New cottage built in 2003 with most of the modern comforts, including: hot water, shower, water closet, washbasin, heating, full kitchen, comfortable beds, satellite TV, VCR, and CD/DVD. There is a large deck to the south with garden furniture and a large private garden with ample space to park several cars. No Smoking inside the house, please. A pet is welcome under certain circumstances. We live in Holland, but the rest of the Albertsson family in Sweden will receive our guests and help out with directions and information.
Location: In a tranquil region with natural beauty and charm, between lakes and forest, yet only eight minutes by car from the town of Södertälje and 30 minutes from the City of Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. Also guests without a car can reach the cottage, the nearest bus stop is two kilometers away. The cottage is built on a plot of 2200 m2 along a local road with hardly any traffic and behind the house there is a vast forest. At 20 minute walk or two kilometers, there is the great lake of Mälaren or the small lake Malmsjön, both of which are nice for swimming, fishing, windsurfing and in the winter great for iceskating. A 30 minute drive will take you to nice beaches at the Baltic Sea.
Sights and trips: Marina (4km): we have a large rowing boat which our guests can use for a small fee. The experienced boater may also rent the engine for the boat, making a great trip to Stockholm by boat possible.
