  Extremely clean and very nice homey feeling! So beautiful the rolling hills, horses, sheep, and all the plants and trees surrounding this guest cottage. We only met Linda but she is very generous in showing our niece and grandaughter all the animals. Will definitely recommend this place to our friends. Thank you.

  Wonderful little place! Right in the heart of wine country, about 5 minutes from Creston and a very short drive to Paso Robles. Everything was very clean and nice. Beautiful setting and the owners were very helpful with anything and everything. Would highly recommend staying here!

  Much, much nicer than we expected. Much nicer than the pictures show. Great setup, very clean, very well equipped. The eggs, English muffins, and candy were a surprise and we enjoyed them. The place is so quiet. Great place to get a good nights sleep. The patio is a great place to relax and read or have a glass of wine and snacks, which is what we did. All this and we did not even have time to meet the horses or the owners. We will be back, really. Thank you.

  This was our second stay at this delightful retreat. It is the only place we would ever staty in Paso Robles. The ranch is serene and beautiful with very private accomodations that have a fenced yard and garden for the dogs, BBQ, fire pit and lots of birds. We enjoyed playing chess on the outdoor chess game even though we are not chess players. Linda is fantastic. She provides fresh eggs from her hens, vegetables from the garden when available, milk, coffee and english muffins. An evening stroll around the ranch is not to be missed. The horses, dog and 2 young cats are very friendly. This is a must stay place!

  We did not expect this farmhouse to be so great! Very clean, well stocked with the basics and comfortable. Located on the east-side of Paso Robles, it was a perfect location for wino's like us. The property is quiet and the nights were amazing. Seeing the farm animals and simply enjoying the surroundings was exactly what we needed. The owners, Linda and Ron are an absolute delight. Very sweet and generous couple that will go out of their way in making you as comfortable as possible. We will be back!

  We found everything to be accurately shown and very well maintained. The owners were especially helpful and gracious. They went out of their way to answer any questions we had and extended them selves in every way. They exceeded what was advertised and expected. I would recomend this listing for pets, children and those who want a peaceful relaxing beautiful stay. We loved the animals at the farm/ranch and the happy memory we took home.

  We found everything to be especially pleasant and relaxing. We loved the gracious hospitality and the attention given to animals, including ours, was outstanding. Even the box of doggie toys just inside the door of the cottage. The evening walks and visits to the barn with the enlightening conversation were so enjoyable. All the extras, like eggs and milk, etc. were appreciated. Last but not least the comfortable beds that made restful sleep possible. Thank you for such a happy memory.

  There was much more room than we expected. The house is beautifully decorated. Thank you for having it so well stocked, as we did forget to pick up a few items. Thank you again for letting us bring our dog. We really enjoyed our stay!

  We had an extraordinary visit at your guest house, and can't wait to return one day. The house is much larger than i'd expected, so clean, and so well equipped. It was a true delight to stay there. My children thoroughly enjoyed the carriage rides, the kites, the animals and just being away from the city. You were so gracious and kind to us and I truly feel blessed to have had the great pleasure of meeting you and staying at your wonderful guest cottage.

  The accomodations were beyond our expectations. The house was equipped with everything we could possibly have needed and more. We loved having our own enclosed patio and yard area, as did our dog. The grounds of Overlook are beautiful and the welcome we got upon arrival was warm and inviting. Overall, that is how we would describe our entire experience here, warm and inviting. Thank you for opening your home to us.

  The Owners of this little cottage guest house are awesome and have thought of every detail. The house is clean, comfortable and very spacious. We really enjoyed seeing all the farm animals. We felt like we were in the middle of the movie "Babe". This place is very relaxing. We are definitely coming back.

  This guest nest more than met our expectations. It was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. It was also very well-suited to our dogs, as there is a large enclosed yard, and a huge dog run. They also had a crate for our dogs, saving us from packing our own, along with dog toys and bowls. The kitchen was well-stocked with pantry items, breakfast goodies, as well as cookware. While we only had breakfast, you could easily explore the area and come back for dinner. Big gas BBQ, nice patio table, outdoor seating, and a dining table inside. Wi-fi quality is excellent. Would easily work for a family, with sofa beds in the living room, and queen and double in the bedroom. There are lots of wineries nearby, as well as downtown Paso Robles. Beaches are an hour away. We also loved visiting the farm animals! Great stay - we'll be back!

  We were pleasantly surprised by the serenity and beautiful environment and lovely home, the food in the fridge and the delicious fresh vegetables. We suggest you put loungers on the patio for laying in the sun and looking at the stars and around the fire pit. Thank you so very much!

  We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed the privacy of this place. It was really quiet and there were plenty of back roads for long evening or morning walks without traffic. We did not expect it but the kitchen was stocked with a few basics - milk, eggs(farm fresh of course), coffee creamer and english muffins. That was an nice touch and meant we didn't have to spend our precious vacation time running errands. The beds were super comfortable and the space was nicely decorated in a quaint homey, country style without the decor being overwhelming. The owners were on site but but we hardly saw them which was perfect for us. We felt the price for the stay was spot on.

  How awesome it was to stay here at Overlook. From the moment we found your driveway and saw the silk tree and then to see the picture in the room "Master Bedroom", we could have been at "Home". The surrounding hills and vineyards are beyond words. You have created a very tranquil place for one to relax in. We were blessed in so many ways. Thank you for your hospitality.

  Very comfortable house - we did not need anything else. The kitchen was well stocked. The house was clean and very spacious. Thank you for your hospitality and for letting Elmo and Adriana play with the horses and all the other animals. I would recommend this house to anyone.

  The plush kennel, perfect ammenities, starter groceries & staples, beautifully tended grounds, open invitation to visit the animals, the anticipation of Ginger's kids, shaded grill, dog toys and blankets, comfortable bed...we felt like you'd thought of everything. There was never a moment when we thought, "Gee, wish there was a ...here". Thank you so much for making our stay such a wonderful and relaxing time for our entire family of five!

  My wife and I enjoyed 3 nights in Ron & Linda's lovely rental. We usually stay closer to Paso Robles, but wanted a quiet place in the country. Perfect! And Paso, with its small-town charm and surrounding over 200 wineries, was only a few driving minutes away. We enjoyed several of the wineries just "down the road." The outside of the rental is unpretentious, and we felt part of their 5+ acre working "ranch." Linda is an expert carriage driver and we got to meet one of her horses: Clare. Inside, Ron & Linda have created a relaxing place for a couple and perhaps a child or two. We brought our 12-year old golden retriever and enjoyed the easy access to outside . . . and a cozy interior on one windy day. This is a great place for dogs and their owners. But whether or not you have a pet, and even if you don't do wine-tasting, take a few days or week of Ron & Linda's hospitality and just...relax. (Note: Google maps led us down a dirt road and into a lovely meadow and vineyard...also known as being lost...so be cautious with digital directions. A call to helpful Ron got us back on track...)

  This is a wonderful place for people and dogs. The hosts, Linda and Ron, were very hospitable. We stayed one week with our two dogs, a Golden Retriever and a Gordon Setter. The apartment was large, modern and comfortable with a largish enclosed area and kennel for the dogs. The property was fenced, and we were able to visit with the resident horses, goats and dogs. The drive to town, Paso Robles, was easy and a traffic free 10 minutes and San Luis Obispo was an easy jaunt. We will definitely stay there again.

  Wow! We had a very relaxing and enjoyable week in Paso Robles and this vacation rental. We loved the horse pulled carriage ride and the fresh vegetables from the garden. The location is soooooo quiet and you can see TONS of stars at night. We were able to bring our two little dogs along and they loved roaming around the farm. This home is less than 5 minutes from one of 100s of wineries located in the Paso Robles area. Thank you for a great stay!

  Linda & Ron were most accomodating, even taking a last minute call to allow us to arrive a day earlier! This "gem" is truly a wonderfully spacious place with an inviting and comfortable aura. We loved the goodies left in the refrigerator for us, along with having internet, a wonderful huge enclosed patio with BBQ and firepit. The grounds were serene and peaceful. Ron & Linda are gracious and available if needed. We highly recommend this "Diamond in the Rough!" The location is perfect for visiting downtown Paso and lots of wineries, along with shopping. Pet friendly was a plus, with accomodations for the pet too! This will be our place to stay while visiting Paso Robles in the future!

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  Owner response: Pat and Dick are ideal guests and we would welcome them back any time. We loved their friendly smiles and they were clean and neat. The limosine was a great touch too!

  It was very helpful to have the basic food items - (butter, bread, coffee, etc.) We have made many stops on this trip and had to buy those items, eat them once or twice, then leave them there. Also, the movies were grat, and my daughter loved the dominos, kites, games, etc. The books look very interesting-only if we had more time. This place is just terrific. We absolutely loved staying here and we would love to be able to come back soon. Thank you for everything and we all really enjoyed meeting the horses. Also, the magazines were good choices and everything is so new and clean looking. Thanks again for everything.
