  Our family of 4 has been on several vacations to Sanibel, but this is the 1st time staying at Sandpebble. As other reviewers have said, the condo is beautifully furnished and has everything you'll need. The view over the golf course out the back balcony was my favorite, very quiet and serene. The only drawback is that it is is on Middle Gulf drive which is a very busy road during the day, with a steady stream of traffic all day. The small screen porch on the golf course was great for cross breezes. It was in the 80's and we never used air con, since the breeze kept the condo cool.

  I wish I could write a bad review about this apartment, then I can be confident that it will be available whenever we want to go back! It doesn't feel like a rental - it is more like you are staying at a friend's apartment. We loved the layout - there were 3 adults and 2 teenagers and we had plenty of room. The kitchen is very well equipped. We especially loved all the art work on the walls. The boys were often on their own in the pool or shared it with one other family. Sanibel was lovely although extremely hot at this time of the year. We had to walk for about 3 minutes to get to the beach, and on the last day we were rewarded by 2 dolphins joining us as we were in the sea. I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough! Thank you - we will definitely come and stay again!

  The owner's were kind enough to work with our schedule. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the grounds. This is a somewhat small condo complex and it seemed not many people were there this time of year. We had the pool to ourselves most days. Upon arriving inside the condo, we found it nicely appointed and roomy. We were a bit concerned by the size quoted on the website, as there were six in our party. We had 3 teenage boys, but the sofa folded into a queen bed. The layout of the place made it work for us. The kitchen had very nice appliances (something you would have in your own home not a rental), the dishes and glassware were also very nice too. The master bath was also updated and quite lovely. There is a laundry downstairs right off the eleveator. Our overall trip was excellent. We loved Sanibel. All agreed, we would definiitely come back and stay in this condo again. The management company was also fantastic to work with as well. They were a wealth of information if we needed anything.

  We so enjoyed our vacation in Sanibel late November! The condo was so warm, lovely and comfortable. Although this was to be mainly a relaxing break for us, we rented bicycles and cycled the island, visited three different beaches, shopped at the market on Sunday morning, dined out every evening. Weather was perfect - we did not want to leave :) Thank you Carolyn and Tom!

  Had a great stay loved the condo and the view of the river and golf course.We had plenty of room and was very comfortable.This was one of the best deals I've had on a rental.

  This was our 2nd trip to Sandpebble on Sanibel; great condos, plenty of room, nicely decorated - a beautiful area. A walk across the street to the beach, with a quiet, clean private pool area as well. Lots to do on Sanibel and plenty of mainland spots to explore. Highly recommended for those who love walking, biking, photography, and seeing Mother Nature up close.

  We just arrived home from a wonderful vacation in Sanibel. The condo was much bigger than we anticipated. It afforded privacy for two couples - each having their own bath. We liked the fact the condo was in a smaller complex. The view of the canal was great - we saw a lot of wildlife. The pool was warm and clean. The condo is well equipped and beautifully decorated -we loved the owners' little touches. The beds were comfy and the condo was quiet. The beach is a short walk away and the wi-fi works well. The condo was on the 4th floor but, there is an elevator and, carts to use to bring up your luggage/groceries. If we return to Sanibel, we would definitely rent from these gracious owners again.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

  We have stayed at this property on a number of occasions with our children and it is a perfect family vacation spot. The condo is an easy walk across the street from the beach, and the pool is protected and warm and great for kids. The other Sanibel beaches and restaurants and a fabulous playground are any easy bike ride away (we've had no problem locking up our bikes in the parking lot, where there is a designated space for bikes). The interior of the condo is thoughtfully decorated and the kitchen is well stocked.

  We have stayed at this apartment at Sandpebble twice and loved it both times! The two bedroom, two bath layout is simple and compact, but very tastefully decorated and up-graded in all the right places - a "cut above" the standard rental condo in Sanibel. The master bath was re-done this year in elegant style and the kitchen is well-stocked for the active cook. The "lanai" porch is lovely and we wound up sitting out there for breakfast and supper most days (weather permitting). Perfect for two couples or a small family, the beach is a only a short walk and all of Sanibel's charming attractions are close at hand. In addition to the fantastic beaches for swimming, walking and shell-gathering, "must-do's" include the Ding Darling wildlife reservation, the Saturday farmers' market, and riding the extensive bike paths. The owners have provided a very complete guide to the area and there's lots to do and see very nearby. We highly recommend this condo and will definitely return for another stay.

  The condo was well appointed and flexible in layout. (The second bedroom with twin beds and its own bath was great for kids.) The kitchen had what we needed to easily prepare meals and the screened porch was a nice option for an outdoor meal. The location too was nice. A couple of minute walk to the beach or a short bike ride to shops. What we especially liked was that the building itself is small and quiet. It doesn't feel commercial. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others and, in fact, have.
