  My family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids, 8 and 12 years old) had a really good time in this condo of San Juan del Sur). The view and the condo are exactly like the pictures on the website...the view is just better when you are there! All the commodities are there and perfect. Terry was a good guide when we arrived. The only downside is the distance of walk from downtown (about 20 minutes under the sun or at night)

There are two ways to walking into the town and that is along the beach or across the foot bridge. Some renters do it in slightly less time however I would definately recommend a taxi for a fare of $3 - $4 if it is after dark or if it is a really hot day. Hope to see you back again some day.

  What a perfect setting to enjoy all the area has to offer. Our family enjoyed every minute we were there. We had our vacation cut short due to a family emergency and Christine and Terry made sure that we could enjoy the precious moments we were there. The accommodations were first class and WHEN we go back we will be working it through Christine and Terry once again. Great central location to explore and in our case, surf and fish. Five stars!

  Excelente lugar. El apartamento está muy bien ubicado, es moderno, la decoración es linda, la vista desde el balcón es espectacular y tiene las comodidades necesarias para no extrañar la casa. La atención de Christinne fue muy buena, respondiendo inmediatamente a nuestros correos de manera muy amable.

  Just returned from 18 days in San Juan Del Sur. The condo was everything Christine had represented it to be. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and will return to San Juan Del Sur someday.

  The condo was amazing. Christine, the property manager was very helpful and answered all of my questions and concerns. I was a little nervous about booking something, but she gave me some references to call. The pictures of the property and it’s views, do not do it justice. The view from the balcony is amazing. After looking around the town and visiting the Pelican Eye resort for dinner, the view from this condo can’t be beat. We stayed with our two children and they loved playing in the ocean and pool. There are no restaurants nearby, but a 15-20 min. walk into town along the beach, will land you at several different restaurant choices. We ate at several restaurants including an Italian pizza place directly on the beach. It served yummy brick oven pizza and pastas and they will even deliver. El Timon had a good grilled chicken and seafood. My favorite place was a place on the beach that has “bay “ in its name, but I can’t remember the name. They are between the Bamboo restaurant (which smelled very good, but we ran out of time to try it), and El Timon. We ate two meals at the condo and ate one meal out every day. We also stopped for ice cream at Eskimo a couple of times. We had our driver, Oscar, take us to the grocery store Pali in town. So we had yogurt, pancakes, eggs, and toast for breakfast and grilled cheese, sandwiches, and spaghetti for lunch. If you are looking for a great place in San Juan Del Sur, this is the place.

Yes the views from the condo balcony is undescribable and the kitchen is fully equipped to cook a three course meal if you wish. The Eskimo ice-cream parlor is probably one of the most inexpensive parlors you will ever visit.   My wife and I had never been to SJDS and we rented this spacious 2BR/2BA unit and were delighted with the unit, the views, and the complex amenities. The infiniti pool literally sits meters above the crashing waves...one of our favorite spots to relax. While the Bay is nice, it wouldn't be my first choice for swimming or surfing. The best beaches are about a $10 - $15 cab ride away from the unit-- and well worth it. We spent 2 different days at Playa Hermosa...with tons of shaded huts, hammocks, and a little cantina serving food and beverages to please most. Restaurants and markets are very inexpensive and seafood is naturally fresh. Strongly recommend getting out of your "north american comfort zone" and trying some of the family owned restaurants cooking local cuisine. People are very friendly.

We agree that the bay at San Juan del Sur is a safe and secure beach with shallow waters and great for enjoying a morning or evening beach walk and that the better surf beaches are a short drive away. These beaches like Maderas and Playa Hermosa are excellent surfing beaches for the novice or experienced surfer.Your remarks about trying the local cuisine is what enhances the holiday experience.

  We make this Condo home for a week in March 2011 for Spring Break. The condos are brand new and the view of the bay is absolutely beautiful. The property is very well maintained and very secure. You can walk 10 minutes down the beach to get into town .. which is full of great restaurants and friendly people. We quickly became regulars at the Barrio Cafe for breakfast each morning. Be sure to try the authentic Italian Brick Oven baked pizza at the restaurant right down on the beach - its right next to the Blue Marlin (which was another of our favorites). I was a bit concerned that our 18 year old son who came along would get bored - but he loved this place too. He had always wanted to try surfing - and we found the guys at Mope surf shop great -- he was able to get board rental - a ride to a surf beach - and lesson at very reasonable $25. If you have your own board and don't need lesson - the round trip is only $5. There are a lot things to do in SJDS besides surfing - we also went deep sea fishing one day while we were there (the staff at the Blue Marlin prepared our catch for us for lunch). We ran out of time before we ran of things we wanted to do.. We are already talking about plans for our next trip. Christine and Joe were very helpful and made some recommendations that were spot on. I originally wanted to rent a car at the Managua airport and drive. Unless you have driven it before I would recommend a taxi for the 1st trip .. we didn't need a car once we got the SJDS, We could walk to town and taxi from town back is only a few dollars if we didn't want to walk. All of the restaurants took VISA and MC. Everyone there uses both the local currency (cordobas) or US dollars. There are also ATM'S in town that will let you choose either currency. .

  We stayed at this condo over new years holiday week and had a great time! The condo is new construction, immaculate inside, and makes for a nice home base. There's a lovely view of the ocean from the balcony and it's a short walk through a parking area to the pool area (which is pretty), that overlooks the beach in front of the facility. And it's just a 10-15 minute walk on the beach or on streets and over the small footbridge to "downtown" where all the action is. No restaurant or market is by the condo anything you need can be found in town. Due to the holiday it was noisy at night (the generator stayed on 24 hrs a day and the music thump from town could be heard all night) but once all the revelers left town it was a really peaceful stay. We enjoyed the bar restaurant Bambu and the pizza place on the beach was also surprisingly tasty. Big thumbs up for the place and Christine who assisted us in renting it was super responsive and great to work with.
