Just spent a weekend at Gull House - the location is great - right on the 9th tee box of the golf course, with windows and deck overlooking the ocean. The path to the beach is right across the street. The beds are super comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need - we made breakfast while we watched the early morning golfers, then had grilled steak and crab one night - everything was there from the dishes to the spices to the crab crackers! Also, loved the ping pong table in the garage - none of us had played in years, but had a great time playing!

Child-proofing was great (let us relax more). The views are spectacular - sunsets amazing. Gorgeous home - well organized. Great communication leading up to trip. Lovely housing edition. Close to beach. Be sure to bring layers - wind cools it off!

We had the pleasure of staying at this home for a long weekend getaway. Two families celelbrating grandmas 70th birthday. There was plenty of room for everyone, the views were Amazing! The location was basically across from the beach...we enjoyed long walks and running on the beach in the morning, the husbands enjoyed playing golf, the teens enjoyed sitting in the hot tub. The sunset from the house was gorgeous!! We cooked meals at the home, the kitchen had everything we needed. Debra has thought of everything! The house was very clean and comfortable just like home. Thank you so much for letting stay at your home, while we were there my family was already planning a summer trip back! This house is perfect! Debbie was great to work with!

This is an incredible home at a very reasonable price. The views are incredible, the hot tub was clean, the house was marvelously comfortable and gave us plenty of room (we had five in our group). Even the knives had been sharpened! I don't think I've ever had that experience in a rental home before, and we've rented several through VRBO. Debbie even sent us directions directly from our address to the home. The listing description and pictures accurately depict the property. What you see is what you get (actually, it was even better than in the photos). I can HIGHLY recommend this house. The owners have seen to everything. All you have to do is sit back and relax, or get out and have fun and then come back and soak in the hot tub. We can't wait to go back! Thanks, Debbie and Dave

I'll let the reviews below speak to the qualities of the home itself (which is lovely), but I just wanted to add how wonderful Debbie is as an owner. After our weekend at the house I accidentally left behind a set of 7 ramekins (which I'd brought up to the house from my kitchen). I contacted Debbie about them, and she not only went to the house to get them for me, but she packed them up and mailed them back to me right away. The best part – she wouldn't even let me reimburse her for the shipping costs! I've rented MANY homes on VRBO before, and I have to say that this kind of generosity and customer service in an owner is truly something to be valued. Thank you again, Debbie!

Loved the Gull home. Beds are so comfortable that we all slept great, home was well provisioned for cooking, games and beautiful views. Could hear the waves breaking, great walks on the beach and got fresh crabs right off the boats (absolutely delicious). Thanks so much for sharing it. We will be back next year, unless we can find a way to come sooner.

My family stayed at Gull Harbour over Thanksgiving weekend and had a very positive experience. We enjoyed the sweeping ocean views from the home and also appreciated the home's proximity to the beach pathway (an easy 10-15 minute walk). All four bedrooms are nicely appointed and have good natural light. The kitchen has a wonderful array of utensils and dishes for preparing gourmet meals (including a roasting pan and a gravy boat). The pots/pans and knives were also very high quality - for home cooks, these are much-appreciated amenities. We have rented vacation homes in the area before and this was one of the nicest experiences. We hope to be back soon!

Greatgrandma's 90th birthday called for a special weekend location with room for four generations to comfortably stay and play together. This beautifully furnished home was perfect! Each bedroom was luxurious in its own way, and everyone found their beds comfy. My daughter's family of 5 enjoyed a large king bedroom/bathroom with lovely trundle beds for the young girls and plenty of space for their toddler's travel bed. Another master BD/BA had access to the outdoor hottub, Most of us enjoyed walking to the beach, and appreciated the beach toys in the garage. Weather was 80 degrees! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Perfect! Everyone wants to come back next year. (Entry is a full stairway)

Arranged a group trip and Gull Harbour was one of three homes our group rented. It is a very nice home to spread out and relax, with large bedrooms. Not all on one level (only a step down from kitchen/din to liv and bdrms), but not a big deal there. Great location right on the golf course!

I hosted a wonderful reunion of friends at this Bodega Bay house in August and loved this place. Debbie, the owner, is super easy to communicate with and helpful and responsive with all questions. The house is just as described, with an open, light-filled common area for the kitchen/dining area/living room that left us with enough space for 4 couples and a few toddlers. The house was outfitted with everything we needed in the kitchen. The rooms are spacious, beds were comfortable, and showers were great. We only used the hot tub one afternoon, but it was great to have. We barbequed oysters in the afternoon (a must-do if you're visiting the area) and walked on the beach most days (the house is super close to the beach access path. sadly fog is the norm here in August, but it was still warm enough for shorts and tshirts). There is a kids area with a pingpong table in the garage, but we didn't use it since we didn't have children with us. I would highly recommend this house for anyone planning a large family vacation to the area.

We stayed for 2 days mid week in the first week of August. The home was even better than we expected. Lots of room and even spaces where you can be alone in the home too. We had 6 adults, 1 teenager and 1 child (as well as 2 small dogs) in our group and we had a great time! We wished we could have stayed longer but they were already booked, next time we will definitely have a longer stay 2 nights was too short. Wonderful family home with lots of games to play. Every room had a great view and the house is full of amenities that make you feel just at home! The beach is so close and once on it very few people are around, making it feel like you are on your own private beach. When the tide rolls out go around the rocks to see all kinds of muscles, barnacles and star fish. it was so fun to explore the sea life.

This house was really amazing and the location was just perfect. The path that lead down to the beach was really convenient. The house itself was in great condition and was fully stocked with everything we needed. Everyone enjoyed themselves here and really loved the house. We would definitely recommend renting this house if you plan on going to Bodega Bay!

I was truly in awe of the spectacular views from this clean, well-maintained home. The home was so comfortable and very well stocked. Extra blankets, towels, pantry items and a tv in every bedroom were so thoughtful. We purchased fresh ling cod from the Tides Wharf and cooked it at the house, a delicious meal with a great view of the ocean where it came from! We fished from the pier at Spud Point and caught red rock crab. A relaxing, memorable vacation as we had 3 generations staying together in this beautiful home. Thank you, we hope to return again soon!

Both the home and the property owners were outstanding. I went up with a small group of friends and every person commented on how the home exceeded all expectations from the amenities to the size to the details that were all thought of. The location is close to the beach and quite private at the same time. Overall an outstanding experience that I would return for at our next opportunity.

As with any family vacation I was not sure how not only my Wife, son and my daughter would fare in one house for 7 days. You add my Son in law and 4 grandchildren from 21 months old to 7 years old and I could not see one home accommodating all of us comfortably. I was very mistaken. The attention to details, the layout, the abundance of TV’s while not watched much and the cleanliness all impressed me to no end. The kids loved it and even I, Grand Dad, appreciated everything about it. I captured just one image as an attachment which says it all. Once the littlest one was happy, everyone else fell right into place. So could I find anything to complain about? Just one thing caught me off guard twice and that was forgetting to step down from the family / great room to the bedroom adjacent. I would walk in there completely forgetting and had to regain my balance twice. The second time had my grandchildren rolling in laughter, when while they were watching a movie in that room, I came in and apparently looked pretty funny regaining my balance. Not really a problem. So even though we traveled from TN, and this was our first experience with doing the home thing and all as one big happy family, I see us doing this again and hopefully with y’all. Thanks again for letting us use your home.

This house is FANTASTIC! We stayed there in May 2011 and can't wait to go back. The owners have stocked this house with everything you could possibly need to a week or weekend getaway. The views are gorgeous and the house is so clean. Get kitchen and spacious bedrooms. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting to go to beautiful Bodega Bay and relax with friends or family.

I had the pleasure of staying here for a girls' weekend in April 2011 and it was wondeful! The house is SUPER clean, spacious, and the owners have thought of every little detail you may need while vacationing at the beach. This house would be great for a large family, group of girls, or 2 or more families. There's a trail leading down to the beach just a few short feet away from the front door. You could just pack a bag, some food, and go. There are current movies at the house, a easy to cook in kitchen with lots of utencils, and a large hot tub. I look forward to going back!

There wasn't one 'particular' thing we liked about your home - it was ALL lovely. The rooms (beds) were all very nice. You provided more than we expected or have gotten at other homes we've rented in the Bodega Bay area. We enjoyed being able to communicate directly with the owners. Thank you!!

Our experience in this home exceeded our expectations. We were expecting a week of relaxation and getting refreshed and recharged for the new year. This lovely and welll-furnished home provided the perfect place for us to do just that. The home was very clean and furnished with everything we needed, far more than most rentals. The quality of the bedding, towels, etc., was only the best. The owner was more than helpful in answering any questions we had and responded quickly. The view was stunning and the access to the beach perfect!!! We would definitely recommend this home to any friend, relative, or stranger!!! We ourselves look forward to a return trip!!!
