  The home was excellent and very nicely furnished. We used the pool and hot tub every day of our eight day stay. We loved boating the area to Fort Myers beach area and Sanibel Island. The owner Mark was very helpful with boating and area information, he checked on us by phone several times and made sure we had everything we needed. We will stay at this home again maybe next year. The weather was great.

  Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

  Mark is a great host! Our family had a great time This was the second year we have stayed at the house and it was wonderful The pool and hot tub are wonderful We cooked on the grill almost every night The house is beautiful and has all the goodies you will need to have a fun vacation! The boat was great and we spent lots of the week adventuring around the Fort Myers Beach area On one trip we met up with 2 Dophins who followed us for a good half mile and actually put their nose up on the swim platform . We would recomend the place for anyone that wants to have a good relaxing vacation

  Hi Mark We were absolutely thrilled with our rental experience with you. Your home is impeccable and all amenities and details are without precedence for us. Having rented in the Cape before, the location is extremely convenient wether boating, shopping or dining is your thing. Despite the unseasonably cool winter we enjoyed the be autiful pool and spa and SeaRay boat. Any questions or concerns were addressed in a timely manner and remedied if necessary which is extremely refreshing in this business. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of our stay and were sad to have to leave but would not hesitate to visit again and would recommend without hesitation your beautiful property to any and all potential guests.   If you are looking for a gorgeous home with plenty of room for everyone, not to mention the location is PERFECT, then choose this great vacation rental in Cape Coral! We have vacationed in the Cape Coral/Ft.Myers area for several years and this was by far, our favorite. Mark (owner) met us upon our arrival and reviewed all of the home's ammenities in addition to the Sea Ray boat we chose to rent for the week as well. If we had a question after he left, he was always available by phone if needed. The area is very quiet and peaceful. Going on vacation means being able to relax in addition to seeing and visiting the sites. We were very impressed with the bedrooms and the comfort of the beds. Did not have one restless night of sleep with being away from our own comfy beds. The pictures are beautiful but they do not do this home justice. You have to see it to believe it. Everything you need is provided by the owner. We went to alot of our favorite places and also visited some new ones. If you rent this home, check out the journal that past guests leave notes in (we did) for recommendations in the area.   This vills looks fantastic on the web site and that is exactly how it is for real - fantastic. In excellent condition and well equipped. Very nice area of Cape Coral with excellent road and sea access. Boat is superb and equipped with everything for easy navigation of the surrounding area. Owner is very helpful and easy to contact via email or phone before, during and after your stay. We would be happy to stay again or recommend to friends.

  Well we're do you begin... Upon our arrival in the evening from a flight from London into Miami and the fact that we were delayed...Mark and Sharon met us at the house.They were very friendly and helpful and that's nice better than an agent, and explained all things relative to the home and asked what time was convenient to 'us' for the boat tuition the next morning. Boat tuition was given the next morning were Mark & Sharon took time out to take us out to give us a glimpse of what was on offer around the area. The house was very clean very well equipped and was a credit to Mark and Sharon who clearly go that little extra to please. The location for us was perfect fast access to the Gulf ,Sannibel Island etc. and good for Fort Myers ,Naples and surrounding areas particularly enjoyed Coconut Creek shopping centre, loved the Sirloin Steaks at Outbacks to not to mention the Margaritas. not our first time to Florida but our first to Cape Coral,and would return to Mark and Sharon's lovely home tomorrow without hesitation and so glad we picked them.   Hallo Mark, Meine Kinder 16 und 18 Jahre,sowie meine Frau und ich hatten eine super erholsame Ferienwoche in Deiner tollen Villa in der nichts gefehlt hatte.Alles war sehr neu und sauber.Bei Sonnenschein morgens schon in den Pool zu springen hat uns ebenfalls,wie auch die Bootstouren, mit Deinem erstklassigen Boot zu den Inseln, sehr viel Spass gemacht .An den Fahrrädern hatten wir uns für kleinere Ausflüge z.B. zum Yachthafen und die Gegend erkunden auch erfreut. Abends Barbecue mit dem Supergrill auf der Terrasse rundete den Tag bei herrlichen Temperaturen im Freien ab. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und können das Haus mit Boot gut weiterempfehlen.Wir kommen sicher wieder,da auch die Buchung und Einweisung von Haus und Boot durch den Eigentümer problemlos von statten ging.   Maison de qualité bien située sur le canal, et à 15 minutes en vélo de la plage de Fort Myers. Les vélos sont à disposition ainsi qu'un bon bateau. Généralement les maisons exclusivement réservées à la location n'ont pas un tel niveau de prestation: de la décoration (à l'américaine tout de même) des tableaux, canapés cuir, serviettes de douche épaisses, tapis de bain "moelleux", système hifi-vidéo... Mark le propriétaire est présent et attentionné, (canne à pêche, carte maritime, bouteille de gaz...). Le bateau est également très bien, je préciserais simplement qu'il est dommage que la douche ne fonctionne pas, cela aura été bien agréable de se rincer du sel de nos baignades. Je pense que le problème sera résolu pour les prochains locataires. Piscine à débordement très agréable. Comme 90% des maisons autour du canal la piscine est couverte par un grillage "anti-moustique", mais c'est la deuxième année que je viens et je n'ai pas encore vu de moustique !

  We (family of four) had a wonderful time at this great place. The house is equipped with everything you need, and of course it helped that we had almost no rain in the two weeks we stayed - so we could make the most out of the pool and the boat we rented in addition to the house. We highly recommend to rent the boat - it is really just a few minutes to the river and 35-45 minutes to the first beaches on Sanibel Island. Same as going by car, but definitely more fun!!! We will definitely come back!

  Es fehlt wirklich an nichts ! Die Ausstattung entspricht in vollem Umfang der Beschreibung und den dargestellten Bildern. 3 wunderschöne Schlafzimmer mit dazugehörigen Bädern (Handtücher sind mehr als genug vorhanden), eine sehr gut ausgestattete Küche und die riesiege Poolarea lassen keine Wünsche offen. Das Wohnzimmer ist mit allen technischen Details ausgestattet, wie TV und Musikanlage, derren Boxen auch im Poolbereich und der Außenküche separat angesteuert werden können. Selbst Spielzeug für den Pool findet man in der Garage sowie auch 2 Angeln u.v.m.. Waschmaschine und Trockner sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Das Haus befindet sich in einem TOP Zustand und ist sehr großzügig eingerichtet. Es ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Die Betreuung durch den Eigentümer Mark und seine Erreichbarkeit waren ebenfalls sehr gut. Durch den eigenen Bootssteg mit Lift ist natürlich das Motorboot fahren sehr zu empfehlen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder Urlaub in diesem Haus machen. Einfach nur Luxus pur.

  The description and pictures of this house really don't do it justice. Our family of four loved this house and the pool and despite arriving at the same time as Tropical Storm Debby we had a wonderful time. The house is completely stocked with everything you need and most everything you want. There are several beaches very close including Ft Meyer Beach, Sanibel and Captiva. We also rented the boat and had a fun time going out around in the Gulf. Our son fished off the dock with the fishing equipment at the house. There are several nice resturant nearby. We would recommend Ciao which has great pizza. This is the first time we have rented directly from an owner without a property management company involved. While we were a bit concerned about that, our concerns were unfounded. Mark was wonderful to work with. He met us at the house both when we arrived and when we left and was very accommodating and nice to work with. We definitely recommend this property for anyone who wants a relaxing vacation.

  Our family had a great time at this lovely home in Cape Coral. The villa with the boat ist the perfect place for a nice vacation with the family. Everything is close, the location of the house is perfect, it is also very close with the boat to the open sea. The boat is in a very good condition and it is easy to drive. We had a very good time in the villa an we would recommend this property to our friends. There was nothing to complain! I really enjoyed staying at this house watching my family having so much fun at the pool, boating around canal and neighborhood islands. If only we could stayed a few more days... Wir hatten einen phantastischen und sehr entspannten Urlaub. Wir sind in Fort Myers gelandet (Direktflug von Düsselorf) und bequem mit dem Mietwagen angereist (ca. 25min). Der sehr freundliche Eigentümer hat uns persönlich empfangen, sein Haus und alle wichtigen Dinge gezeigt, uns eine sehr ausführliche Bootseinweisung gegeben und - vielen Dank - Sonnencreme geschenkt, die wir vergessen hatten. Das Boot ist wie das Haus in einem Top-Zustand und - für Bootsanfänger wie wir - mit einem Navi ausgerüstet, was die Orientierung in den teilweise sehr flachen Gewässern erheblich vereinfacht.

  Oh my, what can I say, what a beautiful home! It was even better than described and in a very quiet neighborhood. My family and friends spent a wonderful month in this home and loved every minute of it. Mark, the owner, was very easy to work with and went the extra mile to make sure we had what we needed. He was in the area for a couple of days and was in contact with me during that time in case I had any questions. He had televisions installed in the bedrooms for our stay and he put out a mailbox so that I could receive some important mail, which I really appreciated. The weather for the month of March couldn’t have been better. It was sunny and in the 80’s every day. We opened the sliders daily and the pool and lanai were like a bonus. There were four bicycles in the garage and we made good use of them. Cape Coral had marked bike lanes which made it easy to see the area up close. We found the Monkey Bar and Grill to be a happening place. We heard the music there the first night in town while we were eating at another restaurant. We ended up finding the Monkey Bar and the food was excellent and the music very enjoyable as were several other outdoor dining restaurants in the area. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone that is looking for a classier place to stay in a beautiful location with a homeowner that is proud of his home and wants you to be too.

  We were extrenely pleased with our 2 week stay in this beautiful, comfortable home. 2 weeks wasn't long enough. All things furnished for your every need. Pool and lanai area were used as much or more than home. Owner was very easy to work with and provided us with any and all information we needed to enjoy our time there. Location was very convenient to everything needed. Would love to return to this property again and say longer.

  The house is stocked with every amenity you could need during your stay. Our weeklong vacation at this Cape Coral gem was flawless. Mark, the owner, met us upon arrival to give us the tour and explain the home's systems (pool/spa, security), and it quickly became clear that he's genuinely invested in anticipating and exceeding his guests' expectations during their stay. The pool/lanai area, the true heart of the home, is blissful and we found the entire house and surrounding areas immaculate and well appointed. Without hesitation we would rent this luxury vacation home again, hopefully for a month a next time (weather in Jan during our stay: 80s and sunshine).

  We recently enjoyed a 4 week stay at this house, and found the accommodation to be exactly as it was described. There was nothing that we were disappointed by. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and the house was spotlessly clean. We have been disappointed on previous vacations by the standard of cleanliness and general condition of some other (not inexpensive) properties we stayed at in SW Florida. But this property was exactly as we would wish to find it. And it has just enough homely touches to make it feel like a home, but not so many that it feels like you're staying in somebody else's space. Although we travel to Florida every year, we haven't been there at Christmas time before - the slightly cooler weather suited us perfectly, but we were more than a little surprised by exactly how much the cost of heating the pool was. It was rather more than we expected. So if you intend to stay in the Winter months, allow for the extra cost of pool heating. Mark's estimate seems to be pretty accurate. Apart from that, I have nothing negative to say. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property. We certainly intend to stay there again (and put the Margaritaville to work)!   I've never written a review before but this home was so fantastic I feel compelled to let everyone know! We leased this home (with the boat) for our annual Thanksgiving Holiday. We had our daughter's family of three and one of our son's ,and his fiancé , all flying in from out of town to stay for the entire week, SIGHT UNSEEN! We planned to cook the entire Thanksgiving meal using whatever was available....That is why, when we arrived and found a spotlessly clean, professionally decorated home with a fully Stocked kitchen such a pleasant surprise. The amenities seemed endless too; Including the three ,all leather, couches in the living room ,the surround sound stereo system both inside and outside (around the pool area), the abundance of comfortable seating around the pool area, flat screen TV's inside and out and lots of space for our family of 7 to relax and enjoy this wonderful home. Mark,the owner ,was very helpful and easy to work with and we are already planning our next vacation with him. We,ve been renting homes for our Thanksgiving Holiday for 8 years now and our locations have ranged from Key West to Chicago and everywhere in between We've paid a lot more for our rentals but bar none....we've never had a more wonderful,perfect,spacious or welcoming vacation rental. My husband and I are in our fifties, our children are in their thirties and our granddaughter is one year old and we all agree....this home has something for everyone!

  A very nice and clean property with a great boat and easy access to the river. House was well equiped and the bikes are a great plus point. Renters should be aware that to run the pool is extra ( was pointed out ) and can mount up. The property also faces east at the pool side so you have little or no sun in the winter months on the pool. I would also have liked a larger bed in the master bedroom as there is clearly plenty of room.

  Owner response: The renter should have said cost not costs. As an owner of this property, I can not control the extent of electricity usage. All I can do is point out the consumption cost of the electricity. To heat any pool up to 87 degrees during the winter months can cost up to $100 to $150 for a week. This is usually not the case from April through October. This is why I point it out to everyone prior to their usage. The renter pointed out most people would want a king bed in the master bedroom. Within one week after he left, I purchased a new king bed for the master bedroom. The house does face East but is one story on a 100 foot wide lot so in the winter you still get sun till 3 PM. I always try to do my best to accommodate all renters as I did in this renters case by purchasing a tea pot upon their arrival when they questioned why the house did not have a teapot.

  Our Family of four had a wonderful vacation at this spotless house (August 2011) .The property is extremly clean and well maintained.Lots of outdoor space with a super clean BBQ. Pool and Jacuzzi were the kids favourite. The owner gave excellent customer service. Super Boat with very few hours on it,brandnew bicycles in the Garage. All kitchen utensils there. This is the spot where you only need to bring your clothes. Especially for boaters very good location. We would highly recommend this property to friends and family. Mark thank you.

  My family and I stayed here for 5+ weeks this year and had a wonderful time. The owners couldn't have been more accommodating and were very easy to work with. The house is just terrific (great layout, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable) and the large lanai with the pool/spa, outdoor kitchen and tv/lounge area is really nice. And, while we're not boaters, we still got plenty of suntanning use out of the dock. We spent the majority of our time in these outdoor spots soaking up the sun, relaxing and basking in the Florida weather which was nothing short of spectacular. Location is very convenient to shopping, restaurants and groceries as well as quick bridge access to Ft Myers. In short, a wonderful time that we thoroughly enjoyed and definitely plan to be back next year.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners.
