The Pelican was awesome!!! It was the perfect place for us 8 women to get away. It was big, roomy and very relaxing. We so loved the back deck. We stayed on it the whole time. It had everything you needed. It was very clean and well maintained. Wasn't far to walk to beach. Souvinier shops weren't far, restaurants were close. We went to The Hangout and The Pink Pony. We went to Lambert's Cafe..where they throw the rolls at you. But mostly, we stayed at the house on the deck. It was heaven. I would 100% recommend this property to anyone. We do a Girls Weekend Away every year. This was our 3rd one and we plan on making The Pelican our spot for our 4th year. It even had a built in ice maker which was awesome. It came with lots of stuff...coffee maker, crock pot, ironing board & iron, washer/dryer, jacuzzi tub in master bath, dvd player in all rooms, etc. Awesome place!!!! Thanks for the great hospitality! See yall next year!!!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

Hi Lynn. I just wanted to share with you what a wonderful experience we had at The Pelican. This house had the best of both worlds. We could walk under the bridge to the ocean front, or we could walk over the bridge to the public area of the pass. We caught many blue crabs, fish and even flew a kite. We will definitely be booking with you all again soon. Thank you for your prompt attention concerning the AC unit as well.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway.
