This is a rare property that affords peace and quiet on the magnificent shores of the Mexican, Pacific Ocean. Rolling waves, cascade and break beneath the patio where you witness the transformation of the ocean and lull of the tides from sunrise to sunset on the outdoor patio. A private, negative edge pool connects you with the water without having to leave the spacious deck. The ocean challenges local surfers - join in or enjoy their entertaining exploits! Body surfing and boogie-boarding is also a great pastime. When the tide is low, walk across the beach and estuary to connect to the 12 mile long beachfront. Daily walks are guaranteed to keep you fit. A common pool is within steps of Casa Lazuli and a perfect play pool for children of all ages.
Day trips can be organized with drivers or if you rent a car, directions to fabulous shopping at nearby local markets such as Zaculpan, San Veras or San Blas which is about 30 minutes by car. Perhaps you want to consider a fantastic shopping excursion over-night to Guadalajara and be sure to include Tlaquepaque where all the great shopping is located. We had an absolutely wonderful week at Casa Lazuli - a truly amazing, special place that was everything we'd hoped for and more! The employees who work at Punta el Custodio were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Food, excursions, transportation to and from the airport were all arranged and went off without a hitch, making for a stress-free, relaxing week. The only downside to our vacation was the departure and the ensuing post-Paradise blues!! So, of course we are now looking at the calendar and planning our return! Thank you for allowing us to experience your beautiful villa. Can't wait to get back there. We will be in touch... My Wife and I booked Casa Lazuli to go on our honeymoon. We had to postpone our trip because of time demands and we really needed a place to cool down after a very busy and difficult year. I'm the realist in the family... so I wasn't getting my hopes up. Big Surprise! When I arrived at the property I was literally stunned. I couldn't believe my eyes! We arrived late and there was food waiting for us on the counter... still warm! After diving into the tasty wonderful meal we walked through the kitchen (the decor is tasteful, rich, warm, lively and sumptuous) and walked right out through the doors to the pool and the stunning beach. I love water POV's that look down on the water with long sight lines. Next we starting scouting out the rooms. The main guest bedroom in the house is a fantasy come true... it's the one with the red curtains. It is fantastic! This was outdone by the master bedroom on the 2nd level overlooking the ocean. The food was amazing, the people were beautiful to be with, and the weather was perfect. I only wish I had brought more people to share this with... which I could have. The house comfortably holds 7 or 8 people with lots of different areas to hang out and talk. It was a great place to get away from it all and to hang out. I should have booked it for longer. My do suggest carefully reading over the orientation information before going.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

Rates
Rates depend on the number of people and the time of year, with rents averaging $3500/week. We are always open to discuss rates! Ideally 6 adults is the maximum due to water constraints, but there are extra beds for children. Transportation to and from the Puerto Vallarta airport is $100 USD each way. Food packages at $210 USD/person is recommended or you can purchase and prepare your own food. Tipping the maid is required (400 pesos per week) and any other services should also be tipped through the property manager. Detailed info pkg is available.
