  Though we live and work in Coeur d'Alene it is always nice to get away from it all. Our time on Cousins Cove was a welcome get-a-away in our own backyard. The view from the large deck is amazing and a reminder of what a special place Lake Coeur d'Alene truly is. The cove and beach provide a private oasis on calm waters. The sandy beach is a pleasant and unique layout you rarely see on lake front property, most enjoyable. From visiting with friends on the deck and admiring the breath taking view to relaxing on the beach at night, by the fire, under the stars our stay at Cousins Cove was outright fun! We're looking forward to another visit!

  We have stayed many times and have enjoyed so much... we can't wait until the next time!! Being able to boat in makes the fun and relaxation truly start the minute you get on the water and it provides a wonderful feeling of privacy and exclusivity at the cabin. We have spent hours upon hours on the deck overlooking the water and watching the stars, drinking wine and visiting with our friends. The main room, with it's huge lake facing windows makes it a great place for us to gather to play games, visit and prepare meals. This is truly one of the best properties we have found to rent at the lake; it's close to town yet feels so private and overlooks it's huge beach and cove. Love it, love it, love it. Can't wait to visit again!

  My family (there were five of us) spent a week out at the cabin a few years ago and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. It was great getting away from the hectic work schedule life and just kick back and enjoy nature with such nice accomodations in a private and quiet setting. We especially liked that the bedroom areas were totally private - attached but separate plus the great room was special since we could all get together for family meals, games, etc. Having to access the cottage only be boat made for a thrilling experience especially for the kids who lived on the water the whole time we were there - from fishing from a kayak to jet skiing to boating for fun there was just so much to do. We plan to make another trip to Couer d' Alene and will definitely be staying there again. One should have no hesitation at all in booking a reservation with the hosts who were gracious and great to deal with and who made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

  We have a family of six and have stayed at the cabin several times for family vacation. We have always had the most amazing time! Between the sandy beach, the awesome water, the great fishing, the crayfish diving and the family bonding, we have made some awesome family memories! Fun times inventing new s'more recipes around the fire pit, after watching beautiful sunsets top my list! Why go anywhere else in the summer when you can stay at Cousin Cove?! The cabin is cozy yet accommodating, equipped for many people with everything you will ever need. I would highly encourage any family to stay at the cabin for a quick getaway or frankly, for the entire summer!

  We spent 9 days at this lake retreat in 2010 with another family....it worked wonderfully! This is so ideal for two families to use and have privacy b/c of the way the suites are set up on either side of the cabin, yet still come together and completely enjoy company in the great room and AMAZING deck! The cabin and beach area were awesome for little children (we had 4 ranging in ages from 3-6). The double slip also worked perfectly for both families to bring their boats and be able to do things together or on their own. It was one of the BEST family vacation we have taken and being locals it was so nice to just stay right here in town! We're definately booking again in 2011!
