Very charming apartment! We love being on the beautiful Jones Street. Next to Mrs. Wilkes was an added bonus, we just hopped in line one morning! The kitchen was well stocked for the one night we decided to stay in and cook at home. Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. Yes, one of the bedrooms is small, but worked well for us. Loved being able to relax on the back porch as well. Thank you!

What a great place to stay in Savannah! The apartment had absolutely everything you would want/need for a comfortable stay; the location was fantastic, it was clean and very well equipped - SO much better than staying in a hotel! We did not rent a car, it was great to have a place that made it easy to walk to all the attractions and even better to be close to Mrs. Wilkes. :) We had one minor housekeeping request upon arrival, one call and the issue was taken care of quickly - even on a Sunday afteroon; kudos the the property management team. Cannot wait to return to Savannah and wouldn't even consider another location - will recommend to anyone I know planning to visit this great city. Thanks to all involved for making our stay a great one!

You and the apartment exceeded our expectations!! We stayed here for four nights in September and had a great experience. All the details and photos in the listing matched the actual experience. The owner couldn't have been more helpful and lovely, organizing the place for us at very short notice and suggesting great places to visit and how best to get around. Easy walking distance to River Street, City Market and the historic area... Thank you so much for all of your assistance! Thank you so much for accommodating us on such short notice, and with such extraordinary hospitality and generosity! This is such a treasure that we look forward to returning to share with friends and family! This was such a great fit for us and I know it would as nicely for others, too!

This was the picture perfect place for our 16th annual girls getaway! We want to come back to the Monterey Square Suite every year! It's beautifully decorated, luxurious, very clean, and we especially loved the beautiful courtyard. The location couldn't be better, Jones Street is magnificent, and is walking distance to many wonderful restaurants, shopping and all the great spots in the historic district. Thank You! We loved it!

Truly wonderful! We had a great time in Savannah and much of this was due to being in such an excellent condo. Have visited Savannah a few times, always looking for that ideal place to stay. The unit is superbly located with all of the Historic District and Downtown within an easy walk. The furnished kitchen was a great perk and had everything we needed. We would definitley recommend staying here if you want easy access to historic Savannah - we walked everywhere! Please DO NOT stay in a hotel! We'll look into reserving it again when we're back in the city.

The Monterey Square Suite on Jones Street in Savannah, GA met and exceeded our expectations. The property is clean, well maintained and in a fantastic location within easy walking distance to all the must see places in Savannah. We walked everywhere, even in the rain. The suite is a very warm, cozy place and makes you feel like you are part of the town rather than a tourist! It has all the charm of an 1800's home with all the amenities of a modern home. The owners were very helpful with all my questions. We would highly recommend it.

What a great vacation and family gathering in a beautiful, comfortable and home-like atmosphere! There were six of us representing Texas, Wisconsin, New York, Kentucky and Illinois. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful historic city and created memories we shall talk about for years to come. Your home was perfect for us and we hope to return with more family with at a later date.

I am extremely delinquent in writing this review! It's a beautiful place that is both elegant and inviting. The beds were really comfortable. It was clean, comfy, beautifully decorated and in a great location for sight seeing in the historic district. I would recommend this place to anyone who will be in Savannah for a weekend or a month. What a perfect location, centrally located near shopping, parks, and wonderful restaurants. We will definitely return, and in the meantime we would highly recommend this gem of a condo to all of our friends.

We really enjoyed our recent stay in your home. My husband and I met our daughter and her husband for a long weekend in Savannah, during our birthday (she is SCAD student). It was so nice to be able to bring her to the suite and cook meals and just relax. You definitely can't do that in a hotel! We only wish we could have used it more. Everything was clean and well-maintained. We would highly recommend this property. We would give this property and owner a rating of Excellent.

Our family stayed in this home during a June visit to Savannah and it was a really special experience. We have rented a lot of very nice vacation homes over the years, yet we have never rented a home where the owner went to such lengths to ensure our comfort and enjoyment. The decor was completely adorable and comfortable and the house was super clean (and it looked JUST like the pictures), but there were so many other special touches that impressed us. We found this rental to be everything it was advertised to be and it looked just like the photos. It was very clean and comfortable. If you are looking for a comfortable quiet place, this is a great deal.

We stayed here in March 2010. Great location except for being right next door to the busiest restaurant in Savannah, Mrs Wilkes. There are lines of people from 10:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Two of the bedrooms pictured are windowless and one is so small you cannot put a suitcase down. The cute little patio in the photo was a mess! Broken trellises, dead greenery and bird poop everywhere that was impossible to clean off. Completely unkept. This ground floor apartment is also rather low and musty with dusty plastic flowers as decor. We were disappointed for the price and would not recommend it. Look at the photos very, very carefully. The beds were excellent.
Owner response:It is very sad that the guests did not post a bad review until they were charged an additional fee to pay our cleaning staff extra for the double time it took to clean the property. It is our goal to make every guest's experience in Savannah an enjoyable one at our properties, but these guests abused the property to the point we had to double the cleaning staff to restore the property in time for the next guests’ arrival. For 6 years we have had nothing but happy customers as our many glowing reviews indicate. This is an unfortunate situation.

This suite is beautiful and clean. Located in a safe area of Savannah. My family and I enjoyed the space and amenities. If your traveling with a family, it is senseless to pay high hotel bills. Everything you need is in this property, and it's priced just right. Not to mention, the owners will do their best to accommodate your needs just like a hotel...only better! We loved it. Thank You!

We had the greatest time! My husband rented the suite for my 50th birthday for me and my girlfriends the age group was from 25 to 60 and we had a blast. This is the 2nd time I had rented the suite in the house. We had fun just sitting around and hanging in the house. Well I am sure this won't be the last time we will be staying. Thanks

Our stay was quite pleasant. We had a lot of family coming from multiple states, which required us to rent two units from this owner. It worked out great for us. The location was perfect and they were quite nice. It truly had all the amenities of being at home. They were both extremely clean and well taken care of. Would rent again.

We stayed at this lovely suite for a girl getaway and really enjoyed the location. We walked to everything. We sat in the courtyard and soaked up the nice weather. The property was spotless. The historic decor of the suite was elegant and complimented the wonderful architecture. We will definitely return to Savannah and stay at this perfect home away from home.

The suite was charming and very comfortable. It was quiet and relaxing yet perfectly located in the heart of downtown Savannah. We were able to walk to all the restaurants we wanted to sample, walk to more unique shopping experiences than I've seen in one place and walk through the beautiful historic district till we dropped! If you are going to visit Savannah you'll love this place.

Staying at the Jones property was so perfect for us! Much better than staying in a hotel. We stayed up late, sitting around the table, drinking wine and reminising with our high school friends. Then in the morning we drank coffee in the living room and chatted more. Thanks for the "Southern Comfort" Savannah Style! We've thoroughly enjoyed our old Savannah life style and Jones Street Suites. We would stay there again in a heartbeat! Connie, Diane, Sue, Kathy R., Kathy K. & Jane
