A home in paradise
A home in paradise
The location was great! Right near town (just a 5 minute walk) and a beach where you could go watch the sunset. Having the dipping pool was great but we spent most of our time on the beach. How can you not? They are amazing! The owner, Anna, was great. She showed us around town our first day, picked us up at the ferry dock, and also brought us shopping for essentials since we did not have our rental car yet. There were little ants that would try to eat your food if you left it out so we just stored everything in the fridge. Even if the box was closed, they would somehow make it in. But if there was no food left out, there were no ants. The garden area was great. We BBQ'ed dinner there a few nights and is was great. Just had to wear bug repellent to keep off the bug bites. There were a lot of little geckos around that were fun to watch. We even spotted a huge one in the yard our last day! The beaches were the best part of the vacation by far! We loved Maho, Salmon, and Honeymoon because they were beautiful, smaller, and not crowded. Trunk Bay was beautiful but, or course, a lot of people. If you are thinking of coming to the Virgin Islands, do so! It was amazing, beautiful, and fun!
