Just a stone's throw from the village of Blowing Rock, the crown jewel of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this exquisite, three-bedroom, two-and-one-half bath cabin provides a relaxing atmosphere for up to eight guests.
The spacious dining area and gourmet kitchen lead into the open great room with wood-burning stone fireplace that adds a cozy touch on those chilly evenings.
The blue-gray of early morning gives way to the color of the valley as the sun creeps over the horizon. Large windows and private decks offer spectacular views.
The great room has numerous books and magazines for all interests, games for adults and children, puzzles, checker table, cards, poker chips, WiFi (Wireless Internet), a CD music system and selection of CDs, VCR/DVD including movies, satellite TV with over 30-movie channels and the NFL package.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed, en suite bath, spectacular gas log stone fireplace, and a mountain view. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, shared bath, and a mountain view. The third bedroom has a queen-size bed, shared bath and a forest view. The great room has a queen-size sleeper sofa.
Gourmet kitchen with breakfast bar is fully stocked and includes pots and pans, a blender, crock pot, hand mixer, toaster, griddle, kettle, coffee maker and bean grinder, two sets of dishes (stoneware and plastic), regular and plastic glasses, highball, wine, martini and champagne glasses, cookbooks and all utensils. Appliances include a dishwasher, electric range and oven, microwave, and refrigerator with ice maker.
Laundry area includes washer, dryer, steam iron, and ironing board.
There are extra linens, pillows, towels, and blankets in each bedroom. Each of the bathrooms is equipped with a hair dryer.
There are badminton, volleyball, and horseshoe sets available for outdoor sports. The back deck has a charcoal grill, a large picnic table, and several rocking and Adirondack chairs. The view is stunning and the birds and wildlife are abundant, so do not forget your binoculars and camera.
The covered front porch has rocking chairs and overlooks the landscaped yard.
