  I've been visiting this area for years and rented different homes each time. This home is by far the most beautiful, well equiped and well maintained property. Everything in this home is of the finest quality. The owners did not cut corners in the construction and the decorating/furnishings of this home. This home offered everything you need to enjoy this beautiful area. Bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, beach toys...the list is too long! Please read the amenities, the list is better than any amenities list I had ever seen. The owner is wonderful. I had a lot of questions and all my questions were answered within minutes. I would recommend this home to anyone who wants to feel comfortable and relaxed while vacationing. The community is safe, clean, friendly and beautiful!

  First, the house is phenomenal. Open and airy, the tower provides plenty of light to make the interior shine during the day. The bedrooms are plenty big. The master in particular is comfortable. Our weather was a bit chilly, but when things warmed up, the porches and decks add a dimension to the house that makes it extremely roomy. Second, location was perfect for us. Quiet and away from any hustle and bustle, you can easily access the beach, pool, Rosemary or Seaside in minutes with bike (beach, pool) or car (Rosemary, Seaside). The bikes and trailers provided for the home were in fine working condition and we used them frequently. We also biked into Rosemary Beach, enjoyed lunch and returned. Third, the beach and pool were exceptional. We averaged cool temps, but the kids and I hit the heated pool nearly every day and the boardwalk to the beach is so pretty you will linger and enjoy it. Lastly, Tina was a gem. Questions were answered and information was provided to help make our vacation a special experience. She handled everything professionally and with great care to keep us happy. I highly recommend this property for those looking to enjoy the area with no worries.

  This house was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, very comfortable. Watersound West Beach is a great value, it's much more affordable than Watersound Beach (about 1 mile to the east), but the houses are just as nice (we've stayed at both). The only disadvantage is the walk to the beach is a little further (depends on where you're staying within the community, but we measured it and it's 0.6 miles from the middle of the community to the water's edge. The walk is very pleasant, though, quiet streets and the long boardwalk. You can also bike to the beach, which is very quick (you can't do that at Watersound). Speaking of bikes, the bikes included with the house were in great shape.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Everyone enjoys the focus on walking and biking in the serene community streets and boardwalks. The positive is that you don't have to cross 30A to get to the beach, boardwalk and the dune lake view is beautiful. Bikes and trailers make it an easy and quick ride straight down to the beach. And West Beach does not have stairs at the end of the boardwalk like some communities along 30A. Come and see for yourself!!

  We booked our stay to get away following Christmas and spend quiet time together, reading, biking, and walking the beach. What a fabulous choice..our time was spent doing just that...and more. We drank coffee on the beautiful back deck each morning listening to the breeze through the pines and saw grass. We rode bikes to Sea Side where we enjoyed lunch and walking through the quint shops. Late in the day walks to the beach to share the most breathtaking sunsets...each evening ended with the best nights sleep we,d had in quite some time. Of our many beach stays, this beach house exemplifies perfection, not only in the sense of decor, but more importantly the ease of and helpful planning by the property owner, Tina. Unlike some owners or agencies that can ruin a trip before arriving through unanswered calls, emails and of course the unknown prior to arriving. Tina was so very sincere when we dealt with her on making reservations, she always answered our calls and emails sharing in our excitement and making sure we hadn't overlooked anything. She was so knowledgeable when we asked for information on the area, and her recommendations for dinning....was spot on. We arrived late in the afternoon... stepping from the car to the house, i knew we had made the right choice...smell of the sea breeze and pines, to the chairs on the front porch....we stopped to take it all in. Decorated interior is beachy, warm and comfortable. We enjoyed all the little things around the house that made us feel welcome. I certainly am a fan of sleep comfort beds now, every bed in the house has sleep comfort, with the highest quality pillows and linens....hard to get out of bed in the morning. The kitchen is so well equipped too, all the utensils you could possibly need, and loved the coffee grinder and brewer.The showers....we loved the showers, so BIG....and the endless hot water.. We cant say enough about our stay, it was everything we had planned for. We found rest and relaxation at this gorgeous beach house in a fabulous community with an owner that understands what her visitors want. simply said....a perfect stay.

  Great house, great place and great beach. This house has everything and more. Sit down relax and let time peacefully go by. You can't go wrong because this house comes with all the extras needed to enjoy the beach and all the fun Watersound has to offer. Fun Fun Fun until daddy takes the T-bird away.

  Our family highly recommends this beach home. The owner has provided everything to the very last detail. All you need to bring is your food and beach wear. It is located inside a gated community at the the end of a cul-de-sac and adjacent to a green belt with tall whispering pines. We enjoyed all three porches which were great places for a cup of coffee each morning with time to relax and forget about everything. The upscale community is quiet, secure and provides a great escape from the heavy pedestrian traffic in nearby Seaside and Rosemary beaches. The interior was updated with all the amenities you would expect. We enjoyed the large master bedroom, Sleep Number beds, private overlook porch and large master shower with rain drop head. It was nice to watch the morning news from the master bathroom as you got ready for the day although we disconnected ourselves from the world for a week. The gourmet kitchen was a great place to prepare meals. We used the large serving pitcher and filled it with strawberry lemonade for the family to enjoy. If you like a gourmet beach kitchen, look no further. The owner spared no expense on this kitchen. The entire interior was new and professional. We felt right at home. The beach access is not too far and is very secluded. Since it is adjacent to a State park and nearby Deer Lake, you almost have the beach to yourself. There are paved streets and lighted boardwalks all the way to the edge of the dunes. Access to the beach is very easy. We loaded the small trailer with beach gear and hitched it to our bike each day. The rest of the family rode their bicycles along with us to end of the board. We appreciated all the well planned details, information welcome book with instructions, lock box and all the fine amenities the owner provided including bicycles, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, three beach umbrellas and all the sand toys. You also have an outside shower to rinse off the sand before you go back inside. We have rented many beaches houses in our 20 years of vacations to Florida and without a doubt, this one was the top. The owner did not forget anything and was always accessible to help make our vacation a success. We would give this beach home the highest of ratings.

  This house is all that the listing states and more. We found it to be super clean, spacious, and beautifully appointed. The pictures are all up-to-date. Additionally, the owners were always super responsive to our needs - both before and during the trip. And that's not all - the neighborhood is an absolute gem for anyone looking for real peace and quiet for their beach vacation. It was mid-June and we almost had the pool, beach, and puttering park all to ourselves!!! We loved it and will definitely consider it for return trips to the area.

  We had a great time in this wonderful house. It is new and is in a great location to the ocean and to the pool. There is construction going on, but it is not a bother to families. We were so happy we chose this location, as it was spring break and Seaside and the other beaches were packed with spring breakers. Water Sound West is so quiet and the beach is not crowded at all. Tina was so gracious and was available for any advise. It was especially nice to have all the bikes, and beach toys available for our use. A must for families with little ones and big ones alike! Thanks Tina.

  Our family had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. Everything is brand new and the home is beautifully decorated. The property is very clean and everything we needed for the week was there. We really enjoyed the screened in porch off the back and the porch upstairs off the master bedroom. We made use of the bikes and rode them around the neighborhood and to the beach and pool every day. The owner also provides for clubs and golf balls for the puttering park, which was fun. The community pool is pretty, clean and has some shade if the day is hot. The beach is beautiful, clean and uncrowded. There is some construction going on, but it didn't bother us too much. The owner is very easy to works with and we would love to come back some time.

  Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. This house and location were everything we had hoped for and more. The house itself was beautiful, clean and well maintained. The layout was comfortable and relaxed, It felt like home. My wife loved the kitchen and we used it almost everynight to cook locally caught fresh seafood. It was also a nice feature to be on the end of the street where one side was next to a wooded area that made you feel like you were all alone in a wooded setting, knowing that you're still only minutes from the ocean. Everything we needed was at the house. We used the bicycles to get to the beach every evening to sit and relax, walk or simply watch the sunset. We were amazed at the dolphins, stingrays, fish and a variety of birds all very close and easy to see as we walked the beach. In fact, with the bicycles at our disposal, we rarely used our car and biked to Seaside and around the area instead. There is a fresh seafood market about 1/2 mile to the west (Goatfeathers) that we visited frequently for fresh shrimp and fish. The property location was very convenient, only a 20 minute drive to Destin if you are so inclined and Panama City Beach about the same to the east, but still private and quiet at the house. Although we didn't eat out a lot, we did enjoy Bud and Alley's at Seaside. Their sweet potato fries were excellent. Try dipping them in the basil tomato soup, fantastic. We also found a couple places in Destin on the beach where we enjoyed a lunch and evening meal. The Whale's Tail and the Crab Trap both offered a casual setting with good food and great views of the ocean. A key factor in being able to stay for the time we did was being able to work remotely. Again, the house more than exceeded our expectations. The broadband access was uninterrupted allowing me to work full days, just like working in the office. If you are looking for a comfortable, well appointed home, close to the beach and still with easy access to other areas of interest on the gulf coast, this is it. We hope to be back next year and have already spread the word to our friends and family. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

  Spent a long weekend in this home and absolutely loved every minute. It was our first time in Watersound West Beach but it will definitely not be our last! We really enjoyed getting to know this community. The walk to the beach is not far and has such a view from the boardwalk on the way. You are literally minutes from restaurants/shopping but still get that remote feeling once inside the community. Homeowners were great to work with, giving excellent instructions and detailed information about the home and area.

  We stayed at It's About Time the whole month of June during my sabbatical and it really became our home away from home. We actually miss it very much. The house is so cute and functional. I especially liked cooking in the kitchen and spent hours on the screened porch, especially each morning for my coffee and some quiet reading. My daughter loved her bedroom and had one bed for herself and one for her stuffed animals. She doesn't have a tv in her room so it was a nice treat. The appointments in this house are in all the right places. Perfect for families. Tina has thought of everything and is a complete pleasure!

  My family wanted to stay in the South Walton area because we love the beaches and the communities like Watercolor, Seaside, and Rosemary Beach. We just discovered Watersound and Watersound West with this trip and we're glad we did. This property in Watersound West is beautiful and the home is very nicely appointed and stocked with everything you could need. The owner was very nice and helpful.

  It's About Time has it all. There really wasn't anything missing that could have made our stay better. The home was beautiful, roomy, comfortable and felt like we were the first visitors. We really loved that this area was removed from all the commotion of WaterColor yet biking distance there. My husband and I biked one morning to WaterColor and the next to Alys Beach thanks to the 4 bikes provided. We also biked the kids with the carrier to the beach everyday or used the wagon. The bike/walk to the beach on the boardwalk was one of our favorite things to do-it was so peaceful and beautiful. This was actually the first vacation where I didn't want to go home. Tina was so helpful and responsive which made everything easy. We have stayed in Rosemary and the Magnolia condos but this was the favorite for all of us. Thank you Tina for sharing your beautiful home!

  After our long drive from Texas, it was such a thrill and pleasure to arrive at this gorgeous home we could call ours for a week! It was spotlessly clean and the decor inside was just beautiful. We had plenty of room to spread out and really took advantage of that built-in desk upstairs. The sleep number beds were WONDERFUL --i am now convinced i need one at home-- and we really appreciated having everything we needed provided for us (towels, chairs, umbrellas, toys, stroller, and everything you could imagine in the kitchen!). The neighborhood was beautiful and we loved riding our bikes down the dock to the beach--it felt like riding through a rain forest! The beach was pristine and basically ours alone, and the pool was huge and relaxing. We also loved all the greenspace around the house, in the neighborhood and near the beach-- it really had a more "natural" feel which was totally relaxing and a refreshing change from high-rise condos and rentals we've done in the past.   We couldn't have asked for anything more perfect for our family vacation than the "It's About Time" home we stayed in last week, The house was roomy, clean, beautifully decorated, and located in a quiet setting. My family especially enjoyed the outside decks, television in every bedroom, and quick drive to either Panama City Beach or the shops of Seaside. The high point of our trip, however, was the beach. We spent hours everyday taking in the sounds and beauty of the gulf. Even now if I close my eyes, I can still feel the warm sand beneath my feet and hear the waves coming to shore. Our trip to Watersound was by far one of our nicest family vacations, and I can honestly say that staying in the "It's About Time" home was a big part of it. We found the owners to be more that accommodating and hope to visit again sometime next year.

  We had a fabulous experience at this vacation home! Tina was wonderful to work with--quick to respond to questions and concerns. The house had everything we could possibly have needed. Immaculate and well furnished. Quick walk to the pool, and the beach was also close by. What a beautiful beach!! Easy drive to Seaside and Watercolor. Will definitely return!!
