Our family of four (kids aged 8 & 6) had an amazing week in Rincon and thoroughly enjoyed this property. There was more than enough space for us as the kids decided to stay together in one of the lower bedrooms which have trundle beds. The kitchen was perfect for preparing breakfast and the odd lunch and dinner but mostly we ate out at the great restaurants in the area. The upstairs dining/living area was a great place to have breakfast and enjoy the breeze. John, the owner, was extremely helpful and stayed up late for our arrival from San Juan. He met us on the beach a couple times to show us the good snorkelling spots and teach paddleboarding. He also pointed us in the direction of local attractions. As for Rincon, it's a beautiful location. Lots to do and here were some of our favorites: Waterfalls Cabo Rojo/Bahia Sucia (an hours drive) Swimming at the pool/beach of the unit Boogie Boarding at Domes (John has a couple that come with the unit) Snorkelling at Steps Beach (and eating awesome empanadillas at the Steps Quick Lunch) Banana Dang (or Carta Buena) for afternoon coffee/smoothies Enjoy your stay!Did you find this review helpful? Our stay in Rincon was our fourth visit to Puerto Rico and our most enjoyable. Sol y Playa condominiums on Corcega beach provided everything we were looking for; a comfortable and spacious floor plan, a well maintained pool, and access to a beautiful beach. It was well furnished and clean. Comfortable breezes gave us an outdoor feel on the terrace and balconies. The owner was available and responsive when we had questions. We had to get used to the sounds of traffic at times. The town of Rincon turned the water off at times which was inconvenient but manageable. But, overall it was a very nice place to stay.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Large condo indeed. We fit several adults and kids and had plenty of room to spare. The top floor balcony is great for a large group to gather, cook, eat, watch TV, etc. Great pool, gazebo, and wading pool. Owner is very lives nearby and can direct you to anything you need.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

What a perfect spot! This condo is so much bigger than we expected. The penthouse deck is the best place to hang out; half covered and half open air, with the beautiful trees nearby you feel like you are in a tree house. The 2 decks on the opposite side of the condo are great as you can see the beautiful beach from them. The beach is perfect for swimming and sunbathing. We rented Stand-Up Paddle Boards from the Nathan, the owner’s son. What a blast. The condo is outfitted with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen with washer/dryer and beach chairs and umbrellas. The pool area is very nice and all of the residents/ guests were friendly. The condo was decorated very nicely and was warm and inviting. A 5 minute drive into downtown Rincon where you will find grocery stores, Pharmacia and locals selling fruits and veggies on the side of the road made it easy to make meals in the condo or grab a food/drink for the beach. Great Restaurants too. We highly recommend this rental! John was great and answered any questions that we had…even when asked what to do in the case of a Sea Urchin sting! It was reassuring that he lives in Rincon and is close by if needed. Cannot wait to return to Rt. 413, The road to happiness. Thanks John Mitchell!Did you find this review helpful? The owner very kindly met us at the condo at 5am to let us in after a long trip from UK via New York. For us it was the perfect place in every respect. Beautifully appointed, 60 second walk to the beach/pool and 2 minutes from the shops and excellent restaurants by car (which you definitely need in Rincon). We had 10 days in heaven and we can`t wait to go back. Love it, Love it, Love it.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Our family (5 adults) just completed a glorious four night visit to Rincon. We had a tremendous and relaxing time. The villa itself was everything it was advertised to be and even looked better in person. From the high end kitchen and furnishings to the glorious setting our family really enjoyed a wonderful time. John was very helpful answering questions before our arrival, personally greeted us and gave us a tour upon arrival, and took care of all our incidentals including pre-stocking services. John even took the time to teach my family how to paddle-board. We enjoyed some local exploring, beach hopping and did an awful lot of pool and beach side relaxing as well. We loved the convenience of the grocery store. We are definitely going back some day!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Posting on behalf of this fantastic condo. Great location... we rented a car from BQN airport, and was a quick 20 minute drive to the condo. Beautiful location, literally steps from the beach, which was very clean and quiet. The pool and kiddie pool were both great, as we had our toddler with us. Everyone in the complex was very nice, as well as around town. The bedrooms were more than spacious and had nice linens etc. Was nice to have all linens and towels (plenty of them!) available for our use. The bedrooms on both floors had nice comfortable, clean beds, with great closets to store our stuff so suitcases weren't laying around. The bathrooms were a little old, but totally functional and fine for us. Cannot say enough great things about all the balconies. Especially the deck upstairs where we grilled and ate all our meals and sat around in the morning and at night. The kitchen was also good for us, since we cooked most meals on stove or on the grill. Updated appliances were a definite plus. He even had a blender so we enjoyed pina coladas every evening :) Convenient to town and all the grocery stores and restaurants. John was great in guiding us on what not to miss in the area, and where to go for necessities. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet getaway with a beautiful scenery. We would definitely go back again.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 3/3

My husband, stepdaughter and I were all looking for one thing over the Christmas holidays, complete R&R, and we were not disappointed. While initially there were a few issues we needed to address with John, the owner, he was incredibly accomodating and did everything he could to make sure our stay was just as we had hoped.....peaceful and relaxing. This is a condo that a small group can get lost in, and we did sometimes, but most of our time, when not at the beach, was spent upstairs on the rooftop patio which was beautifully decorated and conducive to just lazing around. Lovely breezes wafted through the entire condo at all times of the day and night. It was like living outside even though we were inside. There are many good restaurants in Rincon, and we visited quite a few for lunch, but the only night we ventured out for dinner was X-mas. The other nights we were content to make use of the grill, have a few drinks, and just hang out together. I must make mention of the beach.....one of the most beautiful in Rincon, for sure, for those of us who enjoy calm, warm waters. (Surfing waves are not too far away) It was very private and quiet. My stepdaughter and I kept watching people stop and look at the gates of the complex, and we could only imagine how disappointed they were to have not been staying there too. Rincon is an incredily easy town to navigate. The local food market, Econo, offers just about everything you could need during your stay. We did one big grocery/beer/wine/tequilla run the first day we were there, and then went back as needed. We aren't picky people and don't require bells and whistles, so we were content with what we were able to get. I will warn everyone that Rincon is a small community, I say this with a smile as we ran into our landlord, John, two times in one day. My husband and I have been to Rincon a few times before, but this is the first time we rented a condo. I highly recommend this rental for all of the reasons listed above, but most particulary because we were treated with great kindness and hospitality.Did you find this review helpful? Went to Rincon with my family at the end of January. Weather was amazing. The apartment is nice, right on a nice, calm beach which is great for kids. Great sunsets. Master bedroom is on the second floor with a private bathroom (standard, not luxurious). Second floor also has a large terrace which is great for eating on. First floor has two bedrooms that are nice, but a little tight if you pull out the trundle beds. Apartment complex is gated and we felt safe. Most of owners of the complex seem to be local wealthy Puerto Ricans who use it as a weekend place and some American retirees, so was generally pretty empty during the week. On the weekends there were a few people and kids having parties on their terraces, but not too loud. The apartment complex is not too far from the south side of town, but the north side of town (less than an 8 minute drive) is where the surfers hang out. There are some nice public tennis courts a short drive away. Rincon is about a 30 to 40 minute drive (PR traffic can be bad) from Aguadilla Airport. It is not a very touristy town besides the surfers. Excellent things to do: The Boarder House Surf School Pool bar for sushi Water sports (waver runners, banana boat) at Coconuts Watersports at the Villa Cofresi hotel which is a two minute drive away We did have a few minor issues, otherwise I would have given 5 stars, but as mentioned John was super responsive. He used to run a hotel in the US and is all about costumer service.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 6/6
