Located in the most convenient walking area of the city is Barrios de Aldea, a private gated, residential area of fine homes, The location of this home is second to none, and puts you in the heart of everything you come to San Miguel to see. Within a block or so, you can find virtually everything you could need or want. This lovely home places you where you want to be between the Instituto Allende, the famous art and language school that helped put this city on the map, beautiful Parque Juarez and the towns main square just a 5 minute stroll past the finest shops and galleries. This lovely home offers the unequaled convenience of the district and for those driving an essential garage, a hard to find amenity in San Miguel de Allende. This modern colonial home has a spacious living room and dining area that leads through arched glass doors to a lovely sun-filled patio with a dramatic Moroccan arched fountain as it’s center piece. The patio has it's own cozy, tile covered, built in seating area. The entire house has special custom painting effects in wonderful Mexican colors and is decorated with an exotic theme but carefully selected for comfort and livability. Ample use of stained glass floods the rooms with colored light. The master suite has its’ own sun-filled terrace with shade umbrella, table and chairs for morning coffee. All the bedrooms have dramatic boveda ceilings unique to this area of Mexico and are equipped with ceiling fans. Each bedroom has its’ own Mexican tiled bathroom attached. All bedrooms have king-size beds but one offers king or twin bed arrangements. The large upper terrace is perfect for sunbathing or sunset cocktails and views of the Parroquia. There are tables, chairs, and even a hammock for lazy reading under the shade of the loggia. The kitchen is well equipped to delight the gourmet in your group and has a breakfast booth for lazy breakfasts, but if it’s time off that you prefer, then a personal cook can be arranged. The house comes equipped with maid service three days a week.
