  The house and the setting and views were all fantastic. The outside decks and screened porch are wonderful. Great bird-watching from the decks and house, and pleasant walks around the neighborhood. Excellent kitchen, with lots of dishes, and especially appreciated the two dish washers, since we had nine people and fixed all our meals there. Everything was so nice that no one wanted to leave the house, except for a couple of shopping trips, a trip to the the beach, and several walks and jogs in the area, and canoeing around the marshy areas of the bay near the house. All three of the larger ensuite bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms are excellent, and the bunk-bed rooms are fine, especially for kids (no kids with us, but two adult sisters and their Mom used them). Towels and linens were very nice. All appliances were excellent, including washer and dryer.. Suggestions for improvement: Provide a few more hangers for shirts/blouses/jackets in each closet (at least 6 or 8). It would be nice to have some hangers or hooks for towels and wash clothes in all the bathrooms. There was only one bar of soap in each of two bathrooms...none in the others...could have used at least one in each bathroom...we went out and bought more.

  I would stay at this house again and recommend this house to others. The property is great for entertaining and lounging. Everything from the bedrooms to the downstairs kitchen and outdoor TV make this one of the best vacation homes in Galveston. The owners are easy to work with and strive to help make your stay perfect.

  My family and extended family recently stayed here and had a wonderful time. The 5 bedrooms and onsite pool were a must for our group. The bayside makes for great views and fishing right off the pier. We found it a lot nicer than the canal houses for fishing and kayak right on the bay. We also caught many blue and stone crabs to enjoy. Location is great, not too far from Galveston but far enough to feel secluded. Galveston seems to be up and coming with lots of new restaurants and an activity pier. The new outside TV was convenient as most of our time was by the pool or fishing. I have no negative comments only be aware this is a nice house with nice furnishings, if you are looking for a spring break party house you might consider your deposit :).

  From the pictures, this house is beautiful, but once you arrive and see it in person, it is breath-taking! We had a great time relaxing, listening to music, cooking in the very well stocked kitchen and in the amazing outdoor kitchen. What a wonderful vacation. We had a houseful with 10 adults, 2 toddlers, and an infant and the place still felt comforable with a ton of space. Home owners were amazing to deal with and so helpful. Can't wait to go back. Don't hestitate. Book this one for sure!

  I used this property to host my annual team planning session. We found the home very clean and it had all the amenities we needed. The property is beautiful and very comfortable for a team our size(7). It is a great location with easy access to the rest of what Galveston has to offer. It has a beautiful evening sunset. We really enjoyed the new kitchen facilities downstairs.My team has already requested that we hold our meeting here again next year. If they will have us, we will be making this an annual visit. I found the owners very accomidating and easy to work with. It was apleasure doing business with them. Thank you for sharing your awesome property with us.

  Our family had a wonderful experience at this beautiful bay house in Galveston. The house is very thoughtful - with everything you could possibly think of! The kitchen (my favorite room) had all the tools and gadgets I needed. And the living areas are so cozy. The kids had a great time in the bunk rooms - which was a blessing for the adults. And the master bedrooms are all done in great taste with comfortable beds and private bathrooms. We loved having a pool and hot tub and spent hours each day enjoying the sun. Of course the sun sets are a piece of heaven and we all enjoyed the evenings on the dock!! Thank you Chris for always being available to answer questions and for making our 2 week getaway so enjoyable. We look forward to our next trip! The owners are very accomodating and have created a warm and inviting atmosphere in their home. As a gourmet cook - I was impressed with the kitchen as thewas available to answer questions

  Everything was perfect . Really enjoyed the pool and fishing from the bay, we brought a Kayak and had fun watching the beautiful sunset from the deck and were able to eat outside with the outdoor kitchen. The home was tastefully decorated and was very spacious for our large group. I would definitely plan on coming back with our family again.
