  Comienzo describiéndome como una persona muy exigente: busco mucho, comparo propiedades, hago muchas preguntas antes de rentar una casa, leo los reportes. Estuvimos en la casa hace unos días. Somos un matrimonio con 2 niños de 11 y 8 años y debo decir que la estadía fue mucho mejor de lo esperado! Voy a comenzar por Michael, su dueño. Es una persona cordial, amena, atenta, siempre dispuesto a contestar al instante y a resolver cualquier situación que se presente. Se nota realmente que desea lo mejor para sus huéspedes y lo logra! La casa es un sueño. Tiene todo y mucho más de la esperado. La caracterizan detalles de confort y elegancia. Está diseñada para quedarse todo el día ahí y solamente pensar en disfrutar. Las habitaciones y los baños son hermosos y cómodos.La cocina tiene una vista increíble (como toda la casa) con cantidad de utensillos y electrodomésticos.Nuestro momento favorito era el desayuno: los niños se levantaban y corrían al jardín a buscar naranjas dulces para hacer el jugo fresco! La limpieza y el orden también son una característica. Si están buscando un lugar tranquilo y maravilloso, con hermosas vistas y con instalaciones de primer nivel… no lo duden… ESTE ES EL LUGAR!!! no se arrepentirán. No querrán dejar la casa nunca, querrán volver una y otra vez! Michael… gracias por todo y por haber hecho de nuestras vacaciones en Palm Springs un momento inolvidable!

  The first thing that impressed me upon walking in is how clean the whole house was as cleaniness is very important to me. My family stayed at this property for fifteen days and enjoyed every minute. Kitchen was beautiful, well stocked and beautiful view from every window. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom and we were all very comfortable with our own space. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious. The dining room was beautiful and accommodated all of us (8 people) as we all had a place to sit at the table and enjoyed every meal together. The living room with the fireplace was awesome as well. My favorite was the master bedroom as it has one entire full length curved wall of widows facing the pool, the golf course, pond and the Disney Fountain. It also has a huge TV, desk, couch, love seat and two tub chairs. I think it is amazing! Every room had a beautiful view! the owner, was very accommodating and checked with us upon our arrival to see if we required anything and of course, we said you thought of everything! The home was stocked with all the required necessities, you just had to move in and buy groceries. The pool and hot tub were very clean and had pool accessories available for our use. Our three grandchildren had an absolute ball in the pool. The lawn was immaculate and manicured at all times. I honestly cannot say enough about this home as we just loved everything about it. I would not even check out another place to stay when we go back to Palm Springs. We will definitely be back! Thanks Michael for sharing such a beautiful mansion with our family. By the way, an added touch, there are orange, lemon and grapefruit trees in the backyard. We picked oranges every day and they are delicious! Just a great place to spend a vacation!

  Just stayed at this home for a birthday weekend/girls getaway. I've used VRBO for rentals in North America and Europe with great luck but this home ranks right at the top for me. The home is HUGE so every guest had their own space in which to unwind. The pool is simply amazing with sweeping mountain views and total privacy - no neighbors seen nor heard. There is a great shaded area with couches and misting system right next to the pool which were great ways to escape the sun and keep cool while still being near the outdoor action. The kitchen was completely stocked with all of the things we needed to prepare our group meals. Great sound system. Perfectly located... one mile walk to coffee house, one mile to major grocery, just a few miles from heart of entertainment district. So convenient. Would be amazing for golfers since it is directly on the course and just a hop away from clubhouse. I highly, highly recommend this home. Thank you for sharing this little slice of heaven with us!!!

  This year for my 40th birthday, my closest friends and family got together at Casa Del Mar. From the second we walked into the door, until we left, we were beyond happy with the accomodations. The house is perfectly laid out, with more than the necessary ammenities and an overabundance of space to do whatever comes to mind. I will definitely be renting this property again. Thanks Mike!!!

  Casa Del Mar is more amazing in person than the pictures can portray. We were celebrated a birthday with 10 girls and never felt crowded. The house is stocked with plenty of cookware which was essential since we cooked gourmet meals and were able to sit in the dining room all together with no problem. The patio furniture under the sun shade was great for relaxing outside but getting out of the sun, the media room had an amazing selection of movies, the full bar was great and had an extra dishwasher, the grocery store is around the corner and downtown PS is a quick drive (but we never wanted to leave). Michael was available to help with any questions during our stay and provided a very easy to follow information booklet for the weekend. The decor/artwork was modern, comfortable and amazing. Everyone is already planning another trip back to Casa Del Mar!

  We just returned from our fourth annual family trip the desert and this was by far the best yet. Casa Del Mar is the perfect retreat with beautiful interiors, expansive bedrooms (all with en suite bathrooms) an outdoor oasis with unobstructed views of the golf course and mountains, cool misting station and sparkling pool and hot tub. For those hours when you need a break from the sun, the media room is perfect with a true theatre setting. We have stayed at a lot of great places in Palm Springs and this tops them all. What a great trip full of memories. Thank you Michael!

  Our two weeks at "Casa Del Mar" were absolutely exceptional! Michael is a fantastic host and his home goes far beyond the description provided on VRBO. From the spices and daily necessities in the kitchen to the exceptional quality AND quantity of linens and towels - we were continually amazed at how thoughtful the owner - Michael - is in his approach to providing a five star experience for his guests. We have rented other luxury homes in the desert but have never been more impressed. From the location to the floor plan - this is a terrific choice. While my wife and I were by ourselves for most of the two weeks - our 3 adult children and their two guests joined us for a few days. They were equally impressed. We all hope our schedules permit a reunion again next year at this lovely home.

  Great location, exceeded expectations, owner was extremely helpful and continues to improve the property. The kitchen was well outfitted. 5th bedroom is a fold out or a couch, not to worry there is plenty of room in this place. We would go back in a heart beat!

  Our group of 6 women stayed at Casa Del Mar recently and had a fantastic time. You never know what to expect when renting via the internet, but I have to say - this home exceeded our expectations. The pool and patio area are as beautiful as pictured. The home was spotless, updated and well maintained. It's filled with interesting artwork and high end comfortable furnishings. Everything is supplied; from kitchen amenities down to the pool floaties. Our group had more than enough room to spread out (it's a BIG house) and the living room bar was our favorite gathering spot each night. It's a really great home!

  My family and friends from England have been renting vacation homes in the Palm Springs area since 2003. This home is now our favorite! The neighborhood and golf course/country club is rich in Hollywood history. My family and friends did not leave the house other than an occasional trip to the nearby grocery store and dinner out only one evening. We loved cooking in the gourmet kitchen and outdoor Viking grill (hooked up to natural gas so you never have to worry about running out of propane while cooking!). Everything you could possibly want/need is included in this home! From measuring cups/spoons, cup cake papers/pans, casserole dishes, comfy beds/linens, pool towels, to a formal dinning room that easily seats 8, beautiful dishes/placemats, bar glasses for every drink imaginable and a HUGE bar with dishwasher, ice maker, sink, etc.! The outdoor space is just as amazing! The backyard is very private even though it's on the 12th hole. The only sounds heard was the occasional pinging of a golf ball, the muffled sound of mowers on the course and the ducks on the lake! The Walt Disney Fountain is beautiful and visible from most rooms of the house. We enjoyed the bunnies in the yard and even Canadian geese one morning! The golf cart is great for touring the gorgeous neighborhood. All furniture indoors and out is clean and in excellent condition. There are multiple outdoor areas for relaxing all with amazing views of the mountains, golf course and lakes. The media room is great, but the DVD/music library is even more impressive! The homeowner provided detailed instructions for air conditioning, electric blinds, etc. and directions to nearby businesses and attractions. He even called to make sure everything was satisfactory (it most certainly was!)! I cannot say enough about the quality of this home, its contents or the pleasure it was to deal with the homeowner. We felt like we were guest in his home, not a vacation rental! God willing, my family will return again and again!

  Lovely home with everything you could possibly need. We spent a week and loved every minute. The home is spacious and beautifully decorated and positively comfortable. We felt we were at our own home. If we had a question the owner immediately took care of it. We would highly recommend this property.

  We had a perfect 5 days at this wonderful home. Located on the 12th fairway, with amazing views, the yard still offers plenty of privacy. The interior of the home is both grand and comfortable. The property listing is great, yet the home still exceeded my expectations in every way. The owner made the whole process so easy. My family and guests are all eager to return.

  Michael, thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home for our family vacation in April. From the moment we arrived we knew this was going to be one of the best vacations we have ever taken. The home was spotless and you have thought of absolutely everything. . We loved the large pool and back yard. It was so nice to wake up in the morning and pick oranges and lemons from your trees . Your home exceeded our expectations and you were a pleasure to deal with. We can't wait to come back and rent your home again on our next trip to Palm Springs.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our month-long stay at Casa Del Mar! From the moment we entered past the cascading waterfalls, we felt like we were at our own private resort. The sprawling, well- appointed home is great for families and entertaining. We especially appreciated the expansive backyard with all-day sunlight exposure and incredible views of the grand San Jacinto mountain range. The kids enjoyed the large pool, rides in the on-site golf cart, and the abundant fruit trees. The owner was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We look forward to coming back next year!
