Winter Park Lodge II condo description
Curl up to the fireplace or take a long soak in the hot tub under the stars. My condo is located on the 3rd and top floor of Winter Park Lodge II over looking the Fraser Valley. First thing in the morning it has awesome views of Byers Peak, the ski runs of Winter Park and later in the day, the tubing hill in Fraser.
The condo itself is my 2nd home, so there are spices in the pantry and games in the cupboards. It is on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator....so this does help you keep in shape for ski season. The master bedroom has a 3/4 bath off of it and a seperate door leading to the balcony for midnight views of the stars.
For the most part it is a clean and comfortable place to stay. I provide linens for 6 and extra towels are usually under the sink in case you need an extra one for the hot tub.

About the owner: I love skiing and was drawn to Winter Park because of its good snow and the National Sports Center for the Disabled. As a former P.E. teacher, I decided to volunteer to teach with that program after a friend of mine(Retta) died of cancer. She was 27 at the time and #2 in the state for 3 track skiing. I decided I would teach a year in Retta's honor. 31 years later...I am still doing it, and Winter Park named a run after her. I live with my family in Littleton, and love the fact I can teach blind skiing in the winter and can river rafting in the summer!
Why the Owner Chose Winter Park Lodge II:
I chose this location because I could afford it! It has an outdoor swimming pool and hot tub. It is relatively close to the ski area, walking distance to the grocery store, fishing pond, streams and a couple restaurants., and the shuttle to the ski area is basically about 75 steps from the bottom of the stairs.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Views, Views, Views. Being on the top floor of this complex, no one blocks your view and you can see the runs at Winter Park to the fireworks in Fraser on the 4th of July! You also do have any one walking on top of you. I liked being able to send my nephew down to fish and see him from my balcony.
