will paint the fence and fix the gate before your next visit!

My boyfriend and our best friend met on Grand Turk to spend five nights at Palm Grove Villas. The house was gorgeous--one of the best vacations of my life. The beach was just a minutes walk and was absolutely breathtaking... walking into town only took about 10 minutes and we had no need for a car. Joab was SOOOOOO helpful and did everything he could to make our stay more enjoyable. He even gave us a ride to and from the dive shop/cruise ship center after we dove in the morning. Dino was very patient emailing me back and forth with my many questions- he even checked in on us via email during our stay. Overall the entire renting process was easy and Joab was just amazing...we tipped him very well. He is well known on the island for being a great guy. Everything in the 3 bedroom house was very nice...the only negative thing I have to say about our stay is that it wasn't long enough!Owner response: Thanks Hanna, looking forward to your return!

What a fab place to stay! has every convenience of home...even more. Full kitchen with everything you need including microwave, multiple Wc's excellent living room with TV. I was happy I chose to stay here. If you're looking to get away from the beaten path of hotel room after hotel room, but don't want to give up luxury, this is the place for you. Interior decor made me feel like i was living on a home magazine set, with out giving up comfort. Great open concept design, with lots of room to move around. Location was excellent. I was able to easily ride a bicycle from this location, and only had to cross the street to get to the beach. Looking forward to my next trip.Did you find this review helpful? Ideal holiday for people who seek rest and tranquility, looking for places of paradise lost, isolated, far from beaches and crowded tourist sites. We were impressed by the incredible aquatic fauna and flora: Fishing, swimming in turquoise water, scuba diving (coral reefs, whales, giant rays, ...), horseback and riding. Plus, people are very welcoming. A warm and friendly way to get together with family and friends in an idyllic place, in wooden houses very comfortable and pleasant.Did you find this review helpful? Whether it was preparing fabulous meals in the spacious, well-stocked kitchen (something we love to do), relaxing and chatting with pals on the deck under the beautiful, starlit, clear Grand Turk nite-sky, or scuba diving and snorkeling in some of the best spots I've been to, this was a vacation that I will always cherish. We look forward to returning to this property. Exactly what I wanted in a a privately owned property.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
