  We were disappointed by this rental. The unit did not have a microwave as descibed which was a big deal to us. Not as critical to us, but also misleading: there was no free internet, the photos are stock photos, there was no phone unless you wanted to pay $100 deposit on a local cell phone, and there is no table on the patio. The kitchen items consisted of 2 bowls, two dessert plates, two spoons, butter knives, and fork, and one (?) coffee cup. This unit was a "lock-out" unit. We have stayed in other properties in lockouts with no problems, but it did raise issues here. The door that connects this unit to the main condo was only a regular interior door. There was no privacy between our unit and the main condo. We could hear the other renters using the bathroom as well as their conversations. In addition (although it was not within the owner's control) the other renters had a small child that got up each morning at 6 a.m. and proceeded to communicate only by screaming, which her family thought was cute but we did not. Overall we didn't think the value was here for this unit. Grace Bay beach is a resort/activity (busy) beach. If that is what you like, go for it; although we would suggest paying up for a full unit. If you like simpler, more laid back, uncrowded beaches, look elsewhere. On this island staying off-beach, renting a car, and traveling to beaches is totally workable; there is plenty of beach access parking for all the beaches. Some good bets for other beaches are Taylor Bay and Sunset Bay beaches and Malcolm's beach. Also as a final note, the unit was clean and there were no bug issues (not even an ant) - housekeeping did a good job.

  This was our first time using VRBO, so we were a little apprehensive. However everything went very well, even better than our expectations. The room was great, everything promised was provided, and then some. The location is the very best if it is snorkleing that you are looking for (and Caicos Adventures on site can arrange everything else). Rashaad and Felicia, were very helpful and always a pleasure to talk to.The Somewhere Cafe was fun. The booking through the owners went very well. We would \recommend this property, and also extend our thanks to Leanne, Rashadd and Felicia, for making it a great 7 days and nights.

  Recommended for: Families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
