  We have stayed in this condo for the past 6 or 7 years and will be back in July for a week. It is our home away from home and love renting from the Reetz family. Their home makes you feel at home.

  This is the second time we've stayed at a property at Empress. I would highly recommend this property. The condo was huge and gorgeous. The master bed was heavenly. Huge master bath. Great gulf views from balcony. I loved spending the early mornings on the balcony with my dad, watching the beach services set up chairs and umbrellas and the fishing boat fleet head out to sea from the Destin Harbour. This condo is in a great location. Whale's Tail restaurant is across the street. Great breakfast and dinner, love eating overlooking the beach. The property has a huge swimmng pool and jacuzzi. The building has a secure entry gate. And the condo uses keyless entry, which is such a convenience. It's so nice to not have to worry about taking keys to the beach. A good coffee house and winery are within walking distance. I highly recommend this unit and this location. We love Empress and Miramar beach.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

  We just returned from our stay at this condo for the week of spring break and I have to admit it was the best condo we have stayed at in this area. This was at least our fifth time to vacation in Destin and we will continue to stay at this exact condo. There was six of us in the party and the condo was large enough we all had our own space. The 3rd floor was perfect because you were low enough to talk to the people coming by on the walking trail but also high enough to see the beautiful water and beaches. The way the condo complex is laid out you also never waited for the elevator because each floor only had two condos on each stop of the elevator. As you can tell we will be going back to this location in the future. Also, the owner was very easy to work with and absolutely no problems.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

  My family and I have vacationed in Destin many times and stayed many different places. I have been trying to find that special place that we will come to again and again. I believe I have finally found it. This place is amazing. Words can not describe how much we loved this condo. The pictures can only give a small idea of how great it really is. There is so much room for everyone to have their own space and privacy. The view is beyond breath taking and the location can not be beat. We are very grateful that we were able to make such wonderful memories in this beautiful home.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

  I have stayed here twice in the last few years. Both times have been the best spring breaks ever. The place is very well decorated and is like a home away from home. Thanks to the owners for making it so memoriable and for sharing their home with us.
