Our cozy secluded “Pet Friendly” 2 bedroom home is located in the Galena Territory near the Shenandoah Horseback Riding Center. Our home offers Valley views from the front and wooded views from the back. Our home sits nestled among trees providing the tranquility you desire on your vacation getaway.
Wildlife lives in our woods sometimes deer are seen in our front lawn.
The main area of our home has a living dining room combination, fully stocked full kitchen, master bedroom and bath, second bedroom, wood burning fireplace and a talking moose head. Master bedroom has a queen size bed. The second bedroom has two twin beds pushed together making one large bed.
Our downstairs den has a queen size bed, free laundry area with full size washer and dryer and a shower stall; there also is a separate half bath.
We also have a one car attached garage.
We provide linens, soap and shampoo.

Hi, just wanted to thank you for the nice experience at your house last weekend! My husband and I had a very nice time. The weather was a bit colder and snowier then we expected but the house was warm and cozy and we had no trouble finding it. Our dogs had a nice time watching the deer outside and laying in front of the fireplace. Thank you so much for allowing dogs! So many place don't allow dogs or only allow small dogs and they lose so much business. We really appreciate the smooth transaction and clear communication. The amenities are great. The kitchen has everything in case you should forget something. We watched the deer charging through the valley in the morning. It's just a short car ride to Galena where we ate at a French cafe, shopped and had spa treatments. We couldn't have asked for better accommodations at this price. Thanks so much.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We have a lot of trees behind our home full of wildlife so you do need to be cautious. If you bring your dog you might not see deer as the deer can sense a dog. Thank you for staying with us.

A few friends and us stayed at this home for two nights on the weekend and had a great time. Buck the deer gave us many laughs. The house had everything we needed and was very clean. Only about 10 minutes outside of downtown Galena. Only thing I would recommend is to have some salt handy for the driveway when it is icy. This weekend in particular there it was and icy rain. Myself and another individual who stayed fell on the ice and slide all the way to the bottom into the road, my bottom is still bruised:-( Very slippery so be careful. But other than that we had a GREAT time and recommend if you are looking for a little getaway!!! Thanks again we had such a fun time with many fun memories:-)Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, age 55+.
Owner response: Our driveway is steep and can be a challange during inclement weather. We do however use a snow removal service. Our friend Buck the deer is very playful should you choose to play along with him.

Sledding,relaxing by the fire and listening to the wildlife. Very secluded private home nice to bring your dog with. We will be back.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners.
