We were a group of friends, and the property was great for us. The house is very spacious, and the large grounds are great. It's very clean, and they were incredibly accommodating or everything we needed. The kitchen is excellent, with plenty of oven and burner space. A few things that are useful to know: cell phones work but reception can be spotty. I would highly recommend this home for small & large families and groups gatherings. Your home is just delightful... in oh so many ways. The extra large beds were extremely comfortable with marvelously fresh clean linens. Your kitchen was wonderfully stocked for all our cooking needs, your sound systems worked out perfectly for our worship time and the view through the many glass doors and windows was just lovely. We were met with your very sweet and extremely helpful caretaker who saw to our every need...we certainly were made to feel at home. We had a very restful, spirit filled and enjoyable time. Thank you for sharing your charming home with us, it was a great blessing and joy-filled time.Recommended for: People with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Amazing! We had a great time. It was twenty of us including eight children. Moose Lake Ranch is a fabulous property. We went all the way from Miami, FL in the middle of February seeking snow for the kids to play. Arrived two days after the huge snow storm on February 14th! We had no problems at all with the driveway. Yes it is long, it is made out of dirt, it gets snow, and it could get some ice; but keep in mind you are in New England during the winter, a 4x4 is a must have. Nonetheless, the private road leading to the property was kept snow free, even after 6 inches came down overnight during out stay. The property manager stayed in touch with us to make sure that all was great and to ensure us that the road would be cleaned after the snowfall. The property itself is very well kept and great for large groups. The front yard with its hills provides a perfect supervised environment for the little - and no so little - to sled and play on the snow. The property is truly as nice as it looks on the pictures!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This place was incredible. There was more space then we knew what to do with, which was a great experience. It was a guys getaway weekend and nobody had any complaints basking in the lap of luxury for a weekend. Furthermore, the owners were nice enough to work with me and allowed us to rent the home for 2 nights instead of 3, which was very helpful and much appreciated because nailing down a weekend that a group of professionals could find in common was quite an ordeal. Finally, the caretaker was terrific. She was very friendly and showed me the ropes to the place very efficiently. My Family has had the very fortunate opportunity of staying at MLR more than once. Each time we go back it is just as wonderful as we remember. It's a beautiful home with an incredible amount of amenities to keep you and your family as busy as you want it to be. On the other hand, with the secluded environment and cozy atmosphere you can simply just relax. Gorgeous! Had my wedding there and the owners, caretaker were so friendly and allowed me to have the freedom to have the wedding of my dreams! A bunch of my friends saw my pictures on Facebook and want to plan their weddings there as well, I highly recommended it! We had a great time at Moose Lake Ranch. There was so much for everyone to do. The kids and adults were all busy and happy the entire stay. If we had an any problems they were taken care of right away. The listing was accurate and the house totally met our expectations and more. The only thing I wasn't too happy about was the cleanliness of the house. The floors were not really all that clean, the furniture needed dusting and the guest of honor discovered sheets that had not been changed and a bath that hadn't been cleaned. Kind of a bummer since we were celebrating their anniversary! When I spoke to the manager about it she was mortified and very apologetic. The people before us did the cleaning and obviously didn't do it well. Would we stay again? Absolutely! We all agreed that we are looking for a special occasion for next year all ready. I would definitely recommend it too anyone else and I hope that we can visit again!Owner response: We are so happy that you have been able to create cherished memories with your loved ones. We spent two nights at Moose Lake Ranch and it was tremendous. The facility is outstanding. Lots of room for our party (numbered 12-14) and we cooked up a storm in the kitchen and utilized the outdoor grille. The weather caused the road to the camp to be a mess. We had 4 wheel drive vehicles and didn't have any problems but those without 4 wheel had to leave cars at the top of the drive and be picked up. I suspect if it wasn't so warm we might not have had that difficulty. We will most likely return next year as the facilities more than made up for the road conditions.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had a wonderful time in this one of a kind beautiful log home that the owners have put so much thought and consideration into. We loved the Hot Tub, the spacious game room, theatre and gym. Most of our time was spent in the kitchen and the living room cooking and enjoying the company of each other where the open floor plan was perfect. One of my favorite details as an architect were the stained tree trunks serving as columns. The bedrooms were spacious, with comfortable bedding, heated floors in the bathrooms and even surround sound in some.
