  We rented this condo for the holidays period 2012-2013 (2 weeks). This building complex dating back to the mid-80s is very well maintained. We have only good comments for the complex: grass, plants, pool and spa very well maintained. There is a beautiful beach just steps from the condo. You can walk down to the harbor to see the cruise ships. Regarding the condo itself, we were disappointed with the carpet condition. This is not because they are damaged, but poorly maintained. This is a condo that would need to be repainted and refreshed. The famous couch was replaced by a futon, but very very uncomfortable. We had problems with ants in the kitchen. There was also a problem with the dishwasher in the second week. The owner was contacted and arrived very quickly, but the unit has never been repaired for the rest of our stay. The base of the bed should be covered because it is stained. Looks like he was in a flooded basement. We believe that the appearance inside a condo at any extended stay, account for 80% of the overall grade for the entire trip. It was nice doing lots of activities, but we always come back to every day ... like it was back home. But in this rental, we did not have that feeling...

  My husband and I had a wonderful, relaxing vacation here. Quiet beach just a few steps away, pristine pool & hot tub on the property, clean & comfortable condo. Although the balcony isn't beach front, it's still a perfect spot to read or enjoy a cocktail while listening to the ocean. Our only complaint was that the couch was a bit worse for the wear. It's a very short drive to Cocoa Beach for lots of restaurants and shopping. It was very convenient having a separate tub and shower. Also nice to have the beach chairs and umbrella there. We really enjoyed spending the days at the beach and the pool. For any foodies looking for a nice restaurant, check out The Fat Snook. They have excellent food, an extensive wine list, and decadent desserts. We also enjoyed Grills and El Leoncito (it's a bit of a drive, but the mojitos and margaritas are worth it!). I would definitely recommend this condo and plan on going back again!

• What a fun time!

  We had a really fun time on our long weekend away in Florida and this property was perfect for the 2 of us. The convenient location, the quick walk down to the beach and the cozy accommodations were all just what we were looking for. As other reviewer have said, it is probably time for a new couch, but we didn't spend all that much time inside anyway as the weather was great and we spent most of the time out at the beach. Having the beach chairs and umbrella available was very nice and we put them to good use. The property was clean and well maintained. It doesn't have a beach view, but that didn't really matter to us and it made the rate more affordable too. We had dinner everynight at Grill's, as it was the first place the property owner recommended and it was a consistent recommendation from everyone we talked to - and the food was great, the atmosphere and staff were fun so we kept going back! My husband and I would happily stay here again and we hope we get to soon!

  First of all I want to thank you for making this place so affordable! We had a great time whether it be relaxing by the pool or the beach. When we were there it felt like we had a large section of beach all to ourselves. We found it great that it was in somewhat of a residential area (less traffic) and found that it really wasn't a big deal to not have access to to clubhouse. The placement of the resort is great because it is literally close to everything. We did see a small problem with the place. The only down fall was that the dishwasher was broken and the pull-out couch (bed and sofa) is starting to see better days. But nothing a couple pillows couldn't fix and how often do you really eat at home? These are very small problems if fixed, would make this place 6 stars! We had everything we needed as far as towels, dishes,etc. and replaced everything we used. What a great concept! The place was beautifully decorated and I found myself calling it home (which was comforting). We will definately be back when we need another getaway! It was wonderful to see the launch pad from the beach to bad they didn't have anything going off.

  The condo is mostly as described. For clarity it should be noted that the resort complex is beachfront, but this particular unit is not. From the balcony you can get a glimpse of the ocean just past the main building. The complex and the unit are a little dated but still nice. The pool is fabulous and the beach is very near. The resort is located in a residential area which is very quiet and with little traffic. There is a public beach just a short walk to the north and another just a short walk to the south but the beach access behind the condo is not crowded at all. Our only problem was that the dishwasher was broken when we arrived and, though we reported it, it was not repaired during our stay. But other than that, everything was great. If you stay here you have to go to The Cove and eat at Grills. Great food in a great atmosphere. Thank you for renting out this unit. My wife and I enjoyed our romantic getaway. This was one of the most relaxing vacations we've ever taken.

  We enjoyed our stay very much at this lovely resort. Steps away from sand, with a nice, open pool area. Palm trees at every turn remind you you're vacationing in a paradise! Condo is very comfortable, grounds are well kept, location is private and quiet, with all the amenities a 1 bedroom could offer--We'll be back!

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
