  We've just returned from a wonderful stay at the Pyramid Point property. We rented both the Reef House and the Taramind House and both were perfect for our needs. We especially loved the large screen porch at the Reef House, where we spent most mornings and evenings, having meals, listening to the ocean, and watching the sun set. The grounds are idyllic, and the pool has the most extraordinary view out over the point. St. Croix was a very relaxing island get away. It is true that the island is quieter than most but it suited our needs well. Our kids loved the snorkeling on Shoy's Beach, right next to the house, and we also took in some more at Cane Bay. We enjoyed a lovely meal at the Galleon Restaurant down the road and explored the entire island in our 5 days there. We made several trips to Schooner's Market as it as close by and we could replenish our needs well there (after one stop to the bigger markets). I highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a self-catering situation and pure relaxation in a beautiful surrounding.

  We had a wonderful time on St. Croix and enjoyed staying at Pyramid Point. It is an excellent location on the island very convenient to all activities, while affording a relaxing retreat. Very convenient to beautiful Shoys beach a great place to swim, while very private and we enjoyed dining at the local Bucaneer and Tamarind Reef restaurants. Pyramid point itself is beautiful, architechurally, as well as providing a unique island setting on a prominent point. Next time we would stay in the main house if available, as the views from there are stunning. Congratulation Svit and thanks for a hassle free stay.

  Our family of 12 with a couple of small dogs had a fabulous week at this gorgeous property. It was perfect for our family and let everyone have their own space. The housekeeper, Milagro was wonderful and the pool and views were breathtaking. You do need a car to get around to various restaurants and activities. Great vacation!

  I have pondered this review for days. That's because I find it difficult to adequately describe the joy our family found during our stay at Pyramid Point or to accurately depict its beauty! From the moment we drove through the steel, secured gate to the time we left for the airport, we were surrounded by beauty never before seen, serenity, and the awesome roar of the sea! Photos of the property accurately reflect the site but could never truly exemplify its exquisite beauty. Once onsite, it is near impossible, even for a minute, to sit still because you feel compelled to breath in every gorgeous aspect of the property. We were overjoyed to find that the estate was even more beautiful than we had expected. Our family (14 of us) traveled to St. Croix for the wedding of a niece. Plans for the wedding had long been finalized and none of us expected what happened moments after we arrived at Pyramid Point. Suffice it to say, within minutes after seeing Pyramid Point, the bride and groom (who were staying elsewhere on the island) knew that they had to exchange their vows there, rather than the venue they had previously selected. The owners (Svitlana and George) worked with us to make it happen. They simply could not have been any more accommodating. And so, on 2 days notice, with their cooperation, a wedding with 75 guests took place. It was the most beautiful weddings any of us had ever witnessed. The site is absolutely perfect for anything (even simply relaxing by the pool) and is ideal for weddings. Our wedding concluded with a fly over by four synchronized planes, fireworks, and a parade of nighttime boats clothed in lights---signs we took as blessings for the newlyweds, since none of these were planned by us! We retained the entire compound comprised of the main villa and three other cottages (I can't imagine that the Kennedy Compound at Hyannis Port nor the Bushes' Kennebunkport site could be any more beautiful or grand). The site allowed us to work, play, laugh, love, and pray as a family...total peace, with everyone on one accord! Kudos to Pyramid Point for making it all possible! We will see you next year as we long to again bathe in your beauty, hear the waves, and have the opportunity to do some of the things Svitlana recommended to us. We can hardly wait! Kudos to Jillisa for taking care of us during our stay and for assisting us with other matters! Recommendation: See Pyramid Point...you will be glad you did!

  What is not to love about this breathtaking location. Pyramid Point is exactly as described. The houses and grounds are beautiful. We stayed in Tamirand House and it was perfect for us. The views are spectacular regardless of which house you choose. The owners were easy to work with and offered helpful information for us first-timers.If you don't care for the all-inclusive or resort crowds then Pryamid Point is definitely the location for you as it is serenity at it's best. We spent alot of our time there by the pool because the scenery there is breathtaking.A few shout outs to the Housekeeper who is great! Shout outs to Captain Ed Buckley(S.C.U.B.A.) and his crew for the wedding ceremony and for all the additional help we needed,and a great poolside massage from Beach Massage and Bodyworks Delivered(Terry and Michael) and a great trip to Buck Island with Capt Carl( Buck Island Charters). I would definitley recommend Pryamid Point to anyone visiting St. Croix.

  Pyramid Point provides tremendous waterfront views of Carribbean water including a pool that overlooks the water. Accomodations are spacious and include everything we could have needed. The location is very private yet with fairly quick access to town. We loved being able to snorkel in multiple locations with just our family and see beauty we had never seen before. We visited the shores of a couple of nearby islands and did even more swimming and snorkeling.The person responsible for cleaning was not only helpful, she was also very personable and prepared a fresh lobster dinner!! We could not imagine the maintenance for such an exotic architecture in a beach environment but our entire group was was very appreciative and quick to identify this as our best family vacation ever. We can only hope we get the opportunity to return. l

  My husband and I loved the property and the views! We stayed in the main house. A nice uncrowned beach is within a five minute walk. Sunrise and sunset views are beautiful as well views to Buck and Green Island. Sounds of waves breaking all around and lounging by the pool was so relaxing. The accommodations are very nice, fully stocked kitchen, all of the rooms were clean. Milagro and her daughter treated us so nicely, they picked us up from the airport and took us grocery shopping. They even made us the biggest lobster dinner we had ever seen, taking extra care to make it as romantic as possible! We ate at several local restaurants and enjoyed them; loved the lobster quesadilla at Rum Runners, the veggie burger at Paradise Cafe, smoothies at Lalita, the bread and fish fajitas at Savant, pad Thai at Galangal, Greek salad, pizza, and Mahi with capers, lemon sauce, and potatoes at Pickled Greek plus their homemade ice cream! There are plenty of choices. For the house you will need groceries and all condiments including basics, salt, pepper, and sugar. There were cleaning supplies. Nice linens and comfy beds. Bug spray and suntan lotion are a must on the island. Local brochures have coupons for a rental car that you will need to get to town. Thank you for letting us enjoy this beautiful piece of St. Croix!

  Our family had the honor of staying in the main house of Pyramid Point. Daily we would sit in amazement that God with bless us with the priviledge of staying in such an incredible home with the most awesome views you could ever imagine. The pictures do not even begin to tell the story of how beautiful it really is. We followed the sun from one patio for sunrise to another for sunset. There are views of the ever changing blue/green water in every direction you look. The housekeeper immediately took care of any concerns or issues that arose.There is really almost no reason to ever leave the property. We took advantage of the huge kitchen and the outdoor grill...be prepared for the high cost of food whether eating out or buying groceries...remember it is an island. The beaches surrounding the house are great for swimming and snorkeling. and kayaking. The owners are great to work with and give very helpful ideas and suggestions. Now we can just close our eyes and imagine ourselves back in a lounge chair by the pool, listening to the waves and taking in the beautiful sunshine. This is a great property for a family reunion, a wedding, or both large and small groups. We are already planning our return visit to the Pyramid House....we only wish it could be sooner! I promise you won't regret staying at this property....it really is a piece of heaven on earth

• THE place to stay on St. Croix

  There are plenty of places to stay when visiting St. Croix, but as far as my wife and I are concerned, after our week of vacation for our 9th anniversary, Pyramid Point is really the only option. We were after sun, sand and privacy and we got all three. Right on Shoy's Beach, this property is absolutely gorgeous. There are several "units" to rent within the property's privacy gates. My wife and I stayed at Shoy's Beach House, a 2 bedroom detached home within a few yards of a private gate that led right down to a beautiful stretch of beach that, while not vacant, was never being enjoyed by more than a few families, offering plenty of seclusion and privacy. Just a short drive away is Christiansted, with plenty of options for sightseeing, adventure and dining. We wandered all over St. Croix most days of our stay but even for the few lazy days we spent at the property, we had plenty to do. Since the property sits on a point, there are two very distinct sides. The afore-mentioned beach side for those seeking sun and sand and the more rocky side where we had a wonderful snorkeling experience. Using the snorkel gear provided by the property, my wife and I began on the rocky side and snorkeled around the entire point, landing on the beach. One of the highlights of our entire trip was the 50 yards or so where we were joined by two sea turtles. The service was perhaps the shining star of our stay at Pyramid Point. We originally booked the Tamarind House, a freestanding, quaint studio that was closer to our budget and would have given us plenty of space for our needs. About a week before we left, we were offered a free upgrade to the Beach House, which we quickly accepted. When we experienced a problem with connecting to the internet, the property owner arranged a service call to get it quickly resolved. For a week we lived like kings in our beachfront home, reveling in all the jealousy we'd receive when we got home and showed everyone our pictures. For those like us, who are after a Caribbean beach experience that surpasses being a number in a hotel, Pyramid Point will not disappoint.

  My fiance and I just came back from a wonderful 3 night stay at Pyramid Point. We stayed at The Tamarind House, the studio villa. It has a perfect touch of simple, stylish and beachy feel, filled with relaxing sounds and views of both the ocean and the luscious gardens, bringing outside in throughout the house. We were at the estate all alone, making it feel like a paradise - all to ourselves. For the most part we spent our time by the pool area, living and breathing in the stunning water views. Shoys Beach is easily accesible from the property, which was perfect for simply enjoying the beach, mostly deserted, or for long romantic sunset walks. This stay was a complete highlight of our Carribean trip, making it really hard to leave. We loved everything about the property and dearly enjoyed the breathtaking views and tranquil setting. It was great dealing with the owner and housekeeping staff. We inquired about the stay only few days in advance and the owner made it happen, even from overseas, accomodating us last minute.  We would love to come back in the future!   Our trip back wasn't as smooth, with three hour delay out of San Juan, our connecting point, but we were so relaxed that it didn't even really matter.
