The cabin was great. Very clean, well supllied, far away from the traffic but close enough to all the attractions. I would reccommend this place to anyone that likes quiet but comfortable getaways.

I recently stayed at this 2 bedroom cabin with my husband and 3 kids. The owner Jereme Was a big help, I booked it one day before our arrival he was able to answer my questions And the booking was fast and secure. We had a great time, it is in a peaceful neighborhood just up the street from big bear lake. The deck is great we sat out there enjoying the birds singing and counting the stars at night. The cabin decor was just right looked so woodsy. I definitely recommend this cabin.

Wonderful cabin in cute neighborhood. Fun, kitschy decor. Well-stocked. Very clean. totally reasonable rate. 2 small issues when we first arrived: driveway was completely covered in snow, in fact we couldn't see where the driveway was, plus there was a big pile of snow at the curb from the streets being plowed. Called the owner and he told us where the shovels were... not the most relaxing start to our vacation. Also he was out of wood for the wood burning stove so we have to turn around and buy some (after we were done shoveling, of course). If owner would hire a service to take care of shoveling and keep the place stocked with wood, this would have been an A+ experience.

Nice Cabin! Great Value!

The cabin is tucked into a nice quiet residential neighborhood in Big Bear. A short drive to Bear Mountain and Snow Summit. Cabin is a bit small, well-maintained, and can comfortably sleep 5 people (2 couples and 1 extra person). The cabin has 1 main wall heater and smaller wall heaters in the bedrooms which will keep you very warm even on the coldest nights.

We stayed here over the weekend when the kids started spring break. Had a big snow fall on Saturday which made the weekend. The place was nice and easily fit 2 small families. The stove was the trickiest part of the cabin but once we got the hang of it the cabin was nice and warm.

The cabin was easy to access, clean and fully stocked. A great getaway and afford ably priced. The master bed/queen a little small, yet overall nice for a short stay.

I can't say enough about how wonderful this cabin is!!!!! It is tucked away in a quiet little neighborhood- perfect for a romantic getaway or a relaxing trip! The couch and beds are super comfy, the kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, and it even has movies and games! I've already recommended it to my friends who are looking for a getaway cabin. The house was super clean and super comfortable. It felt more like a friend's house than a rental. Jereme was super helpful and super fast at responding to any questions I had. The pictures do NOT do it justice! I saw a lot of cabins that were much more expensive and not nearly as nice. When we come back to Big Bear, I'll be sure to rent this cabin again! My boyfriend would have bought this cabin if it was available, he is so in love with it!

Sweet Spring Break!
Sweet Spring Break!
Nice surprise to find this place at such a GREAT PRICE! Not mentioned in the ad: it's walking distance to a big playground (with full-size basketball court, jungle gym, swings, etc.), near a mountain bike trail behind the elementary school (with one REALLY STEEP section--from a mom's perspective anyway), and on a quiet street. Neighbors are close, but there's some room on the side of the property to sled. The deck is bigger than it appears in the ad. There's also plenty of room for 2 vehicles in front. This cabin is small, but packed with ALL the necessities (even sufficient TP). The wood stove was not that difficult to operate (pull the flu to open, push to close--on the left hand side of the stove). The bedrooms and closets are tiny, but the beds are big and very comfy. There's LOTS of room for suitcase storage under the beds. The top bunk felt a little unstable so we didn't use it. But the living room couch worked nice as a backup (warmest place because of the wood stove--stock up on kindling and wood, beneath the deck, BEFORE a big snowfall). We had trouble with the BBQ grill on the deck (didn't get really hot) and the DirectTV (no signal?), and getting the front door to latch and lock, but I still would stay here again for the price. The Playstation2 was a nice touch. Jereme is easy-going and good about returning/answering phone calls and didn't seem bothered by my questions--even if he couldn't resolve them all. I feel confident that the DirectTV, BBQ, door and bunkbed are easy fixes that Jereme will take care of soon. All in all we had an excellent week! We will DEFINITELY stay here again if we return to Big Bear.
