  We rented this house for a birthday get-away with 3 other couples. The house is truly amazing....exactly as described. There are spectacular views and is a great place to relax and unwind. There are plenty of restaurants and shops all within walking distance. The owners were fantastic to work with and I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a rental that will accommodate a large group.

  This vacation rental is a home. Beautifully decorated. Lovely and thoughtful touches from gift basket to toiletries to picnic items in the closet. Everything you need for a perfectly comfortable and convenient get-away. Well maintained and very clean. My only disappointment was that the fireplace was out of service. The owners were readily available when I called to let me know that a part was on order as the original was found to be leaking. Thank you for being so kind to take my call at 9pm! I would recommend this property to family and friends. Check out SeaHag for a drink, and the store Gifted for some beautiful and unique items by local artists. Two minute walk to the whale watching center where the daily count is on the outside wall. Look for the otter family under the bridge as well.

We actually have tried to repair the fireplace so many times that we are having to break out the tile to remove it and replace it so our guests will be able to easily work it!   Had a wonderful weekend in Depoe Bay. The Captains Quarters were perfect. Very cute and comfortable the kids loved the bunk beds and the reading nook. The goodie basket with wine and snacks was very sweet. I'm sure we'll be back.

  We gathered with our son-in-law, daughter, 2-yr-old and 6 mo old, our other daughter, our elderly aunt and the two of us for a family vacation. This house was just what we dreamed of--room for all (4 bedrooms), decks, comfortable living room, well-supplied galley kitchen and a perfect eating area with a wall of glass to view the ocean. From there we saw whales spouting every day and enjoyed the sunsets every evening. There were games to play, beach toys, a wonderful TV, and even internet. It was the most perfect place. There was a great bowl of treats welcoming us and Coleen came with a special gift for our 2-yr-old grandaughter. We felt so pampered. I really recommend this to anyone visiting the Oregon coast. There are some steps involved so those who can't handle those may want to forego this wonderful experience.

  My two daughters and daughter-in-law had agreat bonding week-end. The location was excellent and the house was wonderful. The nautical decor really adds to the beach experience. Loved it and can hardly wait to do it again. Did I mention great beds and big fluffy white towels and all the great little amenities. Will recommend to all my friends. Thank you !

• Beautiful Home!

  This home was perfect for us and our family. It had everything we needed and more. Right in the middle of town and only 15 min each way to Lincoln City or Newport. Beautiful home with a beautiful view. We sat in the kitchen and watched for whales and all of the boats passing by. We will definitely come back. Thank you for an easy and homey vacation stay. We loved it!

  Lovely home and setting! Have stayed in other homes in the area, none have been as comfortable as this house. The kitchen is well stocked with anything we could ask for. The bathrooms very clean! The view is fantastic! We had the small bunk room and slept comfortable and cozy all night! Look forward to our next visit!

  There were five of us ladies that came for a getaway, this is the 3rd year we've done this kind of trip and this was by far the best experience yet. The house was lovely, welcoming, beautifully decorated and very well stocked with anything you might need in the kitchen or bathroom (the only thing that anyone might need that isn't provided, is little alarm clocks in the bedrooms.) There was enough seating in every area of the home for us to fully enjoy each common room, and we lucked out with fabulous weather, making it possible to even enjoy the BBQ and decking with beautiful views of the ocean. It was wonderful to meet you Colleen, we hope to enjoy your hospitality again.

  This was the second time I have come to Depoe Bay and stayed in this lovely home. Came up with 4 other friends and there was plenty of room for all of us. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need, and the beds were comfortable. It was beautiful weather so it was nice that we could use the barbeque out on the deck and have dinner outside overlooking the ocean. Thank you so much Colleen for your hospitality and the personal touches you have left every time I have stayed.

  Came down with three girl friends on friday, house was so accomading and relaxing we ended up calling our husbands to join us for the rest of the weekend. The Owners did a fablous job on this place. Easy to find and walking distance to town was a plus. The ocean view is what puts it over the top, Our family will be a returning renter.
