Perfect for couples or a small family. We have one quiet king size bedroom perfect for sleeping late. There is a queen bed in the loft and a queen sofa bed.
Enjoy your morning coffee from the deck overlooking 800 acres of the beauty that Upper South Long Lake has to offer. Embark on a canoe paddle excursion or perhaps a little fishing. Drink in the day relaxing by the lake, a challenging game of bean bag toss, or a stroll through our 5 acres of stately pines and oak forest with a picturesque grassy glen. There is the ever present opportunity to view deer, bald eagles and osprey. As evening approaches, you can enjoy a crackling fire at the granite paved campfire area and listen to the loons serenade as you gaze upon a brilliant sunset.
Don't miss a chance to top off the day by relaxing in our authentic wood fired sauna followed by a refreshing dip in the lake. You've never slept better.
A very clean 20 foot heated and air conditioned camper to sleep 3-4 is available for a little larger group.

My wife and I spent a long weekend this fall and didn't want to go home. Beautiful, clean, comfortable cabin. We spent time reading on the deck, snoozing in the hammock, fishing, and watching the Eagles. This property is a spectacular sunset location, with a great firepit. We are looking forward to staying here again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: we take pride in keeping our little slice of paradise clean and welcoming

Owner info
Year Purchased: 1993
About the owner: My wife and I bought this property undeveloped and have gradually over the years transformed it into something that is best characterized by a recent guest when she said 'I would never leave this place if I didn't have to'.
Why the Owner Chose Brainerd:
We bought this property so we could enjoy the changing seasons of the Brainerd Lakes Country to the fullest.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
Our cabin rests on 5 wooded acres only 80 feet from the shoreline that stretches for 220 feet. This setting provides a peaceful ,scenic vacation retreat. Breath taking sunsets are the norm, along with wildlife viewing and country road walks. The lake is home to abundant bass, crappie and sunfish populations and is regularly stocked with walleye, all begging to be caught. Can't forget smores over the campfire, hooting owls, and the loons calling to one another.
Come mountain bike 22 miles of the new Cuyuna Area Mountain Bike Trails along many undeveloped lakes, this area also has 5+ miles of paved bike/roller blade path, all 15 miles from our cabin.
