Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wynsome Run was perfect for our family. Great layout and lots of room. Also, not a lot of knick-knacks to hide from the kids. Nice size parking area made it easy to get in and out. Would definitely book there again.

    Rating Details: I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 1. The driveway was a mess. Even 4-wheel drive vehicles were getting stuck. We had to spend two hours of our vacation shoveling with the broken shovels that were provided. 2. The garbage from the previous renters was never picked up and sat on the front porch for the four days we were there. 3. The cleaning staff was supposed to leave by 4pm but weren't finished and had us sit in our car until 4:30pm. 4. The roof of the building leaked into the 3rd floor bedroom soaking the carpet and suitcases of the occupants and proceeded to leak into the 2nd floor master suite causing a constant dripping sound throughout the night.

Very close to the lake, pool table, foos ball table, hot tubs, tv's. Also plenty of room, we had 16 people and the house still felt spacious. Great place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Another great stay in Deep Creek. Loved the Lodge. Everything was spotless except for the carpet leading to the bottom level. It needs attention. We were unable to start the furnace fan and Taylor Rentals had someone there within minutes. He helped us and then brought us a needed piece of furniture. All eight of us agreed that the service from this company is absolutely the best, timely and courteous.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay at Deep Creek Lake and the home we rented was almost perfect. The only issues we had was that the Dishwasher on the Island leaked water when we used it. The other item that was upsetting was the home next to us had over 12 cars when we were only allowed to have 6 cars. The small coffee machine leaked water and the skillets were in very bad shape and needs to be replaced.

Reviewer Comments: location on the channel is very noisy due to truck and jet ski traffic, house was not that clean and the furnishings/carpets are very tired looking. i realize this is a rental, but it dos not appear to have been updated since it was built. the layout and amenities in the house are great. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wynsome Run is a great house for a family reunion. Lots of room, the kitchen is super with two refrigerators and dishwashers (key with a large group). The decks were nice to hang out on and the many bedrooms ensured we all had our own space. The steps to the dock were more than we anticipated but not too much for the older people in our group. I would recommend the owners create a graphic chart of the jet knobs on the hot tub so we would know what they did. There was a small amount of road noise from the bridge but after the first day we did not notice it. The agency made everything very easy and were extremely fast in helping us with the ice maker. Great people! We would recommend Taylor-Made Vacations and Wynsome Run to anyone we know.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When asked if this property was handicapped accessible I was told yes. It was not very easy for a 92 year old person to navigate the walkway to the door or to enjoy the lake. For young couples in the winter this would be perfect but for the summer and all of the lake activities we found it to be lacking.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great family get-together at Wynsome Run. The lay-out was perfect for us. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for family meals. The hot tub was great. The only problem we had was the top floor was a bit warm and the lowest level was cold. We all agreed we would stay there again. Some of us have plans for next year but we're thinking about the following year.

Reviewer Comments: When booking this house I was told there were no steps to the dock and the veiw was spaectacular.Well when we arrived there was approx. 40 steps straight down to the boat dock.Having brought my 88 yr old parents with us , it was impossible for them to walk to the boat.I was not made aware of this. Also the veiw was blocked by several mature tress in front of the lakefront making it impossible to see the lake.When I called the realtor they were very sorry and did reimburse a small amount of our money.But if I was told about these things I would have never rented this house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We visited Wynsome Run Lodge on probably the coldest and snowiest weekend of the season. The house was beautiful and clean with gorgeous views of the lake. The kitchen was fully stocked with more than we needed. it was great to have 6.5 bathrooms! We had a large group with my whole family and my husband's whole family. We enjoyed skiing at Wisp, building fires, cooking, singing, playing pool, playing foos ball, watching movies and just generally enjoying each others company. The house made it very easy to enjoy ourselves. All of the furniture was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for all of us to hang out in the kitchen and great room and also plenty of room to get away when we needed our privacy. Can't wait to go back!

We paid by credit card and my card was charged, but I couldn't get my check in info as promised due to some electronic signature issue. After talking to a Taylor Made rep, I still did not get the check in info for 2 days. Slave to the automated system at the expense of customer service.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Over all the property was very nice. A couple of items that need to be addressed are: - Ice makers need attention. Side by side not working at all and other is very slow. - Carpet needs a good cleaning. Many drip stains on stairs and in basement. - Door to deck does not lock. - Powder room on main floor needs towel rack replaced. All in all this is a great place to stay. Everyone loved it and it was well equipped. Manager responded on 7/30/2011: Thank you for brining this to our attention! We have already addressed the ice makers and will let the owners know about the carpets!

The location added with the condition of the property make this an ideal weekend get away from the city. The police are pretty strict about having alcohol on the docks but that is a very minor problem as me and my friends were all well over 21.

The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. We were several adults and kids, but it never felt crowded since the house has many entertainment areas. Even when we were all together between the kitchen and the dining room areas, there was still room to spare. Great times!
