  Great owner. Very approachable and honest. Everything as shown (and better). The view is stunning. The facility is fantastic. LOVED the infinity pool. Best place we've stayed in Mexico, and we go every year.

  The property was as described in the photos and listing. I had never rented a condo before and Andrew made it very easy. He was patient with me answering all my questions and making the experience good. The restaurants recommended were a lot of the same ones we have been frequenting over the past 20yrs. I would definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative. Thanks again Andrew. I hope we can rent it again. Joe/Carol

  We have been here for a week and have the better part of a week left. I couldn't wait to get home to write my review. Every part of this accommodation has far exceeded our expectations. The unit was immaculate when we arrived. The master bedroom bed is exceptionally comfortable - not the usual "mexican firm" most hotels/resorts have. The kitchen is very well stocked and has beautiful appliances. The view is breath taking - with an amazing view of the sunset which is never the same twice. The infinity pool is cleaned every morning and the grounds are kept beautifully. The pool side bar has a great selection of snacks and drinks that are very affordable. We went to the spa today and had a luxurious relaxation massage - it also is incredibly affordable. If you want a different experience, you can also get massages on the beach just up towards the hotel strip. I think my favorite part of this condo is that it's at the end of the hotel strip, so the beach is not nearly as busy. The owners were a dream to deal with when booking, and the property manager is very attentive and prompt in replying to any questions or concerns. All in all, we could not ask for a more perfect place to spend our vacation. Thank you!!!

  Had a wonderful 4 week stay at this condo. Fantastic view, clean and well maintained, ample storage, good, friendly service at the pool and front desk and good communication with the owner. We would highly recommend this condo to family or friends but not when we need it. Have rebooked for next year. Ixtapa can become addictive so beware!

  Enjoyed our 12 days at Andrew and JoAnne's condo. It was clean, well-decorated, quiet with beautiful ocean and marina views. The pool was incredible, and we're not pool people! The little snack bar was super convenient for a drink and a bite in the middle of the day, and very reasonably priced (guacamole was top-notch). The staff were all very friendly. We liked being out by the marina, away from the crowds and noise of town, yet it was an easy 10-15 minute walk into the action or a 5 peso bus ride. Andrew was always available by phone or email for any questions or concerns, and even helped us when we made our tight connection in Mexico City but our luggage didn't. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again or recommend it to others.

  We had a lovely stay in this unit. The owners were extremely responsive and provided us with all the info we needed. Their condo is beautiful and very nicely furnished. The photos provide an accurate appearance of the unit. We would highly recommend!!

  My husband and I were lucky enough to spend the entire month of February in Andrew and Joanne's condo at the BVG Marina. The best way to describe everything was PERFECTION. The condo is absolutely beautiful, clean and very well maintained. The free WIFI was great - especially since we were gone for so long and the free Vonage phone was even better to be able to contact our family and friends while we were vacationing. Andrew was wonderful in every way - he even had the coffee maker replaced while we were there. We saw whales and dolphins from our balcony and the pool side at least 4 - 6 times and we were also lucky enough to see baby sea turtles being released on the beach. We love going to Playa Las Gatas in Zihuatenejo to snorkel and also to Ixtapa Island. Next year my husband plans on taking a cooking class to learn how to make traditional Mexican dishes (we found out about a woman who owns a restaurant who also gives cooking classes). Our trip was everything we hoped it would be and more. Andrew is so very accommodating and we would rent from him every year if we could!

  This is our second visit to Andrew and Joanne's condo - we are hooked, in fact we wanted to return next year however it appears Andrew and Joanne will be using the condo. This is a great location, a wonderfully private condo with all the amenities and as always Andrew has been great to deal with. Sometimes the real test for dealing with someone only occurs when thing are not going as they should - it so happened that the air conditioner malfunctioned upon our arrival, once contacted Andrew was relentless in ensuring the issue was resolved - Thanks again, Andrew. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone, anytime.

  This is our first stay in Andrew and Joanne's 1603North condo and what a gorgeous paradise they have! The unit is immaculately clean with no ants or any pests whatsoever. Their balcony with the 4 loungers have a "to die" for view of the ocean and the entire unit has all the modern conveniences of home. it is so convenient to have the fridge and microwave so we can keep our drinks cold and nuke up left overs for breakfast/lunch. You never have to worry about any ants if you leave any food on the table longer than 5 minutes because there aren't any. The king bed is extremely comfortable with the feather duvet and the pull out sofa is equally comfortable. it was great having a dryer and washer in the unit as well. next time when we return, i would bring our own face cloths as the 2 that were in the unit were badly stained and really worn out. Andrew is a dream to deal with...always so prompt in replying any emails and was kind enough to let us check out late. We want to return during Christmas but unfortunately it is already booked. I know we will definitely be returning to Andrew's "paradise" at the BVG Marina. Thanks ever so much Andrew for sharing your "xanadu" with us.

  If you are looking for that special place, STOP NOW!! Ixtapa/Zihua is a dream come true. The Bay View Grand Marina and more specifically Andrew and Joanne's wonderful condo are just spectacular!! We are both retired and have been coming to Ixtapa since the late 80's and this is absolutely the finest property in Ixtapa. The pictures and descriptions provided are excellent, but until you open the door to the condo, see the furnishings, artwork, and of course the magnificent views you really can't appreciate what you will experience!! Enjoy the great beachwalks, the terrific sunsets, Ixtapa and Zihua in all its glory. There is lots to do, or just relax by the beautiful pools and swim in the ocean;sea is usually very calm and the water is very warm. Restaurants are abundant, easy walking to and have very reasonable prices (cheap!!). Be sure to read the guest book and review the many cards and suggestions involving restaurants, tours, fishing, snorkeling and more. We found that along with "trip advisor" on the internet to be very helpful in guiding us in the right direcdtion. Travelling around is very easy. You can walk to many places or take a bus(small, clean and very friendly people) for 5 pesos to downtown Ixtapa or 9 pesos to Zihua. Cabs are very reasonable also but you need to do the bus at least once. The Bodega(grocery store) in Zihua is best for food needs. Our favorite restaurant was Che Mangiamo, at the marina. Great food, wonderful service, terrific atmosphere and live music Wednesday thru Sunday. For a "special dinner" go to Villa De La Selva, which is on the opposite end of town by Las Brisas resort, high on the hill. The view, service, food and ambiance is about as good as it gets... it is expensive but do it once, we have for over 25 years!! Finally to the owners, who are absolutely wonderful to work with. Andrew and Joanne have thought of everything!! We visited other condo"s while we stayed and none are close to being furnished as well as 1603N!! So with that we are counting down the days to next January as we have booked a month for next year... guess that tells the story. Thanks Andrew and Joanne it was such a great time!!!
