Venture into an historic Hamptons waterfront property with character, on Quantuck Bay, Quiogue. Airy summer home built in 1900. “Shabby chic" feel to the house with a lot of funky antique furniture. Original pale plaster walls, some with dents from the Hurricane of 1938. We love it - can you? Make sure to visit our website listed below for many more photos.

Large porch, five bedrooms upstairs, plus a den/bedroom right off the living room, with a queen bed and toilet. Three bathrooms: two upstairs, each with original (and useable) claw-foot tubs, and third, with rustic shower, in separate building right off the kitchen (originally the laundry and still has old laundry sinks).

Comfortable dining room with table that seats 4 -8. Open porch dining available. Old fashioned kitchen, with original kitchen sink, no dishwasher. New stove, new refrigerator/freezer. Small table and chairs in kitchen. Closets/Pantries house cooking supplies and dishes. Cooking utensils, tableware, linens and towels provided. Pet-friendly.

We're looking for the right family or group of mature adults to stay in our beloved family summer home.

  • Our location right on Quantuck Bay means you can reach nearby Quogue Wildlife Refuge (also great for hikes) via our two kayaks. Ocean swimming at life-guarded beach at Tijuana Beach several miles down Dune Road. Closer ocean swimming available in Westhampton Beach for "seasonal renter" fee, if pre-arranged. Right next door to us is Quantuck Bay bridge, a famed fishing and crabbing spot. Golf Courses nearby, as are public free tennis courts. Miniature golf, Amusement Parks, Ocean Fishing, Shopping, Restaurants, Cinemas, Museums, Sightseeing. An easy 5 minute drive to Westhampton restaurants and shopping. Southampton is 20 minutes away by car.

Rates include all utilities, free telephone within USA.
We ask for a $500 deposit to hold our home for the week.
We ask for a $3000 payment by June 24.
And the second $2000 after the first day.
The $500 deposit will be refunded at the end of the week, after a joint inspection
Arrival date can be Sat. July 8, any time.
