We just got home after spending a week in the nicest bungalow/ Cottage. This was the perfect place. The house and property is even better in person than in the photos. We felt right at home. We would definitely rent this cottage again. Brandy is delightful and very easy to work with thank you for a wonderful week. The Swoboda'sDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Great location and the owners are friendly and helpful. Listing was accurate and property was very clean. Definitely would recommend this property to a friend. We liked the small town atmosphere. We will be back again next year for our annual fishing trip.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We found this place on line and it was great. The place was clean and well stocked with kitchen items for meal preparation. We have two cats and they were very accommodating to our early arrival. We will stay again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This is a very nice and quiet apartment and overall awesome property. The patio is wonderful with comfortable lounge chairs. We enjoyed the view and it feels private. There is a high rise condo next to it, but in April most of the residents were gone, so it didn't bother us. The apartment is absolutely clean and was large enough for 2 of us and our 2 small dogs. The side entrance is private and the owners are friendly and not intrusive. There is plenty of parking for vehicles, boats or trailers and the front yard is huge and well landscaped with interesting plantings. The economy in the Titusville area has been affected by the downsizing of the Kennedy Space Center and aerospace industry. There is a movie theater and an antique mall that we didn't have a chance to visit. The waterfront is well maintained with lots of parks. The beach and wildlife refuge are nearby and worth the trip, especially if you are not from Florida. The downtown area is "up and coming" and perhaps in the future we will have time to explore. We drove to Mims, a short drive on US 1/Washington, where there are a few non fast food restaurants and found a wonderful barbeque place called Louis'. If you need a place to watch any launch this is it! It's directly across the river from the vehicle assembly building. If you can use the stairs, pick the apartment over the bungalow, just for privacy, the patio and view. We do look forward to another stay.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This was my very first time booking a place to stay online and I had my own doubts and fears but I did not get disappointed. The apartment was perfect. Big enough to be very comfortable and small enough to be homey. It is very clean and the beds were comfortable. Kitchen is fully equipped for easy meal preparation. Brandy the owner was very kind and helpful in pointing us to local attraction and places to see and go to. The dock is long and I would sit there for hours in the early mornings and watch dolphins and manatees play. The house is located on a fenced and gated property which made us even more comfortable and feel safe/secure. I highly recommend this place if you are visiting the Kennedy space center or other attractions. The place is close to amenities and even a health food store is in walking distance.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We have vacationed in Florida for the past six years but this was the best yet. From the moment we arrived we felt we were at home. The rental was fantastic. Beautifully fitted kitchen, comfortably furnished lounge and bedroom with plenty of storage space. The guest house is perfect for people with mobility problems. Brandy and Craig made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and Brad was a perfect fishing guide. Fifteen minutes drive from fantastic beaches and fifteen paces from fantastic fishing. Definitely a place to stay again. In fact we've already booked for November and cant wait to get back there.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

While planning our family vacation via the internet, I specically looked for a place on the Indian River so my husband, who was born and raised in Merritt Island, Fla. and I could be close to our favorite fishing spots and it would be easy to visit friends and family. This retreat simply looked too good to be true . It was all true! We opted to stay in Brandy & Craig's guesthouse which was very roomy and fully functional with everything we needed. The view was spectacular and the playground area was perfect for when our Grandchildren visited. Brad, Brandy and Craig's son, was very helpful with knowing what the fish were biting on and when and our Grandchildren made fast friends with their youngest son, Jerrod. This retreat is very family oriented and the owners are an absolute joy. We will definitely be returning to this perfect destination! A quiet retreat in a beautiful place that invites relaxation. The situation here was just right. I could enjoy the outdoors with a view of the river and count on peace and quiet, always. The hosts are attentive, yet respectful of privacy. I hope to return.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Wir waren in Disney World, Sea World, Cape Canaveral und Gatorland. Did you find this review helpful? When we first arrived it was quite late in the evening so we had to wait to the following daybreak to see what would greet us for the rest of our stay and we were not disappointed at all, the view is beautiful as you look out across the Indian river in all directions, the wildlife is amazing as you watch the Mullett jump out of the river, we also saw local Herons, Egrets and Osprey and even Horseshoe Crabs and if you walk to the end of the boatdock and you time it right in the morning you can see the Dolphins swimming almost so close you can almost reach out and touch them. Locally there is a ATM next door and the Village inn is within walking distance and the food is lovely there I myself enjoyed the Ultimate skillet with a lovely glass of Blackberry limeade and dont forget Pie rush Wednesday, plus locally there is Paul`s Smokehouse, Steves Diner, Dogs r us and yes even a McDonalds plus plenty of local stores. We loved every minute here and Brandy was friendly and most helpful, the accommodation was clean and well set up plus the beds were very comfy. The apartment is also set well away from the road and is also gated so all you have to do is enjoy the privacy it gives you and find your favourite spot and relax! We primarily came to Titusville for the Last Shuttle launch and found much much more, you have the Astronaut walk of fame and the Museum on Main street which is dedicated to the Capes history is worth visiting, the Valient warbird museum is fantastic too with lots of vintage aircraft to see and of course not forgetting the Kennedy Space center, the Astronaut hall of Fame and the Police hall of fame is not far too either and if you get chance and have a love of the Space program drive down to the Cape Canaveral air force museum it is very much worth visiting. Nevertheless this was a perfect holiday with the perfect settings and im not sure when we will return to Florida but when we do return it will almost certainly be to South Washington Avenue and on behalf of all of us we would love to thank the Lashley family for such wonderful hospitality.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We watched the dolphins chase fish in the morning as they swim so close by the dock, you could have touched them... Great sunset skies in blue and pink during dinner on the patio. Don't let the view from the street mislead you. The secret to this place, is the unexpected closeness to the quiteness and beauty of the river. We had a lovely time. Besides this, Brandy is a great host. Everything is there and spotless clean. Oh, and there are fishing-rods inside to use, which is very tempting since the fish just jump out of the water here!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The rooms were very clean and the host were terrific....but the best part is the view... the perfect spot to watch the shuttle launch, dolphins near the dock every morning that we were there. we had to travel to see the manatee........but Brandy gave exact directions so that we could see them. they were very accomodating and we had a terrific time. we spent a lot of time on the balcony and the dock.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

From the moment we stepped foot on the property, Brandy went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. This was our first experiance with renting from an "online ad". The property was beautiful, the rental unit was clean, and well maintained. In fact the only suggestion I could give to our hosts was that we could have used a night light (as we were not familar with the layout of the unit). This was an awesome vacation with the greatest of locations. You can see the NASA assembly building from the yard. I enjoyed our vacation so much that I will be e-mailing Brandy later in the week for another visit in July.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our stay at this retreat was wonderful! Everything that is described here is exact! If you have 2 to 4 people it is the perfect set up. The beautiful view of the Indian River is breath-taking! The entire place was very clean from room to room. Brandy is an exceptional host. She was available for any question we had and the entire place is beaming with hospitality. I would highly reccommend this to anyone visiting the Titusville area. We spent most of our week at the softball field so we were not out to a lot of attractions. We did have a team dinner at Fish Lips Waterfront Grill in Cape Canaveral and I was really not impressed. Dixie Crossroads in good but pricey and Corky Bells is very good. We look forward to returning to this retreat at a future time.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Had a wonderful time! Pictures are very accurate and everything was just as advertised. Craig and Brandy are awesome hosts! Very friendly and informative, made us feel right at home. Everything was neat and clean. We came to Titusville for a Softball camp with our daughter at Chain of Lakes and location to her hotel and ball park was wonderful. Great centralized location to everything; made several trips to Cocoa Beach and was just 39 miles to Universal at Orlando. Must eat at Dixie Crossroads just 8 miles down the road. Wonderful food! I would recommend this property and location to anyone, you won't be disappointed!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Great accommodations for a visit to the Space Coast, location was ideal for our visits to Kennedy Space Centre, the Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge and the fabulous beaches along the east side of the island. For the space aficionado you can't beat having your barbequed meal on the large deck as the sun sets and the lights from the space centre silhouette the shuttle launch pad. We found the accommodations clean, quiet, and very comfortable for a group of four adults. The hosts, Brandy and Craig are terrific, very knowledgeable and readily available to assist with any questions or requests. We would highly recommend this accommodation and plan on returning ourselves.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing.

I spent a week here waking up to the gorgeous sunrise in the Indian River. The location is a short drive to Orlando for Disney, Universal and other attractions, or an even shorter trip to the beaches and Space Center. The rooms are spacious and clean, the patio is great for having a relaxing evening watching the water and enjoying a BBQ dinner or drinks. The area is quiet and the hosts are wonderful.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
