This Villa is in the heart of La Jolla Village with walking distance to everything!
Designer beach inspired furnishings with home theater, dining area, loaded kitchen, beach chairs, beach towels, patio furniture, BBQ, washer/dryer, linens provided to accommodate up to 6 guests.
Located in the highly sought after community of La Jolla Village, just 4 blocks to the beach with a great deck with firepit and ocean views. The Villa has been newly painted with stone and hard wood floors, fresh white paint in each room and all new furnishings including a BBQ for those outdoor cookouts on the private patio.
The living room is light and airy with vaulted ceilings and feels very tranquil with its coastal comfortable furnishings. There is french doors that open directly to a private patio so you can feel the ocean breeze and listen to the birds singing. The living room offers a flat screen television with DVD player, IPod docking system and beautiful gas fireplace.
There are three bedrooms in the Villa. High quality king size bed with luxury linens is located in the master bedroom, a queen size bed is located in the second bedroom. The third bedroom has twin trundles. The gourmet kitchen with sub zero refrigerator at the center of this home is fully stocked with every item you will need to create any meal. The dining room is located in between the kitchen and outdoor dining on private patio area which makes for great time spent with friends and family.
There is high-speed internet access throughout the Villa for your laptop computer with available printer. There is also a free long distance phone. The rooftop patio with sofa seating and fire pit makes this home a perfect vacation home for families and entertaining. The outdoor dining table seats six, so be prepared to enjoy the indoor/outdoor La Jolla lifestyle with family after a day at the beach.

I never take the time to do reviews, but... I spent hours looking for the right place for our family of four to stay on Spring break. I was ready to book a place on Mission Bay, but I Googled for local Restaurants and didn't find that much. Plus, I realized that much of what is on the bay side vs. the ocean side in the Mission Bay area faces East. That means no sun on the outside deck during the warmest time of day. And with the frequency of morning fog this time of year, we'd have had very little brightness to enjoy. Sitting with a margarita or glass of wine...in the sun is key. So I thought I would check out La Jolla (had no familiarity) and found this house. Not only does it have a sunny deck, it has 3 of them to choose from. After a bit of too much sun today, we sat at the dining table with cool shade. But when it was partly cloudy and cool, we enjoyed the rooftop deck and fire. Outside living is a key part of this house and the view up top is to die for! And if outside is such a big part of enjoying California, shouldn't the furniture out there be as comfy as inside? Yet, so many properties I looked at had cheap, uncomfortable looking outdoor furniture. Not the case at this house! We have been outside as much as in and been super comfy. On to other features... Close to everything and yet the few blocks from the busy area gives more quiet and privacy. I was surprised that Fay Ave is as busy as it is, but it actually has not bothered us and is peaceful compared to other areas. The decor is fun, classy. Master bed is like sleeping in a cloud. Even the towels smell amazing...the whole house does...sort of natural woodsy scent...very clean. GREAT...bikes, kitchen, steam shower, jetted tub, flowers that smell great on all decks, ambiance, stereo, surround sound, comfy sectional, dimmers on most lights, upgraded linens, beach supplies, clean as a whistle, security system so when my kids go out a door it announces which one, fireplaces everywhere, lots of pillows/ bedding, artwork, beach that's close is perfect, owners and local staff professional and helpful...and more. ONLY negatives are: not two parking spots in drive (they keep a car here in drive...not huge deal), one light bulb out (who cares), island in kitchen could use simple stools around it, kitchen sink area could use better lighting, Vons grocery is pricey. Way worth the money. Best place, and I would know, after the amount of house hunting I did. Love it here.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great time at this beautiful home over Thanksgiving week. It is nicely furnished and provided everything we needed. The patios were great, we espectially enjoyed the fire pit and view from the roof top patio. The owner was easy to work with and the location was fantastic. We walked to starbucks each morning and also walked to several restaurants and shops in La Jolla and to the beach. We would recommend this home to anyone traveling to La Jolla.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We have stayed in La Jolla many times over the years and this house was by far the most beautiful. Although there were just the two of us and our little dog, we used all of the spaces inside and outside the house. It was starting to get a little cool at night, but the fireplaces outside allow you to enjoy your cocktails on the rooftop deck and the private eating area at the back of the house. We even lit the fireplace in the living room one evening. There are also two more fireplaces in the house, including the master bedroom, for those snowy California nights! The location of the house is excellent - walking distance to restaurants and the beach. Bottom line - yes, we will be back!Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway.

This house could not have been more perfect for our needs. It was beautiful and spotless. We walked everywhere! We never got in our car once. Had a wonderful time at the Comedy Store and picnicking at La Jolla Cove. The owner was very easy to work with and we have already started to plan our next trip! My husband and I have stayed at many properties from VRBO and this is by far the best one yet.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
