Located in the heart of Wisconsin’s Northwood’s, this wonderful lake home is found on Planting Ground Lake (“best lake on the chain”), which is part of the highly sought after Eagle River/Three Lakes Chain of 28 Lakes. Take in the unbelievable view of the lake from the elevated, screened in porch or from the open patio below. The gently sloping, shallow shoreline consists of a rock free, sandy bottom. The lake front is perfect for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boating, football toss or any water games you can think of. The sitting area at the end of the dock is a great place to relax, sun bathe or star gaze. In the evening enjoy a drink with friends around the lakefront camp fire.
On the main level you will find the attached garage, main entry, family room with a gas assist fireplace, dining area, full kitchen, powder room, elevated screened in porch (my favorite area) and a master bedroom with attached master bath. On the lower level you will find a living room, a bedroom with queen size bed, another bedroom with two sets of rustic/log bunks, a washer and dryer, a bathroom with a shower plus a patio over looking the lake.
The Chain offers some of the best musky, walleye, bass and panfish fishing all year round. Catch any of these fish right from the dock! Rent a pontoon boat from the nearby marina and enjoy a relaxing day exploring the endless shorelines available only on the Chain of 28 lakes.

We found this home online and took a chance that it was going to be all that it said it was and it was better than that. We shared Labor Day weekend with another family at this home and had a wonderful vacation. From the kayaks and the paddle boat to swimming and fishing on the beautiful water we had entertainment for all. We are going back again soon!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We had a beautiful visit to this lake home for one week which included my husband's "60th" birthday celebration. The weather could have been a couple of degrees warmer but everything else was great. This is a beautiful home with all the amenities. We had sunshine everyday and spent hours on the water, both in a rental pontoon and at the dock. I would definitely rent here again. The setting is spectacular from the sounds of the Loons, to the regal Eagles flying overhead.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
