Guest Comments:
“Well it was love at first sight. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and only wish we could stay longer.”
“Your cabin is a wonderful secluded site to enjoy nature, watching the sea and her inhabitants was enthralling. Eagles showed themselves often, as well as gulls, crows, seals and otters playing on the rocks. At supper last night two (of the many!) deer waltzed past the dining room window.”
“We lacked for nothing. Thank you for all your thoughtful details and the cozy cottage feel. Our dog loved retrieving his toy in the sea and often commented on how great the view was.”

We stayed at the Nanoose cottage for a few days over New Year's and it was one of the most memorable New Year's Eves I've had. The location is beautiful, and has the feeling of being secluded, without the inconveniences of isolation. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and lots of lovely touches, including this amazing vintage stove that was so much fun to use! Being right on the water is such a treat, to hear the waves and the see the wildlife, it felt very special. We ended up cancelling our plans for day trips, and hope to make our stay an annual tradition!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you so very much for your kind words. We will be delighted to welcome you back to Garden Beach Cottage anytime!

Beautiful setting but the cottage was very rustic and not suitable for 4 adults. Overpriced and in need of upgrades and repairs to justify the weekly rates. There is nowhere to launch the boat which is a ways from the waters edge and too heavy to move!! We really enjoyed the deck life and nearby beaches. Views are spectacular.Recommended for: Sightseeing.
Owner response: We were sad to read the January 19, 2013 comments re your stay at Garden Beach Cottage in August of 2012. We were also surprised that you posted these remarks with VRBO when your arrangements were made neither through VRBO.com, nor with us directly. This is the first we have heard of your displeasure with the cottage. While the majority of guests report to us their pleasure with the cottage atmosphere we take pride in and work hard to provide (and which we are careful to accurately depict with photos and details on our listing page), we sincerely regret that you were unhappy with your experience last summer.

We spent 2 week at this wonderful cabin. It is truly like a home away from home. They have thought of everything you could ever need during your stay. The sunrises are special and that is when you could see otters, seals and killer whale. Cabin is located in an ideal location for day trips. They place is well maintained and very clean. The pictures do not due it justice!! Thanks so much for everything!!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
