  My husband and I enjoyed our stay in this well appointed apartment. It is located yards from the bus that takes you to Union Station. It's a 5 minute ride to Union Station. From Union Station you can go anywhere in the city. We had a few questions and the owners' parents living in the apartment below were extremely nice and helpful! The couch in the living room was comfortable enough to sleep on. We wanted to take it home with us. We learned that you do need a parking permit to park on the street after receiving a ticket. The owners promptly got a parking pass for us. Although not huge, you have every channel you could possibly want on the T.V. Most importantly, this place was spotlessly clean. The jet tub was nice after our long days in the city. The wireless internet worked well. We felt safe there and would recommend this apartment!

  Very nice apartment overall - clean, comfortable and well-stocked. Towels were five-star quality! Stairs are a bit narrow and steep, which was only a problem when lugging one huge suitcase up. Large dogs barking two houses away was an intermittent problem a few of the mornings. The owners' representatives were downstairs and VERY helpful and friendly. Since the washing machine was out of order, one of the reps graciously offered to do a couple loads of laundry, which was a lifesaver for us, since we had packed "light", expecting to to laundry mid-week. Overall, our experience was excellent. I would highly recommend this rental!

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

  We just spent 5 nights in this beautiful location. This rental is perfectly located in downtown Washington, DC, the neighbourhood is very friendly and beautiful to walk in (our dog enjoyed is vacation also). The rental is kept immaculate and the historic features in the house are beautiful. I would recommend is rental to anyone looking to experience Washington.

  This was a very nice apartment with buses running right past or very walkable into the heart of DC. We found our Bagel & Breakfast place nearby so we went there every day. The property was very clean with lots of nice amenities like coffee and sugar (yeah), but the futon for the second couple was a bit small. We ended up sleeping one on the sofa and one on the futon. Not the greatest but it worked. And there was a full closet in the living room which was good. The bedroom, however, was really great. Nice & big, lots of closet, a small desk/vanity. Bathroom though small was fabulous.

  We truly enjoyed our stay in DC and this gem was a major reason. It was clean comfortable and the perfect location to enjoy the tourist side of DC but also experience a little bit of the local life. There was plenty of room to stretch out and not be in each others way. Within walking distance of almost everything. We had planned to get a Metro pass but ended up walking everywhere, except for the one day we rented bicycles at Union Station. Be sure to venture over to H Street and enjoy some of the local restaurants especially Biergarten Haus the food was awesome, the service was great and of course the beer was good. This was our first VRBO experience but it won't be our last.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
