Lovely, antique half Cape, circa 1825, located in the Historic District, just a short walk from the harbor and town, is available for an island getaway by the week, month, or the season...and even for a weekend if availability permits!
Our newly renovated home has been recently updated with a new kitchen and baths, and has been decorated with every amenity for your enjoyment, including high speed wireless Internet. There is a a fully landscaped, very private fenced-in yard for your outdoor pleasure.
First Floor: Gourmet eat-in kitchen with adjoining half bath and laundry room. Kitchen includes new Maytag glass top range with convection/conventional oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and garbage disposal. Countertop cable TV, food processor, Braun coffeemaker, blender, and Cuisinart toaster. Formal living room with adjacent front entrance hall, family room with dining area, and master bedroom with full bathroom complete the first floor. Linens are Charisma or Ralph Lauren; wall coverings by Greeff, Waverly & Schumacher; and fabrics mostly by Ralph Lauren. Furniture is a blend of English pine, and American antiques and reproductions.

Second Floor: A captain's stairway leads to the second floor with two bedrooms (one large queen room and one smaller bedroom with a twin trundle bed) and a full bathroom with tub/shower between and accessible from either bedroom.
Enjoy the beautifully landscaped grounds, completely enclosed with picket fences, arbors, and privet. The yard has a lovely brick patio and walkways surrounded by English gardens. The upper yard has a lovely, old crabapple tree with a swing - perfect for your little one to enjoy! There is an outdoor shower (hot & cold) surrounded by a cedar enclosure and an irrigation system to keep the flowers and shrubs beautiful & healthy! A stone driveway allows parking for one, and a bike rack is provided, also. You'll enjoy the patio lighting in the evening and Adirondack chairs and cedar table & chairs covered by a market umbrella. A Weber gas grill is provided for your outdoor dining pleasure!
This home is perfect for a small family or for two couples vacationing together. Or, perhaps, even for a honeymoon!

We will consider well-behaved pets, who are crated in a tenant's absence (crate for small dogs provided), with a $500 refundable pet deposit!
