The Ocotillo Lodge, full of rich history, is now one of treasures in the desert of Palm Springs. This unit RENOVATED in 2011, is on the QUIET SIDE of the building, away from Palm Canyon Drive. It provides you with your home away from home. Peaceful, palm tree-lined property with one of the largest pools in the city. Two hot tubs, an exercise room, free parking, security gates and guaranteed sunshine make your experience complete.
Take time to explore the many wonders of the desert from a tram ride up the mountain to hiking in the Canyons to a day trip through Joshua Tree National Park. Shopping galore at El Paseo, Cabazon Outlet mall, Desert Hills Outlet mall, Costco, Kohls, Target are just the beginning of your shopping spree!
Start your day with a coffee and muffin on the patio, by the pool, or at nearby Koffi! Bus service is right outside your door to nearby downtown! Enjoy the Villagefest on Palm Canyon Drive downtown every Thursday night, where artisans sell their wares, vendors sell their goods, and many stores stay open late!

Extra days of cleaning can be arranged directly with our rental manager in destination for $75 per cleaning.
DEPOSIT: A security / damage deposit is required at time of reservation. It is 100% refundable if you cancel more than 6 weeks prior to your stay. The damage deposit will be refunded after your stay is complete, provided there is no damage.
PERMIT: The City of Palm Springs requires ALL VACATION RENTALS be registered and the permit posted. My permit is #4728.

From the minute I arrived at the condo, I instantly felt at home. It was comfortable, and furnished in a way that made the living area seem much larger. They've updated so much in this condo, and the results are fantastic. I can't wait until my next stay in beautiful Palm Springs. We thourghly enjoyed our stay in this unit. It is well equpped for a long term stay, very clean and neat with plenty of storage space. Very close to shopping and restaurants are within walking distance. We plan to returnRecommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.

We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It was well equipped, comfortable and clean. Everyone at the Ocotillo was very friendly and the heated pool and spas, grounds were well maintainned and the temperatures of the water perfect. Within easy walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants in a local shopping centre.Love the history of the Ocotillo. All in all, I would recommend this condo.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

This wonderful condo had everything we needed. It is even more upgraded than the pictures show. There are two brand new flat screen televisions that have replaced the old tube ones that are shown. It was very clean, comfortable and in a great location, on the quiet side away from the street noise. The owner was very easy to work with, and check in and check out was simple! I'd happily stay here again. The rates are great and I hope to stay again soon.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We loved the location, the midcentury architecture of ocotillo lodge and the very quiet pool and hot tub! Down the road from great "Koffi" but I wouldn't waste your time eating at Ernie's accross the street. The room was all we needed! We took the bus and rollerblades to get around and it was perfect!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

First time to Palm Springs and staying at a VRBO. I had a great 5 night stay. The Condo is clean, comfortable, has a fabulous pool and interesting history. The photos truly reflect the accommodation. Loved being so close to the canyon area for hiking. Arranging my stay was easy and the owner was more than willing to answer my questions. The property manager was also very helpful and prompt for the hand over of the key. Go and see for yourself.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We had a terrific experience at this wonderful unit. Very 1950's style and the location is superb. The apartment was clean & tighty and perfectly stalked to enjoy the warm Palm Springs weather. The hand-off of the key and getting settled was a breeze and the entire experience an A+. Highly recommended.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Hard to find a better location in Palm Springs. Clean and pretty condo in a well maintained complex with beautiful landscaping. Pool big enough to swim laps. I thought it was fun to be in a historic property for Modernism Week and I had opportunity to meet the original architect. VERY helpful and friendly owner!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.

Our family had a wonderful time at the Ocotillo and spending time in this condo. It was beautifully furnished and we had everything we needed for the holiday weekend. My friend and I stayed at the Ocotillo Lodge for 9 wonderful days in May 2011. I will start by saying that the owner was great to deal with and he made sure we had all the details required for our stay well in advance of our arrival. The unit was sparkling clean and had every amenity required for a holiday including a fully stocked kitchen. We were able to wake up and enjoy our breakfast right in the unit or walk onto the deck and enjoy the morning sun! The main bedroom had amble space and the pull-out couch was very comfy for sleeping. The bathroom was spacious with 2 sinks and a walk-in shower. One of the best features of the condo was the pool area. It is a huge pool and everything is kepy very clean. The other residents were very friendly and helped us with choices for our dinners out. The location is great as well as it is walking distance to restaurants and very close to downtown...a 5 minute car ride away! And to top it off, the price is right! We highly recommend this place and we definitely plan to stay there again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Why the Owner Chose Ocotillo Lodge:
I have been visiting Palm Springs for over 22 years so decided to purchase this bright and airy, south facing unit on the SECOND LEVEL. I have had the unit renovated with all the comforts of home. The large patio outside the patio door is a wonderful place to have breakfast and coffee in the morning, or a delightful dinner in the evening. As I stay here as well, my expectations for the complex are high, and I strive to offer you everything you come to expect. The large, heated key-hole shaped pool is a very short walk, and is a great place to meet friends by day, then relax in one of the two hot tubs late into the evening.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
This quiet, SOUTH FACING, bright and airy unit is air conditioned, on the second level AWAY FROM THE STREET! It is fully furnished, with a fully supplied kitchen and a dinette. There is cable tv in the living room and the bedroom. The unit has free local phone calls, and internet. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, and double sinks, supplied with linens, towels and pool towels. The laundry facilities are a short walk from the unit. There is a queen size bed in the bedroom, and a queen sofa bed in the living room. The patio set is right outside the unit for a sunny morning coffee, or a dinner for four in the evening. The complex has a large pool, two hot tubs, a social room and an exercise room. There are books in a small library for your use as well.
