The Grouper Getaway is the carriage house of Fishstix in Rosemary Beach. It has broadband, high-speed wired and WIRELESS internet access!!!!! Rosemary Beach was designed by the same town planners who created Seaside twenty years ago and is set high upon the dunes overlooking the pristine white sands and crystal clear waters of the Gulf Of Mexico.
The Grouper Getaway has a very spacious feel as the ceiling is 14 feet high in the Great Room which includes a brand new kitchen with all the appliances you could possibly need. There is a master bedroom and bath that open onto a beautiful balcony. The Great Room also opens onto the same balcony.
The location of our two homes - Fishstix and The Grouper Getaway - are ideal. We are centrally located with only a one to two minute walk to the tennis courts; the town center of Rosemary Beach with restaurants, a fitness center, a spa, shopping, a sweet shop, bike rentals, and a post office; the white sandy beach; and the "world famous" Coquina {heated when needed} and indoor Sky Pools {the Sky Pool is also heated and enclosed with climate control}.
Rosemary Beach also has a bank {Regions} with teller machines; the previously mentioned spa {Solace Day Spa} that offers a wide variety of relaxing spa treatments, including massage therapy, luxurious facials, nails services, and refreshing body treatments, all in a unique tropical setting with trained professionals; and a state of the art, brand new, fitness center- the Rosemary Beach Fitness Center {a nominal fee for guests-$15/day, $70/week} with top of the line resistance and cardiovascular training equipment with degreed and certified personal training and instruction. Other classes and programs include yoga, pilates, tai chi, water aerobics, group fitness events, cardio circuit, wellness, nutrition, one on one training and more.
The Grouper Getaway is above a two-car garage shared with Fishstix -one space for each home. The Grouper Getaway is perfect for a romantic get-away for two, or even for a family with two small children! I have gone to Destin for over 45 years; and Rosemary Beach is, by far, the most beautiful location on the Panhandle!!!

Rosemary Beach in our opinion is one of the best located beach communities in the Beaches of South Walton. It is central between Destin and Panama City if you decide to find some of the area attractions but also nestled alongside the beautiful 30A. It is easy to bike to any of the beaches along 30A to take in the many area offerings. We have been coming to Rosemary Beach for many years and have stayed at many places within the community. Grouper Getaway was a nice surprise to come upon and perfect for our family of three, which includes a small baby. The pictures posted on the website are accurate but also do not to it justice. The decor is up-to-date in design and inviting with it's buttery walls and contrasting white couches, drapery, with comfortable furniture and plenty of storage space for a week's stay. The light wood floors, sisal rugs, light kitchen cabinets and vaulted ceiling create a very open and clean space. The kitchen was well stocked with every tool one needs to make all meals if they so desire. A new keypad entry system was very easy to use that made it easy to not have to carry keys. Other bonus amenities were Wi-Fi internet service, Blue-ray with flat screen TV and a full washer and dryer. Working with the owner was very easy..., she was prompt with email inquiries and even called just before our stay to make sure we didn't have any last minute questions. The property is well taken care of. It is perfect for a couple getting away, or a small family. We highly recommend Grouper Getaway if you are looking for a place that is inviting and relaxing after a long day of sightseeing or spending time at the beach.....this is definitely the place for you to try.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with young children.

I've vacationed in the Seaside, Rosemary Beach area for over 20 years. Just returned from a quick trip to Rosemary Beach with a friend. I loved the Grouper Getaway and would recommend to my friends and family. Clean, new furnishings, everything as listed here is perfect. The owner was great to work with and helpful with suggestions (beach chair rentals,etc.). I loved being in the middle of RB and able to walk to everything. I hope to return this summer.... a great find!:)
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway.
